Edmar - Do you attempt to feed on one of the napping mortals? What does that look like? Do you try to find out where you are? As I wander I notice a slumbering person underneath a tree. I can't help but approach while remaining a safe distance, enough to slowly feed on their dream while noticing this maybe a perfect place to set up my own residence and place of operations.
(( You can NOT eat and drink like any mortal, food tastes like ash. You are immune to poison and venom.))
(( You feed on souls, through dreams and blood. One dream feeding could last you a week. One of blood two weeks. The donor will likely survive. You get an option to enthrall your meal DC 18 charisma. You get a minor boon if you completely devour the soul. DC 19 the body survives becoming a soulless enthralled. ))
The half-elf at your table, Belgama slapps the table in a burst of laughter. "I tell you, those crazy wizard students never take any precautions! You're lucky you didn't blink into the sky just outside one of the towers!"
"Aw, pish! They don't look like no wizard to me.", the small stout bearded fellow says jovially.
"You're in The Drunken Dragon. Are you working at one of the Universities? Some student trying to show off?", the human provides and asks.
Gemini - There seem to be two temples busier than the others, while you don't recognize the iconography, the names in common are "The Pavilion of the Host" and "The Cathedral of the Cleansing Flame".
There are street vendors selling wares. Five (5) silver can get you a matching pair of boots.
There are other less busy shrines and temples too.
Gemini huffs. They try to scrutinize the iconography but come up with none. "Cool. Great. Just what I needed. Another place where I don't recognize the language." Then it smacks them right in the face when they read something in Common. Turns out they had been guessing that the pictures were the characters of a local language. 'Dumb. Stupid.' They chastise themself.
They stumble through the vendor stalls with one leg in front of the other, staring straight into the crowd and ignoring the fact that they have one shoe on, but it is that very same energy that makes it look like they are trying hard. They stop in front of one that looks like they sell shoes.
"Hey,"they say, putting their arm onto the counter, "I need a boot. Give me a boot."They tap onto the counter a few more times before pointing at the pair they like. "Here."Then they hand the person some 6 silver, having not asked the price and just guessed. "Hey, while I got ya here. Where's the nearest library anyways? The one at the, um, university? Yeah."
(( OOC - Thanks Sasquatch. Just wanted to double check about the contracts thing. How do you want me to play them out & what can I offer etc? As the hag, do I have some other abilities or something that work with the contract, like a specific/special magical/other ability? Cheers! ))
(( Pick one of the Hags in the bestiary. Including (MCDM) versions, but not coven versions. This is your true form. You have access to all its abilities in your true form.
Additionally, your ability to twist fate through a contract is only limited by your imagination (and mine)... maybe a person wishes they didn't have to work anymore and you giggling say, 'Oh, I could give you that.' They laughing say, 'sound good.' You feel the contract struck. They step outside and are run over by a chariot horribly mangling them ensuring they'll never work again.
You can gradually feed off that soul or keep it for a later trade. ))
The young man hands you the shoes and takes the coin. "You mean Morgrave University?"
"We're in Middle Central Plateau Sovereign Towers. Morgrave University is in Upper Menthis. You'd need to take those bridges", he points south, "to Middle Menthis, then take one of the towers up to the upper district. You could just get to the University tower and take it up, I guess."
“Who says I nend to look like a wizard? Doesn’t mean I don’t know any!” She huffed playfully, leaning closer and waving them in like she was about to tell a secret. “A buddy of mine was fooling around and teleported me and a few friends about, let someone mess with magic and yer bound to end up being sent somewhere, I’m just glad I have all my clothes!” She contentedly re-adjusted her fluffy mink skin coat, though the weather here didn’t seem to make it of much use. “These…universities, what would you say is close around?”
Privately she added on to herself, “university…means a lot of witnesses, but I’m sure I can find somewhere private enough to enjoy a fool or two. I’m already starving and this tavern isn’t helping.” She drank some more, patting the dwarf on the shoulder happily. “Order something a little stronger next and a quite snack!”
"A little early to be that far gone, dear. Are you alright?", asks a feminine voice from behind you. Turning around you see you are in a tavern. There is bright sun coming in through the windows. The establishment is maybe half full. A raucous crowd of people all waring a sigiled sash.
There is a notice on the wall by the door "The Drunken Dragon, Clifftop, Upper Dura; Licensed..."
There is a plaque between two windows, "Congratulations to Pilltop! Champion! Race of Eight Winds!"
The young looking elven female with an apron and tied back hair is in front of you. "I didn't see you come in. What can I get for you."
