Ember's head jerks up and toward where Anton is peeking around the corner and up the northern hallway.
"Do it... NOW." The wildfire spirit fox leaps forward and lands next to Anton.
Fiery Teleportation
Fiery Teleportation. The spirit and each willing creature of your choice within 5 feet of it teleport up to 15 feet to unoccupied spaces you can see. Then each creature within 5 feet of the space that the spirit left must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 1d6 + PB fire damage.
In an eyeblink and a woosh of fire, Anton and the fox spirit disappear only to reappear 15 feet away from that side of the room, near the two rubble mounds.
Nico's eyes widened as the boulder crashed. He looked from Ember to her spirit fox to Anton and back. "A'ight... quick thinkin', Ember. I kinda hope that's the last trap? I agree, if we finish this tower real quick, we should be able to head back outside for a rest."
Taking the initiative, the bard peeked around the corner to see if any further boulders came their way.
(( If not, he'll head down the corridor and look around the corner at the end. ))
As soon as the boulder is swallowed by the pit, another boulder rolls down the hall. It moves to 30 feet so you can out run it, but there is no way to dodge it as it fills the corridor.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Nico cursed, then turned and ran back down the hallway in front of the oncoming boulder. As he reached the corner, he turned and dove to the side to let the boulder roll past.
Razzec waits until Nico is out of the way and slashes at the boulder with his Glaive, hoping to scar the side closest to the party to see if it's the same boulder(s) or new ones.
Grey will take a few of the skulls from the rubble piles and toss them into the middle of the hallway. "Go ahead and trigger the boulder, let's see what it does, if anything, to those skulls."
Razzec leans just enough around the corner to see if a boulder is coming or not and says, "Guess I'll be the test subject on this one." And then quickly readies himself to pull back out of the way of the boulder, just in case...
"Are they just playin' us for fools?!" groaned Nico as he watched Razzec and Grey test the boulder. His eyes widened as Razzec then leaned into the path the rocks came down, but he waited with the others to watch the result.
Another boulder comes crunching and rumbling down the corridor, but nothing happens to the skulls on the ground.
Razz comes to no harm.
"Illusory boulders. Of all the dirty tricks!" With a definite air of defiance about him, Nico started walking back around the corner and down the corridor the boulders came from, determined to see what was at the end of the passageway.
"There's another door!" called out Nico. "And it's got that same square in the middle, too!"
Which set the bard to thinking. Would they have to get all four bars--keys, really--and use them all at once on a single door to open it? Or maybe placing one key into some position into each square simultaneously would open them all? Probably the first, but either way... they found what they needed, and how to get there. It was probably time to rest, and then find the others.
He walked back towards the rest of the party, and decided to spend a bit of magic to show them a full-size replica of the door, floating in mid-air.
"It's there; I didn't try to open it, but I reckon I couldn't anyway. Now that we know how ta get to this one, maybe we should rest and then look for the other two?"
Ember's head jerks up and toward where Anton is peeking around the corner and up the northern hallway.

"Boulder!" yelled Nico in warning.
The bard then immediately began another incantation, and used Misty Step to teleport to the other side of the oncoming stone.

You mean further up the passage closer to the boulders origin or back the way you came? You can just back up if it's to go back the way you came.
