Amdaeng bats the arrow away harmlessly then vaults over the rock into the midst of the group of archers beside her. She strikes hard around her, fists flying.
Lira nods in gratitude, pulling the cloak around her shoulders and tucking the rations into her pack. “Thanks,” she murmurs, already shifting her focus to the path ahead. As they ascend, she keeps a sharp eye on their surroundings, scanning for anything out of place—tracks, movement, signs of an ambush.

The group of four begins the trek out of the valley to the ridgeline of the mountains and then begins heading toward the V in the valley where the snow is fullest. It is a dark and cold night and you have not rested since your journey to cache 3 which began early this morning. Even though it is dark, your tattoos (night vision) still hold, and with the help of some moonlight, you can see well enough. You estimate you are about 10 minutes from the edge of the valley and may get a view of the strange goblin army in the open area below.
(OOC: On the map above, the group is headed to the northmost tip of the black area (Near the brown road (the thinest point in the valley between the two peaks.)
After about one hour of steep hiking, Za’chak stops suddenly, raising an arm silently. He stands pensive trying to make out what he detected. (Image of Za'chak)
(Perception rolls please, group is on owlbear rodeo (left side of big map on white area.)
Amdaeng springs from the break in the tree line and advances quickly toward the closest two goblins. In a flurry of blows, she dispatches one and then the other. Both pummeled to death before they can even defend themselves.
Vydar does see the sneaky goblin, (s2) and also sees his counterpart (s1). S1 is directly north of Vydar 65 feet, while s2 hides near some rocks as Morric and Amdaeng advance. He calls out to Morric and Amdaeng, revealing the sneaky goblins position.
Morric advances around the rock and with Vydar pointing out his location, is able to spot the goblin, hiding behind some rocks. He clobbers the little guy with his huge sword, a satisfying (Slooop) sound as their head leaves body and falls to the ground.
(we still have goblins 5 and 6 north of Amdaeng and Morric, goblin s1 and 4 (Injured north of Iolinder and Vydar).
Seeing Amdaeng advance, goblins 5 and 6 split, one moving to the east, the other west. They then both draw arrow on bow. Goblin (6) fires at Morric: 13 to hit, as the arrow bounces off his armor. Goblin 5 takes a shot at Amdaeng: 23 to hit, 6 piercing damage.
Goblin (4) shots at Vydar but misses his mark.
The sneaky archer (s1) shoots at Morric as she sees their counterpart fall.: 20 to hit, 7 damage), hitting him with an arrow.

Lira hears the sound of footsteps in the dark beyond the group. Its clearly the padding sound of canines. They are coming this way, but still out of sight in the night light
Iólinder observed the battlefield. Both Amdaeng and Morric were culling the advancing goblin army on the west while their allies were holding their own on the east. The tide of battle was swinging into their favour. He looked out past the stone arch he had taken shelter behind and spotted a lone goblin archer straight ahead. Once more cursing his lack of ranged option, Iólinder mimed drawing a sword and slashing at the goblin. As he drew, he uttered a prayer to Telak and when he brought his hand down, a sword with a golden lion's head for a guard shimmered into existence and cut into the goblin.
After nearly bifurcating the goblin in twain, Iólinder added some extra oomph with a casting of Thaumaturgy to make the lion's head roar in triumph after its attack.
Rolled in the campaign log: - Bonus action Spiritual weapon attack roll: 26 ; Damage roll: 17 force damage
Whispering to the others, "Is there another way or do we deal with these wolves now?"

Iólinder's magical floating sword slashes at the unfortunate goblin, taking him down in one shot. The damage of the magical weapon causes the goblin to fly 10 feet back, landing on the ground with a sickening thump. To the northeast of Vydar and Iólinder, more goblins fall at the Toa-Suo make quick work of their invaders.
Morris (already killed (s2) so he advances to goblin 6 to his north. Again, his sword destroys the little archer in one fell swoop.

Baatar takes some shots at the goblins coming in from the northeast, taking out two more of their number.
From the shadows of the night, 4 glowing eyes appear, however to your surprise, there are goblin riders on top of the two creatures. They are not wolves, but mounted worgs. The facial features of the creatures seem evil, almost fiendish, their eyes glowing in the light of the moon. They are 65 feet away and moving toward you.
Za'chak pulls out a huge javelin and tosses it at one. Even at this range, he is able to pierce the hide of the creature with a grazing attack: 3 damage
One of the mounted worgs advances quickly, moving 50 feet forward. You notice that the worg has blood on its teeth and hide.
However, the second seems to be slowed by Za'chak's javelin, stuck in its shoulder (new rules for the barbarian class!). It only moves forward 10 feet, distracted by the sharp-tipped weapon hindering its movement.
Then you spot a third mounted worg to your northwest, breaking out from behind a clump of rocks.
(OOC :Morric: If you don't have darkvision or a tattoo that helps with such, it is now dark, so all attacks are at disadvantage unless you provide light.)
(Where does Lira wish to hide, there is a sort of ledge on the east and west sides of the ridge you are standing on.)
On Morrics turn he will light a torch and plant it on the body of goblin6 and then move to the position for cover in the rocks. He got so into the fight he didn’t realize the sun had gone down
