The hobgoblin is hit by radiant light and a spike of steal. He slowly drops to his knees trying to get the dart out of his face.

YAY WIN!

The room is more like a corridor 20 feet wide and 80 feet long. At the end there are appears to be 6 alcoves.

Ember will retrieve his dart; wiping it on the hobgoblin's clothing.  "It appears we have further choices to make.  Who is feeling adventurous?"

Each alcove has a humanoid shape in it. The ones on the ends have alcoves for shorter humanoids, or maybe children.

"I've got it," shrugged Nico as he magically cleaned his blades before sheathing them. He then walked over to investigate the alcoves.

Yes, they do indeed look like you could all fit.

Ember sighs as he rummages about in his pack and pouches.  Finally finding what he was seeking, he unwrapped a vial of red liquid;  popped the seal and drank the liquid.

Potion of Healing - 5

Ember smiles as the potion does it's job and the chest wound slowly glows as if it were a coal in a firepit; sealing over and new flesh leaving a tiny scar as the 'fire' cools.   Looking about, he leaps into the air and flies toward the alcove to see what he might see from a different angle.

(rolled a 1 for investigation) Otho joins the others in there investigation, not picking anything up, but gesturing if he should step through/into the alcoves. "Or should we make are way to the other room?"

 They are definitely, without any doubt, humanoid shaped alcoves. 

The bard couldn't help but laugh. "Look! They're shaped like people!" Another laugh. "I guess we're supposed to stand in 'em? Maybe the wall will swing around if we do, kinda like some secret room?"

"We could. But..." Nico stepped right in front of (but not yet in) one of the alcoves, eyes shining. "Ain't ya itchin' to see where it goes?"

"Well if you want to give it a shot, go for it. Running threw the beads turned out ok" Grey says with a smile. He will then cast Blessing of Moradin on Nico, in case it helps.

Grumbling after missing the hobgoblin, Anton swings his axe over his shoulder and follows the others down the hall to the alcoves. “What, do you think we all have to stand in these things for something to happen? After you..” he gestures to Nico, eyes alert for any danger.   

Otho chuckles at the bards excitement. “Ay ay, lest we turn tail and runaway I think forward is always going to be the best option with this band of heroes!” He stands in front of one of the alcoves ready to move forward with the others. 

Grinning, Nico steps into one of the 4 main alcoves, then turns to face the others, fitting himself into the humanoid-shaped space.

"When in Waterdeep... ", Ember seems to agree as he lands next to a 'his sized' alcove.  "What's the worst that can happen?" 

He asks as he adjusts his shield on his arm and manuevers his staff to fit into the space.

The alcove spins in place and you fin yourself before a room divided into a checkerboard pattern.

Each square is 5 feet by 5 feet. On the line between H4 and H5 stands a statue. One hand holds a longsword, the other hand is pointing across the room.

You are on the right side of the board.

Nico has 1A right in front of him.

Ember has 2A right in front of him.

Otho has has 3A right in front of him.
