"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
OOC--- if using 2024 version of witch bolt you would still be able to keep the spell up even if you miss...
Quote from the spell:
"On each of your subsequent turns, you can take a Bonus Action to deal 1d12 Lightning damage to the target automatically, even if the first attack missed."
It's a concentration spell and the effect would be in place... Dropping concentration on faerie fire, even though the initial attack missed.
Of course that's all dependant on your intent and DM ruling... I'm not trying to rules lawyer, just providing information as I understand it.
The dwarven fire elemental takes the shots by Amdaeng, taking 18 damage.
"You show promise and the martial training of the Chiang Mai province." the embattled warrior says, fire coming out of his mouth as he speaks to Amdaeng. "It is a shame you will share my fate and be the victim of my curse."

(I will take turns for Vydar and 2 for Morric at this point, sorry, but want to keep things going......)
Vydar tries to move his lightning (witch bolt)energy closer to the target, landing a connection between himself and the elemental (17 to hit)., The bolt does 10 damage. (Next round, it automatically hits per spell description).
Morric (attacks twice as we missed his last round): His sword comes down hard on the being, for 15 magical slashing damage. Then he swings again, seeming to gain some momentum for the dwarf blocks his sword with his axe, however, the swordsman still manages a grazing attack (5 damage).
To Amdaeng: "If you are here in this place, you are as cursed as all of us. It is tainted by the Child of Darkness and his power brings me back from the grave."
The fiery elemental dwarf looks at Iólinder, hot orange blood dripping from multiple wounds and seeping out of spaces in his armor (He looks much worse than he did last round, .eg, at 1/4 hp).
"This is Thalgar's workshop, and if you saw him, that is good. But, my soul is bound to do the bidding of another."
The elemental attacks again: His arm unnaturally long as it reaches for Lev with Axe: (21 to hit), 5 slashing, 8 fire damage
Then with Scimitar, he attacks Morric again: (22 to hit), 5 slashing, 6 fire damage to Morric
And finally, He throws the battleaxe at Amdaeng (24 to hit). Similar to Iólinder's magic, the axe seems to float near Amdaeng and attacks. (10 magic slashing damage)

(Ooc: Thanks for pointing that out. Since witch bolt is a concentration spell, it would replace Fairie fire which is a good thing at this point.)

The dwarf takes a swing with his battleaxe, hitting Lev with a (23 to hit). His fiery axe piercing armor and skin: 2 slashing, 4 fire damage.
