Nate steps forward and gestures to the injured aarakocra. “I’d say so yes. Do you mind telling your superiors so we can drop her off to them? No offense, but I’d prefer making sure this is done.”
They nod, "We have orders to bring in the suspect for a quick questioning before detaining them until the day is over. Also to bring your group as well to get a full understanding of what happened." The guards reach in and start to strip the aarakocra out of the makeshift hold on her. Then shackle her with iron manacles as they force her to stand up and start walking toward the castle's doors.
Liana sees Nate's question in his face and nods to him. She follows the guards. The Red doesn't necessarily agree with the commander, but she figures him to be a man of his word.

Lilliana looks around uncomfortably for a moment, perhaps contemplating a run for it? She hesitates as the others begin to file in and she takes one last, longing look towards the skyline before letting out an audible sigh. She then follows the others in, keeping a very close eye out for any signs of trouble... While following the guards she picks out one that is closest to her size and begins to make a mental note of their mannerisms, speech patterns, and face... just in case...
The guards mostly keep an eye on the Aarokocra as they make their way through the castle and back to the commander's office. Though a bit rough with her, she remains silent as she is pulled into the office of commander Ryvald. The commander is going over a few papers with Captain Mire until they see you all enter. He sets the paper aside and points to the Aarokocra, "This is the one that escaped the ship then?", The captain looks back and nods, "Yes sir, she lead the assailants on the ship and almost cut me down as well. And as you can see, the former prisoners managed to have capture her without killing her. I'd say they've earned their freedom, sir." The gnome nods his head as he approaches the captive, examining her, "I am a man of my word, captain. They have more than earned their freedom and deserve to be awarded. They will be pardoned and are due a reward of a hundred gold to each of them." The captain bows his head, "Thank you sir!". The commander waves his hand as he still examines the woman, "Now...Let's start with an easy question, what is your name, Greyhawk child?" The woman bristles at the mention of Greyhawk, she lunges forward, held back by the chains but meets the commander's calm gaze with her own glare of intensity.
(Congrats, you've all leveled up! Welcome to level 2!)
Lilliana lifts her head high for the first time in the short time you've seen her and she straightens her back with a smile as if an unfathomable weight had just been lifted from her. She nods at the Commander and turns back towards the Captain. "I appreciate you being a person of your word, thank you. Perhaps you may appreciate how much this means to me." She watches intently at the reaction to the strange name given the aarakocra and glances around at her companions with an intrigued look.
The captain ushers you all to exit the room. "I'm just grateful that the commander let me live up to that promise. I'll have the boys get you all your gold and escort you all out of the noble quarters, probably a bit too stuffy up here with all these high born here. The celebration should still be going on if you all want to enjoy yourselves for a short while." The captain says as he leads you all out of the guards' headquarters.
Liana puts her hands on her hips and grins earnestly, "Oh, I would love to stick around and see how the worse half lives. You should know thy enemy, after all... And you?"

Lilliana looks around at the others, now with her freedom in hand and for a moment she looks a little lost. "I do not know, exactly. I will likely leave this place behind. I have no fond memories keeping me within this floating fortress. What of yourself?"
Nate replies to Liana, “Well, first I’m gonna get my ship back, but for that I’m gonna need a crew to help me fly it. I don’t suppose you people would like a ride out of here? After we get paid of course.”
Lilliana looks at Nate with a nod. "I wouldn't say no to a ride out of here, although I have not been back to my place since I was arrested. I would not mind stopping by there first before---" 'They will be waiting for you.' She suddenly stops mid sentence as a terrified look comes across her face. "Actually, nevermind that. Let us find your ship and I would love to find somewhere to get some new clothing though, before we depart."
Two guards come your way with a chest between them. They salute the captain with their free hand as they set the chest before him. The captain salutes back as he opens the chest, "There we are, five hundred gold, a hundred for each of you." The gold inside the chest is neatly aligned in rows and shimmers brightly. "And if you're looking for the Laughing Duchess ship then I'd see Ser Jeran. The commander seems to be invested with interrogating that criminal you've all caught. Ser Jeran should be at the shipyard in the industrial district." The captain says as he looks to Nate.
“You know, you’re not a bad guy,” says Nate. “What was your name?” After he answers, Nate will thank him, collect his gold and ask the others if they also want a ride off this city.
The captain offers a hand, "Marsh Mire, though most of the guards call me Captain Mire. And sorry to say this but, the ship might be getting stripped down, either for putting it in our navy or for parts. I'd hurry on over to the shipyard and see what Jeran will or have done to it."
Nate shakes his hand. “Thanks for the warning, I think I’ll head there now. Is everyone coming?” Looking around at the group, he’s seeing how many will be coming into his ship.

Gaèl shrugs and scratches the back of his head awkwardly. He then lets out a long, heartfelt sigh, and slowly begins to walk with the guard.

(Yay!) Nate stands there, uncomfortable in such a lawful place in the city, waiting for his gold so he can get out of here quickly.