Yesphira holds her head, but quickly focuses on the young elven voice. "Ah, very sweet of you to worry over an unfortunate soul, pretty." Yesphira smiles sweetly and brushes herself off. "Some food would be nice, however, perhaps you can tell me a little about your life here in The Drunken Dragon? I have travelled far and had little conversation for so long."
The half-elf sobers up a bit saying, "The only live prey your going to find here will be in Lower Dura near Dagger river or the Depths. There is some good fishing in the Hilt, but there is also a lot of port traffic."
At the look from her friends, she says, shrugging, "One of my mother's cousins is a sea elf and we have family friends who are merfolk. 'Quiet snacks' it's quickly killed prey, like live fish, right?"
The tavern wench giggles and brushes a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I don't personally live here in the tavern. I have a small room in Lower Dura. There are some temporary stay rooms available, though. I'll get you a charcuterie board, it'll be a couple silver. We're well known here at The Drunken Dragon for our wide verity of alcohol. That's probably why the Clifftop adventures are so frequent. We're also the closest tavern to their guild." She giggles again.
She gestures toward the partially occupied tables near the front of the tavern.
That's when you see the sea elf that was one of Bix group. What were they called? Something like Helga, maybe?
Grim (Wraith/high elf) - You pop into existence with your foot firmly in a map bucket. Your head is spinning.
"Oh! You are like us, but not one of us. Can I help you?"
You open your eyes to see a human, but in their eyes and their aura, you know there are two spirits in front of you.
While you subjugated the original owner of the shell you are using long before this outing, the entity in front of you seems to be in some type of symbiosis.
(( You can eat and drink like any mortal, food tastes like it did to the original shell. You are not resistant to poison or venom. However, when this shell dies, you can attempt to possess a new mortal shell whether empty or not. You can also attempt to jump shells at will.))
((You feed on souls. One feeding could last you a week. The donor will likely survive. You get an option to possess your meal DC 18 charisma and a contested WIS check. You get a minor boon if you completely devour the soul.))
((You are ravenous.))
Grim looks around confused at the sudden situation “uhh… yes. Do you by any chance know where morgrave university is?” Grim shakes his foot out the bucket. “I hate the feeling of these feet…”
"Thanks," Gemini mumbles, jumping on one foot to put the boot on the other. It takes them a few tries but they got it. Turning back around, they respond. "Yeah, that's the one."
Trying to come up with a visual map in their head, they nod, "Right, okay, so I'm not that far, great... actually." Gemini smiles and puts their hands on their hips to look around. 'There really can be a lot of fun out here.' They slam their arm onto the counter again.
"I'm trying to re-brand myself," they wave their hand across the air like in a rainbow. "What kind of name you recommend? I'm thinking Josh... or maybe Charlie? Honestly anything goes." They shrug, "I've been looking for a while for a new nickname."

Grim (Wraith/high elf): The human nods, "That's in Upper Menthis. You're in Upper Dura. So you just have to cross this ward and the bridge and the University is in the middle of that ward; maybe a ninety minute walk. Sky coach is faster, but will run you a gold easy."
"You should get a drink in the tavern. You're in the washroom right now. Balder says, 'You shouldn't cause trouble.' I'm not sure what they mean."
The young man laughs, "You sound like one of them shifter folk from Stoneyard in Lower Northedge. Them, the verdan, and the kalashtar are always saying things like that. Are you a kalashtar? Got to be weird sharing your head with some dream person, huh?"
"Anyway, how about Francis? Don't matter if you're up or down anyone would remember you."
It was an easy enough reason for her to use so she nodded along. “Right. Though, I‘m a fan of stuff a little bit bigger, nothing’s quite as delicious or useful as a seal.” Or something like you, she thought to herself. “Where’s this port anyway? Mind giving a gal some directions, before I get too sloshed to make it there.” She was excited to explore in general, and as lively as the tavern’s atmosphere was she wanted to see more of this place Bix had inexplicably sent her too.
"Wha-" Gemini starts saying. "No- I-"As dispensable as these disguises are, they didn't wanted to be outed right away. Though curiosity beckoned them. Dream person? 'It's just me in here. I think.' They feel their now human teeth with their tongue.
"Uh, why? What do you wanna know?"They cross their arms across their chest and scoff. "I do like the name Francis, though, so I'll give you that. I'm keeping it."They open up their cross with one right hand wave. "Tell me more about this place and I'll tell you a secret."

Majoroty is role play. You're a vampire who went on a LARP adventure with your friend Bix and his friends. Other than being otherworldly and having some quirks, you'll have an adventure. The slight of hand and attack rolls are to intimate feeding without getting caught. Even feeding on dreams takes some essence of the mortal. You are in an unknown apparently flush with mortals. You'll have opportunities to go full "beast mode" too.
