It wasn't untilCroak had put on his last sock that he realized how clean and comfortable his clothes were, lifting his disposition. moving up the stairs he hears the party talking of Theodore's disappearance, "Maybe he just got scared and chickened out."
Normand replies; "Just the usuals, retrieve the donations from the shops, give them to the poor, listen to grievances and aid them if possible, evening prayer, then council meeting at the mayor's house. Oh, I should visit John at some point as well. Make sure he's doing well."
Kizori, as you approach the northern side of town, you can tell that the disarray of the structures is from lack of care. It is like a ghost town here. The wood is splintered and worn, the yards are dust, these buildings have been long abandoned.
As you and Eliath move through the street, you realize that there are many eyes upon you, and that this town isn't as abandoned as it looked. You hear sounds of wonder, whispers of amazement, and yells of fear and angry.
A man, smaller in size and stature than you, comes out of the rubble and addresses you. His clothes are tattered, his frame weak with hunger, his eyes worn to the end from despair. "You! Monster! With your stolen priest! What harm do seek to befall us with!?"
It isn't long before Shalech finds his way back to the familiar sight of Han's home; Shadow in the window, stuff cluttered beyond. You knock on the door, and hear the also familiar sound of objects falling, before the approaching footprints of Han. He opens the door with a; "Yes? How may I aid yo... Oh, Shalech. Come in, come in." He backs away to allow you entry. Shadow meows.
Urselles looks at Normand, a question she had been meaning to ask lendering in her eyes, but, in some ways almost seemed wrong, but, ugh, it was “Normand, is giving out all the money to the poor really the best thing we can do, surely with the donations we could at least use some of it to rebuild the community, right”
Kizori seems taken aback by the angry man, "I am tracking a beast from the forest to the South. And she's not stolen, she's my friend." Kizori looks at Eliath incredulously.
Croak notices that the magic sword is still on the table, your hand is almost drawn to it. Dar, makes sure to drop the defenses before Nathan and Shalech leave.
Nathan, you decide to swing by the stables on the way to the church. As you pass the general store, you hear a soft quiet female voice call out to you from behind. "Uh, excuse me. Can you help... no, that's not right. Can I, um, apprentice to you? You... you know magic, right?"
"Sure." Normand says. Lura offers to watch the church as the two of you go to Dar's tower. You pack up your loose gear and begin heading south through town.
Shalech, somehow Han has succeeded at getting you lost. You stand infront of a home that is most definitely not Dar's. Han appears to be trying to approach the door.
Eliath speaks up, almost at the same time as Kizori; "I am not stolen and he's not a monster, he's my friend!" The younger members of the crowd seem unphased, but several of the older ones seem moved.
Kizori looks to Eliath with a shrug, "It's okay Eliath, they don't have to believe, we'll do what we can despite." Kizori turns back to the crowd, and pulls out his wood carved card from the wagon shop, "We are here on business, searching for the creature that destroyed your town. We are trying to help."

Shalech says, "Nathan can fetch Normand, I'll try my luck with Han." He proceeds to go find him.
"He'll be home." Dar adds.
Shalech nods and heads out.

Staying outside, Shalech says, "Actually Han, we need your help in Dar's tower. Could you come?"
"Oh? Okay." Han replies, stepping out in his usual attire. You wonder if he changes clothes at all, or if he just uses magic to clean them.

"We'll figure it out eventually." Normand replies.
Shalech will lead Han back to Dar's tower, making sure to keep reminding him of the task at hand when his mind wanders off.
Urselles sighed "I sure hope we do, actually could we maybe check Dar's place, I'm wondering if my friends are still there"

"The wizards are in town center; feel free to destroy them." The man replies to Kizori.
"I am talking about the giant badger." Kizori seems slightly confused by the townsfolk, as he had never encountered such an angry group before.
