You reach the stairs, and despite their polished, reflective looks, they have a rough surface, providing plenty of traction. Unlike the floor, which has been threatening you with a number of near tumbles. Rikas effortlessly bounces to the top, and is confronted more void. This time however, it can be discerned that it is a hallway, going off of the endless rows of right, deep brown doors on either side. The supposed hallway is about 10 feet wide, with each door seemingly randomly placed anywhere from 5 to 25 feet apart. The rest of the party catches up and is met with the same sight.
Xondario not suprised at the site of stairs but also not happy. One knowing this tower would be aware of its ways to get to and from, perhaps knowing a more convenient lift or someplace with a better option then they have found. What a place to pit a trap, a stair case that unsuspecting intruders to find and follow.
"It had to be stairs, didn't it? Perhaps we search around, this is a big place with lots of unexplored darkness to find other options. I have a hard time believing the majority use simple stairs to climb to the top of this place. Or perhaps they all have legs thicker then me."
Hopefully the playful jest will lighten the mood with the suggestion, blasted short folk are influencing him now.
Armeros looks down the hall of doors with a thoughtful frown. "Somehow I suspect all of these are tricks. The one leading to the staff would be hidden, don't you think?" He walks a bit down the hallway, studying each door and trying to recall how the one in his vision of the staff looked.
Armeros pushes against the wall, and with a ton of effort, it collapses. After the dust clears, you can see what it was hiding. You are in a round room, with golden walls. In the middle of the room, is a table. On the table is a slim staff, emitting a dark, ominous glow. The staff is white, and completely undecorated except for the top, where there is a black orb. It is made of glass. You can see that clearly. But for whatever reason you can not see anything through the orb. You feel compelled to pick up the staff, but as you do, you are thrown backwards, your head hitting a wall, knocking you out.
To the rest of the party. As you all are doing your things, talking about what to do, you see Armeros get thrown backwards, as if they had walked into some sort of magic barrier. The hit a wall behind them, out cold.
Armeros looks down the hall of doors with a thoughtful frown. "Somehow I suspect all of these are tricks. The one leading to the staff would be hidden, don't you think?" He walks a bit down the hallway, studying each door and trying to recall how the one in his vision of the staff looked.

Jasmine will go with Armeros. He's the one who had the vision so he'd be the best bet to find the staff. She fear it won't be easy as just yoinking it and being on their merry way.
"Ah, I didn't see a door in the vision," Armeros remembers with a sigh, "But there was this feeling, like a mental wall. I pushed through it and there I was, a golden room with the staff." He walks past each door slowly, trying to notice anything that feels familiar.
It takes a while, but you find a door that for whatever reason is calling out to you. VERY strongly.
Also, I'm thinking it's safe to assume that everyone is following Armeros, since indeed, he does have the best chance at finding the staff, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

"OK, first of all, don't you guys know that Haflings are good luck? And you've got 3 of em' now! Second, what's the worst that could happen? We all die screaming in agony?" He shrugs and lets out a short laugh. "Once you get over that there's nothing left to be afraid of. Now let's get ourselves a staff or die trying!"

Xondario will take up the rear as Armeros leads to guard the rear and add the light from his hammer back there. He spends his time looking around including up and behind them assuming if something happens in front of them he will hear about it from those in the front.
