Dar ignores Croaks' comment. "The only structure in those woods is the Wizards Guild Tower." Kizori, in all your years of living in those woods, you have never once seen a single building. To your knowledge it is impossible that there is a tower anywhere in those woods.
"But that's impossible." Dar continues. "Its location is unknown to all save the guild members themselves." Nathan, you feel he is being honest and is uncertain.
“Is it really impossible, everyone in the wizards guild would know about it and since you disbanded it I’m sure a few of them would have been upset and perhaps seemed revenge”

"But what about the threat at hand? Are we gonna magically bind the beast or do things the old fashioned way. As it stands, this is a threat to everyone."
Anxious, Croak strikes a match and lights a cigarette.
"Oh, oh yes." Dar replies. He flips to almost the end of his book; and closely reads the arcane text. "Right." He says closing the book. He raises his hands and begins making grandiose arcane movements. Arcane symbols begin to form around his arms, one after another until they begin to pile up on each other.
Dar's stance staggers a bit; but he holds true; swet beading down his face. The runes continue to pile up until they begin to blur into each other. Dar looks physically drained as he almost screams with effort; blurring the runes and symbols together until his arms are covered with energy.
He places both arms upon the creature and states; "Dispelled." The magic flows into the beast and across it's body. And like a bubble the magic pops.
The entire area has a radiance of magical energy, as the magic from the spells scatters across the town. A faint, almost burned smell fills the air; like someone was burning a spellbook in the distance.
The creature infront of you slowly shrinks to its original brown furred form. Dar stands there winded and swetting.
"That..." Dar breathes heavily. "Is called making sure the spell is broken." Breathing. "I had to use the highest level of that spell I knew, to guarantee that it would succeed." Additional heavy breathing. He leans heavier onto his metal leg. "We are dealing with powerful foes."
Kizori, you finally get back to your feet after having been knocked to the ground by the now former dragon. The now badger quickly digs a burrow into the crater it built in its larger form.
"So we've put a bandage on the symptom. Can we start dealing with the actual problem? Ghosts, dragon-badgers, thieves.... me. Seems this town is under siege."
Dar smiles at Croaks' comment; before hearing Shalech's words and responding. "You are correct, I think something may be up; I'm going to go talk to the mayor. Go tell Normand that there is an emergency council meeting; he'll gather the rest." Dar says before heading towards the mayor's house. As he passes Isa he adds; "And get her out of town."
Kizori seems confused at the commotion between the others, "What is this all about? There are no towers in those woods. I stalked them for years." He scratches his head.
Shalech says to the others, "Lets continue to Isa's house and see if we can find any evidence of this 'ghost'. Then we can figure out where to send Isa..."
Nathan was paying close attention to what Dar was doing, and he is visibly impressed. "That was quite something. I have never seen such a powerful spell cast before, we have to be extremely careful with our foes - I wonder how everything that we have seen are related. As far as Isa is concerned, maybe she could go to my former master, Thasiramus, where I used to be an apprentice in Oakenhill. It is a very safe town, and Dar knows Thasiramus well."
Rather sheepishly, Croak removes a glove and extends his hand, with his head bowed. "My apologies Miss Isa, I am Croak. My last name is fake and of no significance. At your service." He gives a toothy smile as he speaks.
"Bring me there and I will turn into a even bigger dragon, that would solve our problems!"

"I can take her there. I have never been, and I don't know much about magic and ghosts." Kizori adjusts his straps nervously, following the others.
"How far is the trip?" Isa asks.
"I don't think that Isa should leave what little protection we can provide. We still need to go to her house, which was the plan before this mishap."
