I can't figure out why, but I'm having trouble getting your character avatars to load when I use the "Insert Image", which is unfortunate. I intend to use them frequently so I can picture the character you're portraying in content. It will be especially important when I'm running encounters. Has anyone else ever experienced this problem with D&DBeyond?
In the meantime, I have a few more notes for all the players:
I mostly use alignment to reflect a short-form of how others will perceive you. Of course, as your reputation grows, that may change, and I'm not rigid at all about alignment. It seems silly to do so in 5E anyway. But it's still important, because it will reflect which NPCs are drawn to you, or repelled by you. However, I can't read your alignment or your backstories on your character sheets. If you haven't done so, please let me know what your alignments and backstories are.
Those of you who haven't put up character sheets, please do so. I can run the campaign with a minimum of two people, but probably a maximum of 10 (and that's really pushing it). So I'd like to send the invite links based on the first-come-first-served policy.
Because of the survivalist nature of the game, I'm going to expect a bit of bookkeeping from everyone. When a day ends, you need to adjust your rations. When you're out of rations, we'll also say you're out of water. This is also true for ammunition items. Rest and recovery may be a bit harder to find in harsh terrain without proper camping gear or shelter. So... that's just a heads-up.
The builds require standard array. I know most people prefer point buy, but the way I run games, you won't miss it.
Ok, individual notes:
fistofcurry, Theodoric Greatshield needs to be level 1.
_Miglasezis_ I like the idea of reducing your base land speed, but I worry about you taking so many dips to your stats. In the 3.5 rules, an old man would take a -2 penalty to STR, DEX, and CON. But they would also get a +1 bonus to INT, WIS, and CHA. Sacrificing 6 ability points to gain 3 hobbles an adventurer more than it helps shape their roleplay. So, what if we applied those bonuses and penalties to your skill bonuses rather than apply them to your base ability scores. And since in 5E skills are more flexible in their use, that means instead of struggling to keep up with your comrades, you simply have to do things differently. Maybe you can't make that running jump over the chasm, but you have learned a trick or two involving ropes and levers that could get you across that chasm without breaking an ankle. What do you think?
Deconblu most of this story is going to revolve around the Dragon Wars, but I think I can make room for a side-plot involving your character's interest. I'm not familiar with the Ironmongers Guild in Dragonlance, but I have no doubt a dwarven clan would have one. Guild affiliations are catnip for DMs looking to find sidequests. Did you invent the Ironmongers Guild for your character's benefit, or is there a source link that I can reference?
SunDial365 I love your character's name and concept. You don't see a lot of Harengons in campaigns. And I imagine you'll be pretty rare in a Dragonlance setting as well. That's going to draw attention. So be ready for that.
Weathervision it's no rush, but when you get a chance, message me privately about your thoughts on how you want your story arc to go. Of all the side plots, yours will be the easiest to integrate, since you two got separated so close to where the action is, and I want to do it justice.

Cool with all the notes! Thank you so much for liking my character and choosing him!!! AHHHH :) *finger guns*
Idk about the encounter problems sorry. I tend to use Dungeon Scrawl for my encounters which requires downloading the avatars.

