Nate's smiling wildly. "Whew, that was a nice tussle!" He'll go to the original group and ask quietly, "So are we taking this ship from them, or hoping for the best? Not like they've recovered from the fight yet."
Gaèl grins at Nate's remark. "That's the spirit. Yeah, turns out their main goal was to just run this ship into the city. Is that enough to go and gank'em?" He draws his second sword again and looks at Rooster. "We need someone to patch up Aiden tho, it doesn't feel right to not have him join the fight."
"Hmm...So these pirates just wanted to crash into the engines...Quite bold but understandable, they wouldn't be able to get close to Aerovail with an unknown ship. Especially during this time." As the man corrects the ship's course, you start to see various ships of the cities cruising and docked at Aerovail. Most notable is the large intimidating dreadnought hovering above the city. The man sighs and lets nods his head to you all. "Though I hate to say it, you prisoners might have just saved the city."
From below deck, the vice captain emerges from the deck below. He is injured but not severely as he waves off a medic as he strides to the man, "The men have finished off the last off the pirates, sir. We also rounded up a few live ones for questioning once we are docked...And I suppose the prisoners have helped you take the helm."
"Aye, they did, do you suppose that alleviates their crimes?"
"...Sir, I am not qualified to do such acts, I only did what seemed best and use the tools I had at my disposal."
"Ah, these people are saviors. I doubt that what they did in the past can overshadow the act of saving a city."
The VC face hardens a bit but he nods, "Very well, your orders, sir?"
"Clean up the bodies and be discreet about it, can't have the public know about an attack that happened this close to the city. The prisoners shall come with me to meet with the commander. Need witnesses to account for those pirates actions." He looks to you all,
"And I'm not asking for you all to come, I need you to come with me. If you don't, I can't guarantee you all your freedom. While I can tell the commander all about saving the city and the pirates aiming to kill you. All he'll see is escaped prisoners and more headaches for him. So please cooperate with me."
Aidan looks quickly back and forth between the man they rescued and the VC, and nods as a realization hits him.
"If you've got the authority to guarantee our release, then running would be infinitely more trouble than it's worth, Captain."
He glances at each of the others, especially the very bloodied Liana, and winces visibly as he turns back to the captain.
"Probably wouldn't make it very far with these injuries anyways."

Gaèl scratches the back of his head. "Fine with me, let's get it other with." He seems a little distracted again already, rather looking around than talking directly to the captain.
With agreement from the majority of the party, Aidan looks down to his belt and, with his free hand, struggles to unsecure his sword sheath, saying,
"I assume... your commander wouldn't be... too happy with as yet... unpardoned... prisoners carrying arms?..."
Still keeping pressure on his wound, Aidan is unable to remove his sheath with just one hand, and gives up after a few seconds. He looks around and asks aloud, in a slightly frustrated voice,
"Could someone help me with this, please?"

Nate will help Aiden to sheath it, but tells the leader, "I'd prefer to keep my weapons, but if it makes you feel better, you can shackle me while we go."
Lilliana watches the scene unfolding with a growing sense of trepidation, wondering whether it would be worth the effort to attempt an escape. As her eyes drift across the deck towards the open air behind the security of the helm her hands begin to shake and she recalls the very recent terror of thinking her life was at an end. She looks around at the rest of the group and finds the general consensus to be cooperation. She nods. "Very well, I will come as well. I will hand over my weapons if necessary, but will not willingly accept shackles again." She also helps Aidan in removing the sword belt from around his waist. "I'll help him, Nate. He saved my life after all, it is the least I can do." Lilliana smiles at Aidan as she works the leather through the buckles and takes a moment to hold her hand over his wound... As she does she looks him square in the eye with an intense gaze that seems to speak to the man as some of the pain in his wounds ease a bit. The look conveys a very simple message. 'Don't tell anyone.'
Aidan heals 1 HP as Lilliana uses her ability of Healing Hands.
Aidan turns his stoic face away slightly at Lilli's smile, but he looks back at her with a somewhat surprised expression when she touches his wound. As the pain recedes slightly, he gives the faintest of nods.

It appears to Liana that the group has few choices, especially as injured as some of them are including herself. She keeps a hand on a wound that has bloodied the cloth around the opening. "I'll face your commander and speak to the bravery of these people. There is little doubt in my mind that these fine people have saved the day!" She tries to laugh heartily but winces at the pain.

Liana's pained laughter draws Aidan's attention, and he takes another look at the rest of the party before speaking to the Captain once more.
"If it's not too much to ask, Captain, would it be possible for a few of us to get patched up by the ship's medic before we head out to meet your commander?"
He also holds out the sheathed short sword in the VC's direction, offering to hand it back over.

"No need to give up your weapons, unless you're prone to violence. Can't do a street fight when we get to the cities, too many gobs that'll join that mob. Vice have the clerics heal them up, we'll arrive in about half an hour."
The lizardfolk stays near the captain's side, staying silent. The Vice captain beckons you all to join him down the deck.
"Healers are tending to a few of the wounded and checking our casualties. I'll tell them about the captain's orders."
"What a great idea, my good friend,"Liana nods in agreement. "We've taken quite a beating, as I'm sure your men have as well."Seeing Aidan disarm himself, Liana decides to follow suit. After all, she still had her magic if she got into a pinch. She nearly started to take off her armor, but the pain from the movement was too great for her. "Ahh, I suppose I will have to keep wearing my clothing. I hope you don't mind if I forego the prisoner garb, Captain."

At the VC's beckoning, Aidan makes to follow after him but pauses momentarily to whisper to Lilli.
"I believe the danger has passed, but if it helps, feel free to hold on until we get below deck."
He then turns to Liana and speaks aloud.
"Miss Red, as the most injured of us, I'd prefer to follow your lead."

Nate smiles. "Well if that's the way you want to play it, I'm not that injured compared to the rest; half-orc toughness and all. I guess I'll stay topside if you don't mind."
"I hate to impose on you, young man,"Liana regards Aidan as though she is some sort of elder or captain herself, "but could I trouble you for some assistance to the healers? I seem to... I seem to be quite dizzy..." The masked woman wobbles in place for a moment as if to teeter over at any moment.

"At least, not all of us it would seem."
Aidan is breathing rather heavily and holding the gash on his side.
"The way your VC tells it," Aidan indicates both himself and Gael, "the two of us would have died in our sleep had the pirates had their way."
He looks back at the man with a grave expression.
"The helm is secure for now, but they may still be fighting below deck."
Edit: He then looks around at all the others, possibly gauging their intent now that the ship is off its collision course.
