-Character Class and Subclass: Ranger (With plan to multiclass after level 5)
-Character Background and Backstory: In the heart of Eldertree Forest within the Forgotten Realms lies Sylverwood, a secluded wood elven village where young Glaben Swiftarrow grew up under the tutelage of his parents, esteemed hunters Elandril and Thalia Swiftarrow. This tranquil existence was shattered when a band of frost giants invaded, leading to the tragic death of Glaben’s parents. Consumed by grief and a desire for vengeance, Glaben vowed to avenge his parents and protect his people. Under the guidance of Sylverwood's elders, he became a skilled ranger, determined to guard the forest and seek justice against the frost giants. Now, Glaben roams the woodlands as a sentinel, facing new challenges and allies, driven by his quest for retribution within the rich tapestry of the Forgotten Realms.
-Preferred starting level and why? I am good with any starting level. I like 5 because of the multiple attacks and more spell options.
-Character Name and Pronouns: please try to not do a dumb name. This is a chill game, but not one for joke characters. And all pronouns and sexualities are welcome here
-Character Class and Subclass: Multi-classing is allowed. Build your character to level 3 for now

-Character Name and Pronouns: Nyxit Altahal (he/him)
-Character Race and Subrace (if applicable) - Pixie (Fairy/Pixie)
-Character Class and Subclass: Warlock (Fiend) Lvl 3
-Character Background and Backstory:
Nyxit Altahal, a male Pixie with striking violet wings and glowing green eyes, was always an outcast among his kind. Born different from the others, he possessed a darkness within him that never quite fit in with the whimsical nature of his people. Despite this, Nyxit found solace in the shadows and mysteries of the world around him.
One fateful night, while wandering through a dense forest on the outskirts of Pixie territory, Nyxit stumbled upon an ancient tome hidden within a decaying tree trunk. Drawn to its dark energy like a moth to flame, he opened its pages and made a pact with a fiendish entity known only as Malumbras. In exchange for power beyond his wildest dreams, Nyxit agreed to serve as Malumbras' loyal servant and spread chaos and destruction wherever he went.
As Nyxit's powers grew stronger over time, so too did his thirst for knowledge and mastery over forbidden magics. With each passing day, he delved deeper into the depths of arcane lore contained within the Tome of Shadows. Now known far and wide as Nyxit Altahal, warlock of the fiend and bearer of dark magic unlike any other Pixie before him, he roams the land in search of new challenges to test his abilities against - all in service to his nefarious patron.
-Preferred starting level and why? I'm ok with 3 but lvl 5 would allow for better character build