Second - I tried to read more about the setting, but yep, it is quite a lot of info. I tried to add ties and bonds to the world around and also to the time when the campaign happens. If something is not correct - pls tell me, and I will make updates! Here is my updated backstory:
Agish is a tribesman of one of the Khalkist Mountains' many barbarian tribes. Snoweaters tribe was quite small, mostly living by raiding, hunting, and trading with dwarves from Thoradin city. Harsh life, constant danger and focus on survival made the people of the tribe very resilient, hardworking and strong-willed.
That also influenced beliefs of the tribe, so Chislev was the main god because of her strong connection to life-death cycle and nature itself. God of tribe warriors was Kiri-Jolith, almost as important to the tribe as Chislev.
From his childhood Agish, being physically weaker than many of his people, was prepared as one who would fill the role of a shaman, god-speaker, and spiritual leader of the tribe by his grandfather. Still, once gods withdrew from the world in the process of Chaos War, his purpose was denied by the fate itself.
The tribe went through new type of crisis, they never met before - a crisis of the spiritual kind, crisis of faith. Being more primitive people, they really were not prepared for being alone, without the guidance of gods, so hunts became ineffective, raids brought more troubles than profits and the tribe fell into the hands of absolute depression. Agish, being a young man with a great feeling of responsibility for his people, after consulting with his grandfather, decided to venture out of the mountains to find the reason why the gods left and, maybe, find something else that would help his people. New beliefs, artifacts, philosophy, or even allies.
His spiritual training allows him to use his barbaric rage as short bursts of hyper-concentration (flavor for the ki) to use animalistic instincts, to be fast and agile. Because of this, as disciple of Chislev, he refuses to use any armor or weapon, trying to be as close to nature as possible, hoping that by that dedication he will please her and she will answer the prayers once again.
Good advice, I'm thinking Bran should be aligned as a Qualinesti elf. And as his journey progresses his faith as an elf somehow reconnects to his god and the gift of telepathy is reinstated with him as proof of his gods favour in him. He's father would be far from impressed there!
Is there a way to add this as an sub-class within the DDB construct at all? Advice?

As for the Ironmongers Guild, it's mentioned in the Dragonlance wiki entry for Thorbardin. Can't find anything on it online and don't recall it being mentioned in any of the books.
Side note, I'm on holiday with the family this week but will be checking in. Maybe a little slow responding, my apologies.
VitusW I haven't paid for Maps yet, and I thought I'd run a game or two in D&DBeyond before spending more money on DM Tools. I downloaded the character images you used in your own character sheets and loaded them on Google Drive, and I've been trying to insert images using links from there with no success. To see if the problem was with Drive, I also tried loading random images from Google image search with mixed results. Best guess, there's some kind of protection encryption embedded into some of the links. Let me try something...

