Finally back at Dragon Rest, you split up to change your clothes, the ones you've been wearing are covered in soot. Kilnip one of the kobolds offers to take your clothes down to the hot spring to clean them. Apparently it is wash day, so all of the kobolds are stringing out clothes and bed linen to dry, the washing line is threaded through the Dragon statues claws, the clothing like white flags. Strangely enough the robes with the litany on are totally free of stains.
You give Tarak the mushrooms, both the morel and the heart cap mushrooms. They are good just what he was looking for, a few healing potions and an elixir of health would be made of them. Shayla, if you want those hides tanned for making boots, go and see Myla, she may even offer to make the boots for you, she's a good cobbler. Veneer do you want to help me make healing potions?
Trilaxa nods and announces I'm going to do some more research, I'll be in the library. See you all at lunch.
You pass the kitchen and there is a delicious smell of roasting chicken and fresh bread. Agga and Mumpo are wearing aprons and standing on chairs to reach the worksurface. You wonder if you are included in the rotation of cooks.
Krack will volunteer to help the other kobolds with the laundry. He is very interested in the best way to keep his robe as white as possible. He will also converse with the other kobolds about any subjects they want, but always, perhaps subconsciously steering it towards dragons and flying!
Here take this you should have two anyway. He hands Krack another white robe .They are all resistant to staining, a simple enchantment on all of the robes. We wash them because of sweat smells. We use Oyster shell soap with wild rosemary oil. Wash it through in the big spring then soap it all up in the small one, the water naturally cleans itself as the riverlet goes down to the sea.
Barakas
Walks up to the Temple, smiling at the washing line being threaded through dragon statues along the way, all except the statues of Bahamut. Runara is in the library, and neither cleric is here to eavesdrop. You feel the peace of the place.
As he reaches the temple he kneels in front of the statue of the Bahamut. Sighs softly as the cold breeze touches his horns. He then looks back at the statue, red eyes beaming at it, but this time not yelling but puffy. "Thank you a lot. I'm not sure if it was you, I was never the one to believe in God or something, but I'm proud I came here." His eyes look down for a second "I hope I can keep of use to you. I want to grow stronger to help others. Do you know of any species, races, that are lonesome around here or are outlasted? That I could help with?"
When they land he waits for the others to get off the boat then stands there wondering what to do.
He looks at barakas, then Shayla. Wondering which to follow. Seeing barakas go and pray. He turns to Shayla and waits for her. Shifting his feet, hands behind his back.
The priestess walks to the side of the temple not to disturb Barakas. She kneels in quiet prayer, "Thank you Raei, Thank you Bahamut. I faced adversity with my companions and did so with discipline and a lack of anger. I admit to feeling fear for their well being but we came through thanks to your good will."

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Theodor wanders to the beach where they first landed on Stormwreck Isle. Kneels down and bows his head. He feels his connection to Bahamut, communes with the Platinum Dragon and makes an Oath.
"I will be honest, my word is my promise. I will be courageous, act in the face of fear. I will act with compassion, and protect those who cannot protect themselves. I make an oath of honor, do as much good as I can and the least amount of harm. I will do my duty, acting in the name of Bahamut."
Barakas appeals to Bahamut to show him the underdogs here on the island or nearby. In his mind is the picture of Myla, the winged kobold, they are normally ostracized from the clan. That and the heavy scarring on her wings that had almost stripped her of the ability to fly. Most of the kobolds here have no other clan, they have been exiled for one reason or another. Every kobold was a sad story. Here they are treated as one of a greater clan, that of Bahamut.
Shayla
Shayla gives Barakas some room and uses a small dragon statue as her place to pray. Afterwards she goes to her room to strip off the soot covered surcoat. There she finds a plain blue robe so she has something to change into until her own is clean again. She still has some hides to treat before they go bad. They have already made blood stains in her pack. Maybe she needed to launder that as well.
Theodor
On making his oath Theodor noticed that his surcoat lit up with the litany singing in his head.
He looks back at the statue and nods affirmatively. As he walks out the room and keeps remebering Myla and Krack, and anger fills him, but as he feels the presence of his robe he gets calm again. Whispering he says "I guess I finally will be allowed to have some fun." He will try to talk to Tarak to know about the best place to talk to the locals and gather information.
Tarak was working hard in the garden, where had all the weeds come from? Looked like Blep had not weeded for days. No matter, no doubt he'd have a good excuse. He hoed between the beds, carefully pulling out an armful of carrots for the kitchen. It gave him a quiet time to be himself. This afternoon he'd get out his retort and start the process for simple healing potions, the ruby morel was a wonderful gift.
Myla was helping hang out the wash, flying up to the statues to tie the laundry lines, then flying sheets and robes up to them and pegging them there.
Watches the others pray and glares at the statue, whispering under his breath "if you truly exist. You'll show me first hand. Only then will I believe." He storms off to his room and closes the door.
During lunch he slips out and heads to the tables, sitting down with everyone else, his mask left behind. He keeps his hood up and head down, but anyone looking hard enough sees the red gleam his eyes give off. He simply picks at his food, not very hungry.
Glancing up he looks around at everyone. And opens his mouth to speak, but closes it again and stares at his food.
As he hears the bell he walks down to get some food. He then walks toward Tarak and says in cants "The skies look great today. I wonder if birds enjoy it. Would love to hear them sing." meaning "I heard winged Kobolds are not everyone's favorite. Is there anywhere I can gather the reason behind it and who is responsible for it." If Myla is in the room he would avoid making eye contact with her.
