"What would be in these barrels?" Theodor posits the question, not really expecting an answer. He grabs the crowbar from the bench and tries to open one of the barrels.
Shayla for each barrel a party member opens roll a 1d6 to determine what was inside. 6 of the barrels seem to be intact. You could take it in turns.
Theodor watches for any more surprises. The ghoul was very unexpected, there might be more. He looks at the hole in the deck, something fell from the captains cabin all the way down into the Hold. He can hear nothing below them in the water.
Shayla lifts the straw out of the way and finds five bottles of fine wine. The sixth bottle is broken. They are worth 10GP each.
The hole in the deck is the size of a small chest, and looking closer Shayla sees a chest in the seawater below. There are stairs leading downwards. The hold is totally submerged, you'd need to use one of the three potions that Tarak had made for you.
Theodor bends to the task of opening the nearest barrel, the lid creaks open and in the straw he finds a pair of silver candlesticks with bone carving resembling dragons. They are worth 25GP each.
Barakas lifted the lid and pulled out straw. Just like Shaylas barrel there are five bottles of fine wine. He holds it up to the light and sees a rich deep red rich colour. It is worth 10GP each, though maybe better shared with friends rather than sold.
Everyone notices where the ghoul was pulling Shayla towards the hole. The stairs leading down into the hold are behind you. Tarak gave you 3 potions of water breathing. You have the choice of going down the stairs and exploring the hold. That small chest may have the solution to the undead plague. There doesn't look like anyone is there.
OOC Trilaxa has left the game, I will modify the difficulty.
"So it looks like we need to go underwater a bit. There are four of us, and three potions. Does anyone not want to go in the water? I can keep you three cover with my bow from up here with beans if you all wish to go in, but I also don't mind going in the water with my sword if anyone was against going into the water themselves."
He sighs crosses his arms and places the bottle back on the barrel. He picks his coin now with this tail and flips a coin with it "If it's it comes heads I don't go in." As he flips the coin he steals one of the potions with his tail and jumps into the hole "I'm sorry but I'm eager to go."
If someone picks up the coin, they are a special coin, having the image of Barakas' tail on both sides.
"I can't see very well in the dark, I'll stay up here. Do we want to tie a rope around your waists and if you get into trouble, give it two tugs and I'll pull you out?"
"Sounds good" he says to Theodor, "you can tie a rope around me" he says, and drinks the last water breathing potion. Once he is tied, he will head down to, Beans will stay up with Theodor.

// OOC: sorry I didn't see your post before mine. Shayla can open the barrell. Theodor will look out for enemies

Shayla
The priest shrugs and tries to open a barrel then passes the crowbar to Theodore. He is actually quite a bit stronger than she.

Theodor tries a barrel

The barrel will be cumbersome to carry right note, she makes a mental note to come back (meaning if I forget to mention it, she takes it later).

OOC: Do we all notice the hole on the deck or just Shayla?
OOC: She would make it clear that it was there if nobody noticed =)
