Ember will float back down and report. .. 50 ft. and a trap door. He did NOT try to work the door. He figured someone with trap checking and removal skills - and perhaps - unlocking skills might be the one to go up first.
"And it is still in that swirling mist. I can fly along side and cover their back as they work on the trap door... just in case."
(( as can his wildfire spirit hawk... though it is only an hour... so I have zero clue on how much of that hour has passed since it was last called out to play ))
Razzec looks at the trapdoor to see if there are any sings of heat or fire or water on the other side of the door. He's trying to see if it opens upwards or down. Right before he goes to open it, he stops and says "Think I should secure myself to the ladder just in case there's any issues once I open this thing?" to Ember while checking out the trapdoor.
"Tell everyone it's open and I'll wait for them before I start going through the trapdoor." Razzec says to Ember as he starts untying himself from the ladder and trying to listen for anything on the other side of the door.
Ember nods and drops down until he reaches the others. "Razzec opened the trapdoor as smooth as a pebble. He is climbing up and in right now. He asked for all to follow."
Ember parallels the groups climb so they have some light as they go upward.
Razzec relays what he sees as he climbs up through the door and wipes off the dirt from his armor. He looks around trying to get a sense of any immediate dangers.
Still looking around, Razzec asks Ember, "Can you make any sense of this? If not I say we go right and alsotryto mark where we've been so we don't get lost here."
Like a corn maze, there are turns and turns right, left, T intersections, + intersections, and deadends.
Further exploration brings you to a clearing, where there is a robed figure with their back to you tending a bed of roses. You hear a feminine voice humming a beautiful tune - not magically enchanting, just pleasing to listen to. They are about 30 feet away.

Razzec says "I can do the climbing and checking the door if there's no better option. I'm not sure who all has lockpicking or trapfinding skills."
The door looks old and maybe a little stuck but no traps or locks.

Ember flutters nearby as he keeps shifting his focus from watching Razzec mess with the trapdoor to watching the swirling mists.
Produce Flame "For a little more light up here."
{{OOC - do you want me to roll him an Athletics check or Strength check for the trapdoor?}}
Not needed, you can open the door freely if you want.

Grey will head up the ladder, with a quick blessing on himself, just in case!

Opening the door results in a shower of moist rich soil.
Looking around shows a row of bushes, tree, and vines reaching 30 feet high. There is a corridor made up of the plants.

It is basically a 30 by 20 foot "room" with two exit corridors. One straight ahead, and one to the right.

Grey will cast light on a bush or vine near the right exit. "This will last for an hour so if we see it, we know we've come back."
