As you’re about to leave the beach and start your climb, you hear a ruckus of splashing and a wet, gurgling moan behind you. Three figures are shambling up from the water’s edge, about thirty feet away. They’re dressed as sailors, but their skin is gray and they look drowned. Sea water drools from their slack mouths as they lurch toward you.
As you see these shambling creatures come your way, you can also see an elf running from them.
OOC: I'm gonna start another map and auto roll initiative again, if you all decide to make combat.
"Ah, bugger me, people!" exclaims the drow elf, waving for attention as he sees the group. "Help me deal with these shamblers would you? We can do introductions after."
I forgot to mention a rule/thing I do before we started the campaign. If I don't get a response from a player for 24 hrs, I'll just skip their turn in combat until they show back up, at which point I'll let them go. This is to keep the game flowing, as in past campaigns I've DM'd and participated in, if we waited more than 24 hrs a few times, the game died out, so no hard feelings if I end up skipping your turn. Of course, if someone sends me a PM for any personal reasons or anything, I'm completely understanding. Hope you're all good with this!
With that being said, I'm gonna have to skip Kuhkay's turn and go on to Kaelen's.
Kaelen moves over to back up the drow, taking a shot at Zombie A with his shortbow. (Assuming this doesn't count for a sneak attack since they aren't close enough yet. Although A does look like it might be within 5 feet, not sure though).
To hit: 18, Damage 10 (+ 3 for sneak attack if dm thinks it counts).
Bert moves to zombie E swings his rapier, attack roll 13 for 6 pts of damage and a follow up back handed slash with his dagger, nat 20 to hit for 3 pts of damage
As he scrambles around for something to defend himself with a gnarled shadowy missile suddenly manifests in his hand. A bit overwhelmed by the whole situation, he quickly throws it at one of the zombies and runs away towards the rest of the group.
Bonus Action: Conjure Pact Weapon (Trident) Action: Throw Attack Zombie A: To Hit: 17. Deals 12 weapon damage. Weapon mastery: Topple (DC 14 Con Save or Fall Prone). Move: Up behind Kaelen.
