Zarbyn accepts the ring Lira offers him with a crooked smirk and replies, "Does this mean we are promised to each other now?"
He only waits a moment to see if his joke lands, hoping a misplaced attempt at levity will ease the tension of the situation.
After seeing Lira take a red sash he will also retrieve one and tuck it away in the case it could prove useful for disguises.
"Good idea Lira, this could prove useful." Zarbyn then glances forward and back to check if anyone, including any guards or watch have spotted the fighting on the bridge.
"Let's get moving, we should put distance between us and this..." he looks around at the bodies of the bandits, "bridge."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
After a quick search, it is time to go as you all feel uneasy about the man in the boat who ducked out. You head over the bridge and back toward the serpent queens estate. Then toward the gardens where the alchemists store is located.
The shop looks as if it’s survived more than one explosion — the blackened stone around the windows still faintly scorched, and a thin ribbon of smoke seeps through a cracked chimney. The sign above the warped oak door reads “Dietrich Zuvember – Alchemist”in half-flaked gold paint, and beneath it, someone (perhaps Dietrich himself) has scrawled “All Sales Final.”
The windows are crowded with glass vessels of every color — some bubbling, others emitting suspicious vapor trails that drift into the street. A faint metallic tang lingers in the air, mingled with the scent of brimstone and lavender.
A dented bell hangs over the door, next to a hand-lettered notice: “Knock first — or be prepared to explain what you’ve broken.”

Jherik's shot strikes true, taking out the thug.
