Sampson hears a grunt of pain from the goblin. He knows not to ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for G2.
From the darkness a hobgoblin emerges in a charge towards the forest line. Yet Psalm is waiting for it and neither the branches nor the hobgoblin's armor and shield are able to block the blow and it's knocked back into the darkness, dead on the ground.
From the other side a second goblin bearing a shortbow comes out to loose another two arrows before ducking behind a tree.
Ducking beneath the arrows fired at him, Dain will Dash to get next to the goblin that just fired at him. He gives it a devilish grin that says "you've made a terrible mistake." (Can't reach anything since we start on difficult terrain)
Seeking to draw some attention to himself, Finn flew up into the air and past the treeline out into the open.
"I'll tenderize the big guy!" he called out as he spoke first one quick incantation, then a second that sounded decidedly more aggressive. The second was accompanied by dimly-glowing phantom blades the dove straight into the darkness.
MOVE: Finn will spend just over 28 ft. of movement to fly up and forward in a diagonal line, to end up 20 feet directly forward of where he was, but also 20 feet in the air. BONUS: He'll cast Hex using a 3rd-level spell slot, targeting the Captain and sapping his Strength (Devil's Sight allows him to see into the darkness) ACTION: He'll then cast Eldritch Blast, again targeting the Captain, and gaining advantage from being hidden * 1st Eldritch Bolt - Attack: 14, Damage: 7 Force and 4 Necrotic (add an additional 2 and 4 on a crit) * 2nd Eldritch Bolt - Attack: 27, Damage: 8 Force and 2 Necrotic (add an additional 5 and 5 on a crit)

"Your teeth are straight and your ears are small!"
Dain is able to charge through the thickets and towards G4 without issue.
As Zyldorin looses his insult the goblin snarls resolutely and shouts back in Common, "
Finn's blasts pierce through the darkness. The captain stands strong against the first blast though it's just a near miss but the second causes him to snarl in pain.
[[ @Rod, if you want to have Finn 30ft up and over, that's also fine. I tend towards non-Euclidean geometry with battlemaps where the diagonal of a square is the same length as its sides. ]]
As Finn's magical force daggers hit their mark, the captain begins barking orders in Goblin and bolstering the resolve of his goblinoids. He holds his sword out and leads them from the darkness. As he reaches the edge of the thickets he stands under the flying human with a defiant look on his face.
Following the barking of orders, Goblins G1 and G3 come out and aim at Finn before darting towards nearby trees.
Goblin G2, seeing that his hiding was useless against the perceptive cleric, steps out and then looses his arrows in retaliation. He looks a bit worse for wear from the man's earlier Toll the Dead, though still has fight in him.

"You flatter me, my dragonborn friend!"Psalm calls to Zylborin as he flings his short bow over his shoulder like a piece of trash. "Now the pressure's on for me to warrant that fine melody."
He whistles the tune to himself as he dances between the trees, moving 5' to the northwest and another 5' north, drawing his rapier in the process.
Finally, he moves another 5' north, emerging from the foliage with a theatrical leap and draws the captain's attention by chirping "Yoo-hoo." before driving the blade into the captain's torso. He then withdraws back into the dense foliage and goes silent again.
Oh... and he drops that Darkness spell because who needs it.

First Finn's magics, then Sampson's radiant light, and finally the tip of a rapier. He falls to the ground, leaving the remaining goblins shaken.
[[ With guaranteed half-damage from Sampson's Channel divinity, the captain will definitely fall regardless of if he saves or not. ]]
The captain is able to save, giving him a look of triumph before it turns to surprise with Psalm's rapier.
While goblins 1 and 2 are able to avoid the brunt of the light, they are looking very poor. Goblin 2 seems to be barely hanging on and Goblin 1 looks bloodied. Meanwhile the other goblinoids are not so lucky, silenced in one holy moment and down on the ground. Between the fall of their captain and the deaths of their companions, their fighting spirit seems broken.