Well, I've been trying to post a table with your avatars, character names, alignments, and backstories. In Myth-Weavers, I could do that by laying out a spreadsheet in Google Sheets and simply pasting the formatted spreadsheet into the comment box. The site would code it as needed. I see that's not how this is going to work here, so I'm taking a different route until I learn a better way. Bare with my while I learn. I really like D&DBeyond's resources, but there will be growing pains as I learn to adapt.
Anyway, here is what I have so far:
Agish, Human Monk, NG. Played by Keltsat I can't read your Character Sheet. Please change your Privacy Settings
Agish is a tribesman of one of the Khalkist Mountains' many barbarian tribes. Snoweaters tribe was quite small, mostly living by raiding, hunting, and trading with dwarves from Thoradin city. Albert, Human Cleric, ?G. Played by _Miglasezis_ Your character is giving NG, but I don't want to assume?
Albert was born and raised in Abanasinia region, Solace town. From early days he was a part of monastery and has served in a temple of Mishakal. As a devoted servant of the Light Bringer, he is very modest. During times of trouble he has always spearheaded any attempts to help the innocent. Treating wounds, providing humanitarian aid, cooking meals for the unfortunate. In recent years, the theocratic Seekers have oppressed servitude to other gods other than theirs. Therefore Albert ran from his home town to seek help in other places. Since then he's been wandering and trying to find someone that could help. Description: About 60 year old and very simple man. Has his silvery robes, his staff and everything necessary for travel and prayer. His skin is rather dark from being in the sun a lot and his hair is gray and tied in a ponytail. His mission is to help everyone in need and do no harm as he has seen plenty of harm in his rather long life.
Arvos Quain, Silvanesti Half-Elf Druid, NN Played by Weathervision Good to go!
Arvos hails from the Silvanesti region from the town of Sithelnost. His mother Lyra Greenbough is part of House Gardener in charge of the care and cultivation of the flora in Silvenesti. Though Arvos is her son he was never placed within the clan's records as he was seen as an impure aberration. He never knew his father, though his mother was firm that Arvos last name be Quain instead of Greenbough. At times he catches his mother looking wistfully to the north. Since he could walk Arvos was his mother's little helper as she took care of the plant life and in time, she even taught him how to tap into the magic found in nature. The Chaos Wars were devastating, and it costed him his home. Arvos and his mother fled to the north towards Khur, but in the confusion he was separated from her. No matter how he searched he could not find her and so he decided to stay in Khur and become a mercenary in hopes that he may find some news of his mother.
Bran De Prime, Qualinesti Elf Paladin, LG, Played by Angel_dePrime Good to go!
Bran is a wannabe Knight. His sense of justice and willingness to do good is not in question. His lack of experience is the problem. Bran comes from a known minor noble Fey family, second in line to his Father's House. Friction exists within his family due to he's desire to leave the family home and go into the wilds. This friction has increased lately with rumours of war and the possible return of the Dragon Queen. This has just made Bran more determined to do his part and demonstrate his commitment justice and righteousness.
Darian was born into the Hachakee Tribe, one of the proud and resilient nomadic tribes of Khur. Growing up in the arid deserts and rugged foothills of the Khalkist Mountains, he learned the skills of survival, tracking, and combat from a young age. His father, a renowned hunter and protector of the tribe, instilled in him the values of loyalty, courage, and the importance of safeguarding their people. When Darian was just sixteen, his village was attacked by a raiding party from the Green Dragon Army. The invaders, led by a vicious green dragon, decimated the village, killing many of Darian’s friends and family. In the chaos, Darian witnessed the death of his father, who sacrificed himself to protect the tribe. This traumatic event burned a fierce resolve into Darian’s heart: he would dedicate his life to hunting and destroying the monstrous threats that plagued his people.
Ne'haredowell, Harengon Sorcerer, CG, Played by SunDial365 Good togo!
Drawn to the catastrophes like a moth to a flame, this harengon hails from Mount Nevermind and lived among gnomes in their deep underground burrows. Upon learning the stories of those who were thrown out of the Mage Society, he decided to never even try up that option. Instead, dedicating his life to just being. Hopping from one job to another, he decided to take part in this journey. As a fey creature, he never really found out how he got here. Just there one day and here the next, and just could never go back. Being a tinker in his old life he was able to make enough money for the time being, though he lived on the so called streets a lot. So stealing a bit to survive and never really ever having enough, a job like this sounded like a welcome relief. Especially having felt neither here nor there among the people, so hearing of refugees he took a liking to.
Theodoric Greatshield, Mountain Dwarf Barbarian, LG, Played by fistofcurry Good togo!
Prince Theodoric is the first son of Lord Gundarr Greatshield, king of Thorbardin. He grew up as all nobles should, trained in in the lore of the dwarves and the ways of battle. His life as a dwarf of privilege came to an abrupt end at the age of 42. The miners of Thorbardin unearthed a dreadful evil deep within the mountain. Savage creatures surged from the earth, slaughtering every dwarf they could find. With the dwarven kingdom facing extermination, a desperate plan was hatched. The fort's vault held a relic of an ancient battle, an orb dripping with dark and demonic magic. It would turn anyone who touched it into a mindless, bloodthirsty berserker. They would take volunteers into the mine, imbue them with the berserker curse, and seal them in with the monsters. 50 dwarves volunteered, Theodoric the youngest of them. When they unsealed the mine, only seven remained. But the curse had not finished its work yet. The berserker spirit carried on within the survivors. Their rage made them volatile and dangerous. The dwarven council decided it would not be safe for them to remain in the dwarven lands. Theodoric was removed from the line of succession, and he and the other six survivors were banished from the dwarven realm. Theodoric now roams the land, looking for a way to remove the berserker curse that burns within him.
Wort Ironmaul, Mountain Dwarf Fighter, ??, Played by Deconblu What is your alighment? The fluff is giving LN or LE, but I don't want to assume.
Son of a guild officer of the Ironmongers, Wort enlisted in the standing army and was soon approached by the guild with a task. With the threat of another ogre war ever looming and allies in short supply, Wort was asked to venture out into the world, befriend a band of warriors, adventures any group of people that may be of help in a clan time of need. Earn the trust of this group and see if they might be called upon to help when/if needed.
Ok, look over what I have, and make sure it's right. I want to have a clear understanding of your characters before we proceed to the campaign link.
If you have a note in Bold Green that reads "Good to go!" then consider yourself approved. Just based on that, I have enough players already to start the game, but everyone's worked so hard on their concepts, that I want to grant one extra day to fix what needs fixing. I know I said I'd pass out invite links a few days ago, and that was my intention. But I felt like extra time was earned by those working hard to create some really compelling PCs. That said, tomorrow, 6/25/2024, is the hard deadline. Anyone who's sheet isn't ready by then are welcome to remain on standby as alternates, or come in later in the game if a natural opportunity to present a new player introduces itself.

