Cor makes his pact with the Cosmic Djinni and he finds his tome of shadows suddenly flicking through pages as fast as thought. Spells appear, one after the other, faster and faster, until it closes with a snap.
With another hand, Nafas draws lazy circles in the air. A vortex spins into being and stretches out overhead and into the passageway that the Wyrmling made home. Coins, enough to be confused with a galaxy of stars against the sky fly through the air and into the door.
Items of gold and bronze, gemstones and what looks like a small ivory fly through the air too, and a spell scroll. All join the growing hoard, floating in the void next to Nafas.
Behind them, dead though it is, the Wyrmling twitches. Cor turns, alarmed, as glazed eyes and a read scaled head twitch towards the hoard.
”The dragon’s death curse,” says the Djinni, thunderous voice mildly interested.
Flame pours through the dragons snapping, dead teeth, washing over Cor and through the door.
>>(Dex Save 13 for 17 fire damage. Nafas save: 27, 8 fire damage. Cor save: 18, 8 fire damage)
This flame is different. Darker, more wicked — its hearts flame. As it washes over him, he turns and covers himself in his cloak, patting out the flames after it has done, uncomfortably hot. Still he cannot avoid breathing in some of the smoke.
>>(Nafas receives vulnerability to fire.) >>(Cor receives vulnerability to fire).
Nafas shakes his head. He waves his hand, plucking Cor’s Arcane orb from the chain on Cor’s hip. The hoard at his side begins to spiral, and a scepter at his side turns to liquid in a crackle of lightning.
“I do not wish for you to be cursed, weaker for this tale. For fulfilling this desire, and beginning your hero’s journey. No.”
The Djinni holds both hands together and the coins of the hoard begin to sink into Cor’s Arcane Focus. Gemstones join it, as it begins to shrink and reform into a great ring.
”My wish is that this moment be a transformation for you, and our meeting a boon, if that is your wish too.”
”It is.”
“Then here.” The Djinni holds out a ring with a snarling dragons face traced by lightning on its table, and Cor steps forward to take it. As he takes the ring, for a moment he feels the cool skin of the cosmic being. From this close the genie’s voice is loud enough almost to hurt.
>>(Cor loses fire vulnerability.) >>(Cor gains Dragon-touched Focus) >>(Cor gains Feat: Elemental Adept (Lightning)) >>(Cor gains 1750xp and 500 gold pieces on return to Evergreen Hollow) >>(Cor gains the TCOE Genie Warlock Subclass)
With no more aplomb, Nafas waves goodbye and uses Teleport. In a blink and a rush of rising air, Cor finds himself at the base of the tree in Evergreen Hollow.
He waves at Dak and Bargus as they enter the vicinity of the trail the unmistakeable dust of the plains on them also.
Yuno recovers some of her energy. She is close to death. She probably should have gone back to the Hollow but she was really curious about what was up with this dungeon. Why was it there so many traps here. What are they trying to guard? What is this dungeon's purpose? She can't continue this dungeon like this so she heads back to the platform campfire to rest for another day.

Yuno rests up in town for a bit (6 SP). After some well deserved food and a bath, Yuno heads out to the Grey Mountains. However what awaited her there wasn't a giant or monsters but humans. Specifically a Knight with a retinue of Guards. As Yuno began walking past them the knight stopped her. "Halt. You are Yuno Surforge. You are wanted for multiple counts of murder, and one count of arson. Come with us quietly and face justice or..." The knight draws his great sword, "Or you shall die here." The guards lift their spears and slowly begin approaching Yuno. Yuno says, "Heh... I didn't think I'd run into people wanting to take me to prison out here. No matter. I will kill you like the rest."

As the guard passes her spins back to cut across that guard's back with the sword in her left hand. that guard stumbles forward and leans on his spear to stay standing. From the corner of her eye she sees the third guard moving in to attack. She swats his spear away with a hit from the side of her sword and then kicks him away. Just in time for the knight to move in with an attack of his own. Yuno raises her sword above her head to intercept the knight's sword swing. He quickly pulls back and goes for another swing at around the same time as Yuno. The Knight and the killer's swords clash and are both knocked back.

This was a knight's armor. How did Yuno get this?
