Location: Gray Mountain (Valley) If you travel west from the edge of Silverwood Forest for 2 days, you'll reach the wild plains at the base of the Gray Mountains. This area, is called the Gray Mountain Valley, Gray Vale, or just The Valley. It is home to tribes of giants and creatures not found anywhere else. The summit of the Gray Mountains, shrouded in mystery, is ominously called Death's Spire.

Yuno decides to take a night walk through Darkwood. On her walk she finds, deep in the forest, a stone hatch of some kind. "Oooh! What's this?" She pushes the hatch open with her newfound strength and goes inside.
Perception: 18
As Yuno descends the hard clay steps and gets to the bottom of the flight of steps. She hears a click. Acting fast, she jumps forward as the ground beneath her disappears. Yuno rolls as she lands and stops on her knees and her hands, making a very cool pose. She looks behind her to see a 20ft hole where she once stood. The light from the Driftglobe tells her that there is a dead adventurer down there.
Getting a better view, Yuno finds herself in an earthy tunnel of some kind with a very high ceiling. The ceiling is 30ft high. The path goes north and then turns east. One the west side, the "Wall" is a platform that is 20ft high.
Before Yuno can explore more though, the ground shakes and an Ankheg jumps out.
Yuno acts fast and swings her sword but the Ankheg jumps away and then with its powerful hind legs leaps forwards, its claws sink into Yuno's shoulders, and its jaws drip acid into Yuno's cheek that sizzles and burns.
Yuno flinches and moves her head away as the sour acidic breath of the Ankheg falls on her face. She quips, "You're going a bit too fast, buddy. At least take me to dinner first."The Ankheg had her pinned but even so, her arms were free to do as she pleased with them. As the Ankheg opened its mandibles to bite her Yuno lunged, piercing the Ankheg's head with her magical bastard sword. The creature recoils back, screeching in pain. This allows Yuno to stab it two more times with quick jabs into the torso of the creature. The massive bug-monster had enough of Yuno and clamps its mandibles hard on Yuno croaks and sticks her tongue out as the mandibles dig into her neck, threatening to decapitate her.
Round 3 Yuno: HP 23/43 Ankheg: Dead/39
Yuno Bastard Sword+1: NAT 20 Dmg w/ Sneak: 11
Yuno keeps choking as the Ankheg keeps trying to part her head from her shoulders. She calmly grips her left sword with both hands and then drives it into the Ankheg's head. The sword sink down to the hilt and burst through the other side of the creature's head. The creature drops dead on top of Yuno, its jaws relaxing and setting her free. Yuno crawls out from under the dead creature and pulls both her swords out. She rubs a hand over her bleeding neck and says, "Yeah... I deserved that for the dumb joke."
Rewards: 450 XP

Initiative:
Yuno: 22 (Adv: 5)
Ankheg: 5
Round 1:
Yuno: HP 36/43
Ankheg: 39/39
Yuno Bastard Sword+1: 10
BA Bastard Sword+1: 9
Bite vs Yuno: 18 Damage: 6 Slash + 1 Acid
Yuno acts fast and swings her sword but the Ankheg jumps away and then with its powerful hind legs leaps forwards, its claws sink into Yuno's shoulders, and its jaws drip acid into Yuno's cheek that sizzles and burns.
Round 2:
Yuno: HP 23/43
Ankheg: 4/39
Yuno Bastard Sword+1: NAT20 Dmg: 12
BA Bastard Sword+1: 21 (Vex: 25) Dmg: 13
Action Surge!
Bastard Sword+1: 16 (Vex:24) Dmg w/ Sneak: 10
Bite vs Yuno: 19 (Adv: 21) Dmg: 11 Slash + 2 Acid
Round 3
Yuno: HP 23/43
Ankheg: Dead/39
