"Ok everyone, they just paid and are on their way back."
Zarbyn keeps everyone updated on where and what the others are doing and how things are going on their end.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
The restoration potion is brought back without much incident and administered to Niccodemus, as he yells at the newcomers, “Get, get out foul fowl, don’t take my hat, it’s mine!”
As he drinks the magical potion, it does neutralize the fever and illness. He seems himself again, but in a weakened state.
”Ah, it’s you. Did you retrieve the three items yet?”
He pauses, checking to see if his hat is still on his head.
“Then, you can bind them with…, did I tell you how to bind them? That makes her mortal, and reduces some of her powers.”
Niccodemus continues, “you have probably noted the colder temperatures here. That has triggered the black lotus to bloom early.” He pauses, “you will need to speak with the fey people in the gardens and convince them somehow to give you one petal.”
He makes a crushing motion. “Crush the black lotus petal over the three artifacts at the same time to activate their hidden power and bind them but don’t do this until you are near Shareela domain.”
He sighs, “I don’t know why, but I am very tired.”
“Once you retrieve what is in Blacksand, I can transport you to the mountain.”
Zarbyn tries to allay any concerns Nicodemus has by catching him, and everyone else up on what lies ahead for them.
"So if Vydar does indeed have the amulet then we just have to get Icebane, which is probably going to involve some fighting as I don't see it just being handed over."
"...oh, and let's not forget we also have to convince the fey guardians to part with a petal from the black lotus."
Zarbyn wipes his hand over his face in a sort of brushing back motion that continues for him so that he ends up smoothing some of his hair back and out of his face and eyes. He also let's out a sigh as he does this.
In a low voice addressed to nobody in particular, "...it must be Wednesday."

(Sorry for my inactivity. I've been sick, and still am a bit sick.)
Vydar shrugs to Zarbyn's comment about the mirror and their detour and opts to stay with the older wizard while the others go get the medicine. Once they are back he listens to what they have to say and what Nicodemus says in return. He holds back a sigh when the black lotus comes back up. He'd had a feeling the flower held some importance but he hadn't expected to actually need the flower itself for anything. It's a good thing they'd stayed on neutral terms with the creatures guarding it.
When the question of which item to go after first comes up, he nods to Amdaeng. "I agree, let's deal with the goblins first. The lotus should definitely be the last thing we go after. Out of all of our potential enemies here the fey are probably the worst ones to anger early." He says the last part thinking that, should they be unable to convince the creatures to willingly hand over a petal, they may have to take it by force.
"So this Werik Longfinger has Icebane, and I take it we can find him somewhere amongst the goblins?"
Zarbyn thinks about what he just said, and the others too... about going after goblins... the name of the sword they're going after... his thoughts begin to drift like a ship on an 'idle calm' without any wind in the sail.
"Should I name my sword?" After leaving Nicodemus and heading for the goblins, Zarbyn will draw the gloomy shadows together and forge his shadow-wrought blade in his left hand, making a few quick flourishes with it, "...how about... Shadowlore!"

Werik Longfinger is head of crimson legion, Levs former gang, they wear red sashes and you encountered them on the docks in the gang war and again in the bridge combat. You have some of their sashes.)
"Does anyone know anything about this Werik Longfinger? How he fights, how well he's protected? What would be the best kind of plan to get Icebane away from him?"
Zarbyn sinks into himself as his mind sinks into thought about how best to go about getting the... magic weapon. Of course, that might be an option so he should at least mention it for consideration.
"If we can rush him and disarm him or otherwise get the weapon away from him... I could use my ability to bond with a weapon and that would make it harder for him to get it back."

Lev would know some of Werik's fighting tendencies. Perhaps some gang tactics. (Could give your party advantage in some fights if not surprised). (OOC: The players may not recall that Lev and Crimson Legion are connected, that he has a magic weapon that is suited for this encounter, and they may not know much about Libra and Justice that are part of the drive for justice/ revenge, all important story elements for Lev to explore in game).
He would also presume that Weil must have been promoted in the last year.
The Thieves’ Guild is the largest and most powerful
organisation in Blacksand, as befits a place often known
as “the city of thieves”. This organisation is old,
originating in the early days of the town and has many,
many hundreds of members.
Most members are recruited young as pickpockets and
petty thieves are let loose into the city, tithing 10% of their
“takings” to the guild. Those that are successful, and
survive, are recruited as full apprentices to the guild and
made to swear a blood oath, binding them to the guild for
life. After some years
as an apprentice, each
thief must undergo a
series of gruelling
tests and
e x a m i n a t i o n s .
Success allows the
thief to become a full
member who is
assigned to one of the
Master Thieves. These tests take place over a period of
about 6 weeks starting at the end of unlocking each year.
The tests become steadily more difficult until they
culminate in a daring and audacious theft. The potential
graduate is only told the item they must steal, and must
find out where, who, how and when themselves. Less
that one in four candidates survive the series of tests,
meaning that those graduates who do are very skilled and
capable (or in posession of incredible LUCK!).
The guild will also recruit more experienced thieves that
move to the city, although they must still undergo some
specific tests to prove their ability. Immigrant thieves that
refuse to join are usually referred to the attention of the
assassins’ guild, and very few live to regret their refusal.
Once a thief becomes a full member, they can secure
promotion to trusted lieutenant and above by killing their
immediate superior. This is of course a very dangerous
enterprise as more senior thieves have spent many years
avoiding death at the hands of their subordinates.
There are five Master Thieves, who divide the city up
amongst themselves, each with their own lieutenants,
henchmen and ordinary members.

Danetyr the Spike (Liras master thief)
This thief is a specialist cat burglar, expert at climbing
walls, breaking and entering and silent movement.
She is always immaculately dressed in black, and
always has several stilleto knives (from which she
gains her nickname) upon her person. Danetyr
prefers to avoid direct conflict, preferring stealth and
cunning instead. The Assassins’ guild draw heavily
upon Danetyrs followers for their new recruits, and
Feeling a bit easier that some of his friends are familiar with this Werick fellow, Jherak poses a question. “Anyone know how many other gang members we could be up against, along with Longfinger?”
His concern is not with himself, but with the group as a whole. With some new folks joining them, himself included, they hadn’t seen much action together. He’s hopeful they mend well and compliment each other.

Amdaeng thanks Dietrich for the restorative and pays whichever price he named, " Ok, we should get back. Thank you again, Master Alchemist."

Amdaeng was certainly thinking about that tunnel into the sewers and had linked that to Werik. Her excuse.....I'm not from around here.
( Lira has no excuse other than the person directing her is old and dumb.)
(No worries!)
Lira thought hard about what she knew of Werick Long finger from her time in Blacksand.
