Looking around at everyone, seeing the injuries that they have accumulated, she realized that most of them needed the rest more than her and offered to take the first shift in keeping watch. "I can take the first watch. Everyone else probably needs the sleep a little more than me. We can take 2 hour shifts. With 5 shifts, that is 8 hours for everyone. That also means someone doesn't need to take a shift. So if someone feels they really need it, then they can take the full 10 hours of sleep, or they could volunteer to help on a shift. possible one of the harder ones in the middle of the night. So..." she pauses as the is looking over them, waiting for the next person to speak up, to catch on to her idea, "Who wants, which shift?"
Yuri, glad that Morpetor made it out of the cave in o e piece and under his own power, slumps to the ground against a tree. "I'll take a night watch, once any fire has died."
Yuri loads his crossbow and busies himself looking for a good place to camp among the trees and shrubs.
"I volunteer to take the last watch shift. If anyone wants to eat those wolves we killed I'll grab one or two to take back to camp."

Morpetor exits the cave after all the others have been washed out. Morpetor offers the information of the goblin numbers still inside the cave. The group moves a distance from the cave entrance and starts a fire. Kim gets everyone in the schedule of keeping watch outside of the mouth of the cave. Kim herself taking the first watch. The savage Renvalm returns to the cave briefly without incident. Renvalm returns to the camp site and cooks a wolf to feast on, offering it to the others. the group seems less than eager to chew on wolf meat. Darthos looks like he's sickly, not sure if the food offering or the attacks. Gramgran takes most of the watch for the others. Yuri is on least watch as he watches the sun rise from the bushes. The night comes and goes as the group takes shift watching over the others. The rest of the group awakens from the sun cutting through the trees. The fire has burned out and only little bits of the wolf remains on the make shift rotisserie.
Everyone takes the benefits of a long rest. Renvalm gets inspiration for his savage actions!
For Kim:
A letter is laid beside your head as you awake. A wax sigil of a raven seals the parchment. You know this seal to be the sigil of the Raven Order, the secret branch of the military you are currently serving. A clock work raven crows from across the field. The letter reads as follows:
Stormwell,
We need an update of your progress in your current mission. As always, the raven will return your reply. If a reply if not returned in a timely manner, we will assume the worst.
Having taken last watch, Yuri is already prepared for the day ahead. He has started a small fire and is boiling some water with leaves from his rations as the others wake.
"I'm not sure blackened wolf meat is going to catch on in the cities, but at least there's some tea." Yuri looks towards Gramgran at the cave entrance, "Grandmother, would you not take a cup? The goblins will still be waiting, but at least you'll be warm."
"I don't know about that, it tasted just fine to me. But I won't say no to a warm drink." Renvalm eats what's left of the wolf meat while drinking his tea. As soon as he is done he joins Gramgran by the cave entrance bringing her a cup of tea.

Kim reads the letter quickly. She tries to be care as not to let the others see her reading or writing a response. She scribbles down a reply with haste.
"Captain Izen, I am sorry for my delay. The mission has hit a alarming state. Gundren has been captured and we had to stop our transportation mission in order to rescue him. He was taken by goblins that we hunted down to a near by cave. We hit a lot of issues will exploring and had to take a retreat to camp and recover. We are about to attack again, and we have moved past the nice play that the others on the mission wished to do. I plan to lead an assault after this letter.
The next thing I would like to note is although they are not trained like soldiers, this is a strong group that I believe has possibilities as recruits.
I apologize for not finishing this mission sooner.

She hands the letter off to the Raven and whispers to it, "Go"
She looks around to determine if anyone has noticed she was playing opossum. She stands and ask if everyone is ready. "I don't think we should have much trouble with the water this time. If that was a planned trap then it would take a long time to reset it."
"I'm ready to go when everyone else is. I agree Kim, a trap like that would take time and hopefully they think they took us out with the one that hit us."

Waiting until everyone has gotten themselves ready for the day, Yuri will put out their campfire and try his best to return their camp to normal. Once he has finished, he joins the others by the mouth of the cave.