-Character Background and Backstory: Etorow was born into the Judgehand Hobgoblin band, which was long allied with a small city on the coasts of Faerun. Within the city was a church dedicated to Hoar, the god of justice. While he had never personally partook in the churches teachings, he became friends with a priest in training around his age, a human boy named Simon. The two would do most things together, often playing games where they were a team fighting monsters when they had breaks. They each had their methods of training as they grew, Simon focusing on their worship of hoar, while Etorow was taught the ways of any weapon the clan had at their disposal. By the time they had reached young adulthood, they were two of the most aspiring students of their respective groups.
However, many things would change when a band of raiders attacked the city, looking to pillage supplies from the small undefended city. Flames engulfed the streets, Judgehands and Worshippers of Hoar attempting to fight off the assault as best as they could. Etorow was separated from his friend in the chaos, resolving to find him after the battle, should he not fall during it. By the end of the day, many were lost. And while the raiders would be driven off, it would not come without sacrifices. When he had finally found Simon, the scene was far from pretty. Blood drenched the tiled floors of the church, priests and warriors littering the floors. He would find his friend hidden in a small closed off room with a few of the other younger initiates. All other priests of the church had been slaughtered, including the head priest and simon's father. As he consoled his friend, Etorow could feel his own anger rising, the scent of blood caking the air and walls of the once sacred place. Late into the night, he would disappear into the woods while everyone slept, taking with him nothing more than a warhammer, a set of blessed spikes he had grabbed from the church, and a short dagger.
This wouldn't be the last night stained with blood that Etorow would experience, but it was the first. Late into the morning, nearly the noon hours he was missing, before one of the watchguards spotted him coming from the forest, a sack slung over his shoulder with only the dagger left in his possession. He spoke little as he pushed past the guards, heading to the church, where Simon greeted him with worry in his voice. Any concerns though, Etorow simply waved them off, calmly setting the sack on the ground. He took simons hands, setting the dagger in them, speaking of justice being enforced, and to worry only of taking care of funeral rites. He handed off the sack to a few nearby guards, who would discover the severed heads of several raiders, including the leader, inside. though, in the end, nobody would discover the burned raider camp within the depths of the forest, the headless bodies of the raiders nailed to tree's within.
A few weeks would pass, the city being rebuilt. Simon, as the eldest of the students left, was to become the head priest, with his newly sworn in Justicar by his side.
-Preferred starting level and why? 5-7, since it's a little stronger than 3rd, but not super busted like some of the higher levels. Plus it gets most people at least 1 additional subclass feature
-Bonus thing: tell which one you chose, if you did choose one. (See above) The sun forger Warhammer
-Character Name and Pronouns: Gerith De Prime (He / Him)
-Character Race and Subrace (if applicable): Githyanki
-Character Class and Subclass: Warlock - Hexblade
-Character Background and Backstory: Gerith likes to stand out and is rather social which is at odds given has already been involved in various mercenary battles and groups but has never found his rightful place. Been charismatic he has somewhat an attitude regarding himself that sometimes puts him at odds with other people. But he's furiously loyal to those he considers kin and has been known to devote significant time and effort into supporting those he trusts. Battle has a way of hardening the things that matter. Hence he is currently wandering and is currently sitting in a tavern in Waterdeep hoping to find a new group of adventures to make his mark.
-Preferred starting level and why?: Currently built Gerith to Lvl 4 - IMO this gives the right foundation and mix of ability to get a character started that meets a happy medium of sorts. Noting already, many of said 3 to 5, I've gone with 4 and recommend 4 to meet that middle ground of survivability and sustainability.
-Bonus thing: tell which one you chose, if you did choose one : I went with magical item: Mithral Plate, 'looks good" Gerith is a bit of a show pony and makes him stand out but also adds to staying alive!
Hiya~! I think this might be a little bit late, but I like the concept a lot and figured I'd put an application out there incase you wanted another player! :D
-Character Name and Pronouns: Isabella (She/Her)
-Character Race and Subrace: V. Human
-Character Class and Subclass: Abjuration Wizard
-Character Background and Backstory: Astral Drifter Background. (W/ or w/o the feat from it).
Isabella was born into a noble family, growing up in a grand estate alongside her sister, Marryanne. From a young age, Isabella was quiet and reserved, rarely crying and often lost in her own thoughts. Her sister was her closest companion, and the two shared a deep bond, spending countless hours exploring the estate's library and gardens.
Tragedy struck one fateful night when a horrifying event claimed Marryanne's life and left Isabella on the brink of death, her vocal chords having been ripped from her throat, leaving her silenced and mute. The specifics of that night are known only to Isabella, as she has never spoken of it, and her silence became a permanent reminder of the trauma she endured. The loss devastated her family, and Isabella became the sole focus of her parents' affections, though the attention did little to fill the void left by her sister's absence.
Determined to find solace and strength, Isabella turned to the study of magic. Her natural affinity for the arcane arts led her to enroll in a prestigious magical university at the age of 16. There, she faced additional challenges, including the need to modify her spellcraft to accommodate her inability to speak. Despite the bullying and ridicule she faced from other students, Isabella persevered, dedicating herself to the rigorous study and practice of abjuration magic.
One day, Isabella was cornered by a group of more powerful mages who had long mocked her for her noble background and perceived weaknesses. They cast a spell on her—one she did not recognize—which shunted her to the Astral Plane. In a state of panic and unable to call for help, Isabella found herself adrift in the vast, alien expanse of the Astral Plane. For a time, she was lost and alone, her silence amplifying her sense of isolation and despair.
Eventually, she encountered another drifter, a seasoned traveler of the Astral Plane, who took pity on her and taught her how to navigate the strange and dangerous realm. With their guidance, Isabella learned to traverse the stars and eventually found her way to a place of relative safety, her feet touching solid ground for the first time in what felt like an eternity. This experience left her both wiser and more determined, having faced her fears and survived the unthinkable.
-Bonus thing: tell which one you chose, if you did choose one. (See above): Okay so the main thing about this character is that she is a mute, Wizard spells are rough to only use non-verbal components, so I would request a Homebrew Feat Below:
Voiceless
Prerequisite: Wizard class, and Mute
You're extensive study into the arcane allows you to modify your spells to alter how they are cast:
You gain 10 sorcery points to spend on Metamagic, provided this metamagic is the Subtle Spell to remove verbal components (these points are added to any sorcery points you have from another source but can be used only on Subtle Spell usage). You regain all spent sorcery points when you finish a long rest.
Okay, that's it for this character! Thank you! ♥

Backstory: Deep in the Labyrinth of a great and evil Lich lived a small warband of Minotaur warriors who protected the Labyrinth from adventurers attempted to plunder and steal the many magical treasures of the Lich. Of this warband was a great leader and celebrated hero among them known for his savagery and cunning in battle. Agony Deathbellow; One day as the hero of the empire worked his way through the labyrinth slaying everything in his path the Lich made an offer to Agony. Seeing great waste in such a fine warrior simply be lost to the ages he used his magic to create a construct of metal and other materials powered by a powerful Fire gem created from the heart of a dragon to house Agony's soul we're he to pass defending his lord. As a fierce battle broke out the Lich made the finishing touches and as Agony fell to the hero's blade and darkness befell him, his soul was transferred to the construct. In the process of being activated and reviving a portal opened up and dropped him off in a back alleyway of Sigil. Unfortunately something went awry with the process of soul transfer and some memories were lost and now he must learn about this strange land, what happened to his comrades and lord and what new foes must fall before him.
Preferred starting level: 4 makes sense with some lost memories and any higher would be a little crazy.
