Pip and Bramble look at each other, then look at Lira and Saya. "There's a voice in there" (Pointing behind them at the door behind the mural of Myurr). She keeps telling us to come in, eat the mushrooms. Then she says, "take the treasure out of the water"...but it isn't water, its molton hot lava.....Greta wouldn't listen to us, she caught on fire!"
"The mushrooms made us sick, or weak. I was a bit out of it."
"I'm no expert on such matters but doesn't that sound like some sort of magical compulsion Vydar?"
Zarbyn checks to see what condition everyone is in, "Is everyone ok? We may have to deal with some sort of... Enchantress behind that door."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"Eggs? I wonder if we could hatch one," Lira murmurs, momentarily distracted by the idea of raising a hatchling dracolisk. Could befriending such a creature even be possible?
The lizard would bond with its mothers whomever raises it. (regardless of size ) Druid could speak with animals It’s a cross between a lizard and a drake so fairly intelligent . The eggs would be worth a great deal on the black market and the infamous death trap dungeon could use such a creature
"If we're the ones to raise it, it should be alright. The creatures are pretty intelligent," Lira says with a smile, forgetting the threat behind the door for just a moment, "The other egg would sell well on the black market...though the creature would likely end up being a feature in the 'death trap dungeon'."
"Anyway, does anyone need a rest before we head in there? As long as we don't eat the mushrooms, whatever that voice is should have a harder time tricking us."
"Those are good ideas Lira, both about the eggs and the rest." Zarbyn looks for a somewhat comfortable place to sit and take a drink from his waterskin, "We can recover and make some plans, not just for what might lay beyond the door but once we leave cache 4. We need to quickly get to that wizard or whoever it was that could help us."
Zarbyn brushes his hand through his hair and gives his head a little shake, "Sorry, I'm finding it hard to focus at the moment. If I could just get an hour or so to recoup I probably wouldn't be so frazzled."

"I don't know the particulars of what you speak of when you mention the death trap dungeon, Sukumvit, or the Trial... but it sounds like selling the young into bondage or servitude, and possibly a cruel death."
Zarbyn face looks drawn and very upset, "I'm not ok with that."
"Maybe we should just keep both of them or... I don't know, maybe we can find a solution that isn't so harsh or final."

Lira looks to Amdaeng and Zarbyn, clearly relieved that they feel the same way she does. "Agreed. We have plenty of time to find another home for one of them. Perhaps the tribe wouldn't mind raising one to help protect their lands." Encouraged, she will find a spot to sit for the short rest of the others decide to take one

Vydar thinks for a moment when Zarbyn asks about what kind of magic they might be facing.
Arcana to see if he knows of magic like this off his head: 23
If he still doesn't know what kind of enchantment that sounds like, He will heasitantly walk move so he's standing just outside the room, purposfully not looking at the mural, then hewill cast detect magic while.
He does note that they say the voice is a she, he hadn't heard a voice like that in the vision...
"I agree that giving one to the tribe would be a good idea." He says to the group. He's not really sure keeping one is a good idea despite them being intelligent. Mainly because of their acidic blood and the fact that the group seems to constantly be getting into fights. However, he keeps that to himself.
"We will do nothing of the sort. We are going home with our newfound eggs."
She turns back toward the tunnel, looking like she will leave shortly. During your rest, you learn that the Gnomes live to the south and came exploring the mountains in search of herbs, mushrooms, gems, and other treasures. They found a large reptile hole some mile from here and followed it, looking for eggs. The tunnel opened up into this "old mine" with the strange Myurr mural. Saya went back in to lure the lizard here as they found the two arbalests.
Amdaeng notes that the Gnomes don't seem to know another way out, nor have the explored any of the mines above.
To pass the time during the short rest Zarbyn will eat half a ration and a few more drinks from his waterskin. He wishes the gnomes well when they leave for home. Then his attention turns back to the group and what they have left to do.
"Let's not lose sight of what we came here to get and what we have to do to get it. Who wants to use the gloves to get the anvil?"

Iólinder it's sitting back and listening to the others as he rests. He's been so focused on ending battles quickly his resources are diminished.
The short rest will help a bit, but he's beginning to recognize that force and power should be wielded with more care.
"I have allowed myself to be overwhelmed by my own pride." He whispers to himself as he glances at his allies.
He knows that each of them are strong and capable in their own rights, but his fear of allowing them to be harmed if he didn't do enough has led him to a weakened state where he may not be able to do enough when it really counts.
"Forgive me, Libra, for I have failed to hold your teaching close. Forgive my, Telak, for I have lost the meaning of your teaching in the heat of battle. I will do better. I will trust the allies you have sent to my side. I will do my best to contain my emotions when threatened. Guide me in this."
Lev barely manages to get out of the way of the blood. In spite of Iolinder's healing.
"I agree with Amdaeng," he says when the issue of what to do with the eggs is discussed. "I don't like the idea of dealing with the black market, and if the creature is going to end up in the arena then I'd rather just crush the egg now and save it the misery."
He nods when the idea of giving it to the tribe is presented, "That sounds like a better idea. Could even give both to them should we decide it's too risky to keep one."He isn't against having one with them, but at the same time training and caring for it could prove difficult with their current task.
Turning to Zarbyn Lev says, "I'll do it." His tone is firm, he doesn't want to let anyone else take the risk.
The group gets themselves cleaned up and builds their resolve for the task at hand. Perhaps it’s the mural of the snake demon Myurr, but each has a feeling they are being watched. A sort of invasive mental presence trying to read your thoughts as you refocus on the task at hand.
The gnomes say their goodbyes and thank you for the aid given against the massive creature.
The doorway beneath the mural awaits, but also something within beckons you to enter.

A smug grin appears on Vydar's face as he realizes he dealt the killing blow. Though his expression reverts to his usual frown when the mood darkens.

“I warned you from going in there. The doorway mural was warning enough.” Saya says, scolding the two.
”I have 4 eggs from the creature. 2 of them are yours.”
"Eggs? I wonder if we could hatch one," Lira murmurs, momentarily distracted by the idea of raising a hatchling dracolisk. Could befriending such a creature even be possible?
