Nathan, as you move past the pine trees, you find a cave twisting into the hill. You turn the bend and find Theodore standing in darkness. Moments later light appears on his hand and the cave lights up.
A shoddy stonework takes up all of the left wall of a poor hallway; the right side is pure cave wall, and opens into a side area. You also see a possible chamber at the end of the hall. There is no noise until the light is cast; at which point you hear a stirring deep in the nearby chamber.