Albert definitely is NG. I think I put it down in the character sheet as well, but better safe than sorry.

There will probably be opportunities in the game for walk-ins later, MrUncleTio.
Anyway, those of you who finished your character sheets have received your invite link in your private messages.
I know some of you seem confused that I didn't know your alignment or backstories unless they were shared here. I'm not sure why, but I can't access that information on your character sheets. Maybe it's because they aren't linked to my campaign yet? Idk. Maybe we'll know for sure after you join the game. I'm going to change the tag on this thread to Private. Then I suppose we can use this as a kind of OOC thread for now.
Background: I enjoy making characters so my backstories can tend to be long...to sum it up, Rhyden has always been an outsider, his mother was expelled from the Silvanesti Elves once she gave birth to a half-breed. We fled Sithelnost soon after my birth with several other outcast. We roamed the lands beside the Thon-Thalas river for years until an Ogre party attacked us, killing most and chasing the rest of us East into the salt flats of the Burning Lands. I grew up learning what I could from our group and the Khur nomads when they were near. I ended up traveling into the Reorxcrown Mountains spending most of my life in the mountains until I decided to help guide a party of Solamnia Knights out of the mountains which has left in the the land of the Khan of Khur.

Hmmm... we technically closed recruitment again, and we already have a full party. But I like your enthusiasm! If you really want to join, then please make your character sheet public so I can read it. This campaign has been running since June, so a lot has happened since I posted this recruitment thread.

Albert was born and raised in Abanasinia region, Solace town. From early days he was a part of monastery and has served in a temple of Mishakal.

Darian of the Hachakee, Human Ranger, LN, Played by Backstabitha Good to go!
Ne'haredowell, Harengon Sorcerer, CG, Played by SunDial365 Good to go!
Theodoric Greatshield, Mountain Dwarf Barbarian, LG, Played by fistofcurry Good to go!

Wort's is listed as NG...
Sorry it took me so long to get my character information in there. Life did what life likes to do! lol. I’ve updated and added a character sheet.
Looks like you’ve got a good selection, but I’m down for any walk-ons or subs!
Thanks for DMing a game- all us players really appreciate it!
Character: Hastos, Ibahalii Vriwhulth, the Reaper of Glory v2: IC Thread
There will probably be opportunities in the game for walk-ins later, MrUncleTio.
Anyway, those of you who finished your character sheets have received your invite link in your private messages.
I know some of you seem confused that I didn't know your alignment or backstories unless they were shared here. I'm not sure why, but I can't access that information on your character sheets. Maybe it's because they aren't linked to my campaign yet? Idk. Maybe we'll know for sure after you join the game. I'm going to change the tag on this thread to Private. Then I suppose we can use this as a kind of OOC thread for now.

Name: Rhyden Emberforge
Race: Half-Elf (Silvanesti)
Class: Ranger
