Shalech nods to the two newcomers and says, "I'm Shalech. We can introduce ourselves as we head to Isa's. If we stay out here too long, some other strange occurrence will waylay us further."
Kizori begins examining the architecture of the smithy, it's layout and design, he takes mental notes of it's load bearing walls and beams, before moving on to examining the forge. "Interesting."
As Isa, Nathan, and Kizori walk in, they see Klandar behind the anvil, pounding away against a half melted piece of metal. His stout dwarven form silhouetted by the flames of the forge behind him. His hair and beard are long and braided; blacked with soot from the ash descending from the flames.
The structure is sound; thick pillars for support, but with large areas open for air flow. His house appears to be attached to the smith, but even more sealed off; likely can barely hear the forge in there.
To the left you hear someone, and quickly see a young boy carrying heavy buckets of water to Klandar. Though the human child looks young, likely early teens, he is very muscular and must have been an apprentice here for some time.
A female voice calls out from behind him; but what is said is drowned out by the forge and the hammering. You can't currently see whomever the voice belongs to.
Isa speaks up; "Klandar! Council Meeting!". The dwarf doesn't appear to hear her.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Croak posts up outside the blacksmith shop. He takes the time to look around at neighboring buildings and townfolk. Giving a smile and nod to anyone making eye contact, almost completely unaware that he might seem strange.
Kizori's eyes widen as he sees the dwarf forging, "A dwarf, AND he's making something!" Kizori is awestruck for a moment to, before regaining his composure. He rushes over and begins asking the dwarf, what he's doing, what he's making, why does he do it that way, do dwarf women have beards, why do dwarves live in the mountains instead of on them.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Klandar says. "Someone want to get their pet; it's slobbering all over me." He says; referring to Kizori. He is completely removed from view of the rest of the group; hidden by Kizori's shell. Kizori, you see the dwarf back away a few paces; unsure what to do with you.
Croak, you find yourself at the edge of town; with only a few houses farther along the road to the west. To the south are a few more houses, all pretty old and moderately well kept. Han can be seen outside the nearest one, door open, petting a cat; before he enters the home.
The house beyond is large and flashy, probably the biggest house in town. A wizard tower can be seen farther south; and at the end of the road, you can see Kitta's house in the distance.
The building next door to the blacksmith's has a strong smell of tanned leather. Looking over you see through the front windows various articles of clothing, numerous leather pouches, bags, backpacks, and even armor.
Looking at the shop beyond it, you recognize the jewelry shop; the jeweler is just outside his door; waving and motioning for you to come over.
Kendrick smiles; "Yeah, all the pieces will be reusable." He holds out a small pouch of coins towards Croak. "200 gold, the sell value of the material. Thank you for bringing these to me." After handing you the gold he adds; "As for John; I'm going to take him under my wing. He's got a lot of potential."
Shalech looks to Croak, "200 gold, for giving him something that didn't even belong to us. It's your lucky day. Lets go see if Isa is done with this smith."
"Meant no disrespect Mr Kizori; but you can't come rushing up on people like that, especially not to a dwarf at his forge." He sidesteps a few feet to look around you. "Isa; what's this about?"
Isa replies; "Well, I saw the little one outside first; welcoming her to this town and telling her about the Orc prints that Joran found, and the now former haunted house, and..." Klandar cuts her off; "The point Isa." But she continues; "...Then Dar threw a surprise party; but we didn't know that Tamm was hiding under the..."
"Get to the point Isa." Klandar cuts her off again. "...and the trail leads to the woods; evidently to the..." She continues before being cut off again. She and Klandar get more frustrated each times Klandar cuts her off.
"Damn it woman, just skip to the end already!" He bellows at her. In frustration she replies in a huff; "Dar is calling an emergency council meeting and needs you to gather everyone. Normand should be at Dar's place."
Klandar sighs and calls out; "Terrin, you and Garrett finish this; I've got Council business." He then begins taking off his apron and hands off his hammer to a musclar female as she enters the room. The young woman, average in height, has the build of someone that has been working here for at least a decade.
Isa follows Klandar out; and then motions for the group to follow as she starts to head out of town; still in a huff about her gossip getting cut off.
She eagerly accepts your hand, with a giddy honoured look on her face. "Oh, yes. Isa, Isa Norada. An honor to meet you."
"Hullo, I'm Kizori!" The tortle waves gingerly, following behind, his constant smile on his face.
"Hello Kizori." Isa replies.
Shalech nods to the two newcomers and says, "I'm Shalech. We can introduce ourselves as we head to Isa's. If we stay out here too long, some other strange occurrence will waylay us further."
With that said the group starts to head towards Isa's. As they pass the Blacksmith shop; Isa remembers that Dar had just called a Council meeting.
She stops and says; "I've got to let Klandar know where Normand is and about the meeting; I'll be one moment.", and then walks into the smithy.
Nathan follows her into the smithy, just in case... you can never know in this town!

Shalech will head over to the jewelry shop (I'm guessing with Croak).
"Ayyyye buddy... Any luck with them counterfeits?
Croak stays almost half-way between the jewelry shop and the blacksmith

"I know, it will be a challenge; but the quality of the work is enough to be worth the effort." Kendrick replies before heading back to his shop.
"I'm not a pet. I'm Kizori. Sorry for dropping." Kizori smiles and waves.

Kizori stands awkwardly waiting to figure out which way to go, or what to say.
