"Nothing impressive today. A few trout, some walleyes... I caught some catfish and a pike, but they were all very young and small, so I threw them back to let them grow. I also found a few little trinkets, but I must wash them off and sort them before selling anything. How does tuppence sound for one of my larger catches?"

“That sounds fair to me,” I say with a smile, happy to at the very least having food by moral means vs having to steal them. The last bit of food he had was stale leftover bread he managed to ‘snatch.’ “I was unaware you fished for trinkets as well.”
"Oh, yes. Many items were lost to the flood, and there is quite the market for forgotten things. At least, enough to keep me satisfied. I sell at the Old Hounskull Market each Sunday. If you've the time and some spare money, perhaps you would come by? If you are in the market for such things." He begins wrapping up the fish in some old newspaper, and hands them to Oscen. "The equipment is all paid for already. Give Stenlin my thanks!"

“I shall!” Oscen replies, smiling as he give him thanks before stepping away. As Oscen leaves, he rubs a little at his throat, the dry sensation from before feeling rather strange. He considers it for a moment as he walks back before deciding to head for that flower he saw before, desiring to take a closer look at it.
Oscen takes a moment to just stare at it, taking it in and trying to recall the dream from the night before. “Please…” He says to the flower, staring at it with a sense of desperation. “Please let me feel that way again…” He would stay there for a few moments longer before he eventually starts his way back to Mssr. Stanlin’s.
Oscen feels a sense of worry as he feels the thing shift inside him. ‘What…what was that…?’ He asks himself, looking around for a moment to see if anyone else was around. If there was, he would make his way to an alleyway or somewhere more private. If no one else was around, he would try and force whatever was inside of him up and out.
Oscen dips into an alley, and attempts to force whatever it was up. At first, it feels like nothing. Then, there is... a presence. Something spherical and hard, lodged in his throat. He concentrates, and pushes...
Something resembling a peach pit emerges from Oscen's mouth, and tumbles into his hands. A small sprout emerges from its end, telling Oscen that it has already begun germinating.

There is a sort of... buzz in the air. As he brings the seed closer, Oscen realizes that it's... ringing? Singing? He can't tell.
A Discovery! +Burgeoning Seedling
It is...Morning, Monday, 6th of Augensrain, 1847at...an alley off Barleycorn Street, Wash District, Atrament, the Empire.
Oscen looks at it with shock and awe, holding it rather tenderly in his hand. He brings it closer to his ear to listen to it as he gently whispers towards it. “Are you from my dream? Is there a reason you were inside of me?” Oscen keeps it close to his ear for a moment, before moving it away from his ear and gingerly carrying it back along with the catch for Mssr. Stanlin.
The return to Stenlin's is uneventful, besides Oscen's emetic interlude. Stenlin greets Oscen as he enters, and smiles when he sees the fish. "Big one, there. Put it in the icebox? Today looks to be slow, I'll call if I need you."

Oscen nods, taking the fish to the icebox as quickly as he could. He then heads back behind the shop, holding the seed gingerly. “Let’s get you somewhere to grow, little one…” he gently whispers to it, looking around for some good soil to plant the seed into.
Good soil is not particularly easy to come by in the Rote. Oscen is really only able to find a few lumps of dirt outside, and maybe a spare bowl to toss them in.
Where is he trying to plant the seed?

Oscen buries the seed in a little bowl of dirt, feeds it a bit of water, and places it near his bed.
Does Oscen have any other plans for the rest of the day? Business is generally slow at the ship-chandlery, and especially slow today.
