Ragella looks to the newcomer. "Lucky you weren't here a moment ago, there's some guys hunting some kenku right now." She takes the coin. "Take a seat and I'll pass you a drink in a minute."
Onyx peers down the bar at the bird fellow, "seems a little more civilized than the other" not really directing towards anyone just aloud to him self, in that moment of silence he picks his head up straight with a snap, "Music, where did the lady with the pretty voice go?" As he scrambles to pull some silver coin from his pocket and hold them up. His attention span lessening as he drinks more and more.

(Just so people know, I will be away on holiday from today for a week, so assume Ragella will be filling drinks and barring fights, but feel free to chat to people and hopefully the other staff will also keep things in check.)
The Door creaks open as a Individual steps in. A tattered cloak of crimson shrouds her form from ankle to head. With a faded blue scarf covering the lower half of her face. She takes a moment to eye the room before pulling back the worn red hood and removing the scarf. The Human womans skin is rather pale and weathered, Age becomes her as shocks of white flow threw her Cherry blonde hair. Despite the white she looks rather young, best guess shes barely into her early 30's
One by one she eyes each inhabitant of the Tavern before striding up alongside the Birdfolk and taking a seat on the available stool. She produces a couple gold pieces from the pouch at her side and places them on the Counter.
"Bottle o' whiskey when ye got the time."

Ragella places the prescribed ale for the kenku in front of him, then looks to the newcomer. "Sure thing miss, though no throwing up on the counter." She says, reaching for a bottle labelled Madame Mesmo's White Wyvern Whiskey. "This stuff should do the trick."
Emryson watches the new kenku for a few seconds before shrugging him off and putting more moneymdown on the counter to get what was probably his fifth or sixth drink. While he did seem a bit more relaxed he was seemingly not that drunk, having long nights drinking with the other in his mercenary companymto thank.
Ragella refills Emryson's tankard. "So you've all got your own stories, some of them told." She says. "Guess since you're all adventurin' types, wanna share your best battles? There was this one time I faced down a remorhaz atop a glacier. Nasty thing's intense heat was melting the area, had to use the falling chunks of ice as stepping stones." She sighs. "Oh, those were the days..."
Erywon winced at the mention of battle, all of his own involving foes that were sentient beings like himself as he had spent his youth in perpetual war to protect the lands of those that paid his mercenary band the most. While he had used his time as a ranger to patrol the wilds, he did so more as a scout then a true and nature loving ranger. While he had changed in his later years and became a druid he still knew he carried alot of blood on his hands. "Well most of my stories are of war or dealing with less peace loving people. My hardest battle was against a group of drow that caught us in a valley where theu had several tunels to weave in and out of, having a major advantage with their blasted darkvision... Thankfully the sun chased em off before they could do some real harm. Still got a nasty scar from one of their little crossbows." He pointed to one that was visible on his neck, knowing he was lucky the bolts were for incapacitating foes.
Onyx speaks up, "Battles yeah I've seen my fair share also, that's a neat little scar." as he pulls his shirt up to reveal 3 large scars that run diagonally across his abdomen. "Got these pretty ones from a wyvern protecting a sanctuary I was exploring as a hired guide. Some bard that came along was too busy reciting his latest work he didn't hear me telling him to stop moving, had to run up and pull him to safety and whack gave me a pretty good run for the money, but luckily I had my sword at the ready and there were others capable of helping me, otherwise they would have had to carry my corpse out of there"

Ragella shakes her head. "Drow are horrible creatures. Well, about 99.9 percent of them, anyway. They tend to use poisoned weapons, too so that doesn't help either. Best thing I found that works is just a good amount of smiting and maybe having a druid who can use daylight to banish their cloud of darkness. As for wyverns, not really fought that many scaly beasts. Sounds like you had your hands full thanks to one of those 'carefree' types."
Red examines the bottle as she takes it in her grasp. Watching the liquid and taking a sniff as she pops it open, Seemingly pleased at the smell she takes a swig. No noticable reaction comes from her as she wipes her mouth with her free hand.
"Not a bad drink, Reminds me a little o' home on the hit." While she had no physical reaction, Her voice is thinned out and raspy. "Aye Drow are a nasty lot, Wyverns as well. Never 'eard of a Remorhaz before. Few years back I was with this group, Good Folks the lot of em. We was spelunkin threw a series of caves in search of some, I cant bloody remember. ANYWAY, We finds this one cavern Filled with rusted armor and broken weapons. Naturally we start backin out of there cuz somethin was lurkin about, Blasted thing came upon us like butter on toast. Giant, Nearly invisible if its not movin. Oddest thing about it, it was shaped like a bloody box and it could take a hit too. We put it down but not before it knocked us around."
As she is speaking of this Death Cube, She rolls up her right sleeve. Her right forearm and hand is completely covered in burn scars.

Ragella looks the burns up and down. "Sounds like a harsh fight. You know, I know a cleric that might be able to help with the scarring. If you're staying a spell, he might be passing through any day. He'd said he's come and see the place now it's all refurbed." She then calls out to the kitchens again. "Sloth! You best not be taking a break in there, we've got hungry customers!"
The three orcs in the corner get up from their seats, grabbing their greataxes and begin to make a move for the exit, leering somewhat at the group around the bar as they leave.
Onyx gives one of the orcs the o'l stink eye as they exit. Answering to Red's story "Those blasted cubes, I've seen one before, luckily was smart enough to keep my distance and let the spell slingers take care of it."
"The creatures out in the wild and depths of caves... makes ya wonder what type of world we are in, what else is out there that no one has seen but just lurking for the right opportunity"

"Anything could be, to be honest." Ragella comments. "That's part of the adventure, I guess." She takes out a set of shot glasses, and a very potent, yet aromatic, bottle of clear liquid. "Guess your stories have earned you all a shot of gulping whisky. This stuff's from a place called Kalimport." She begins to pour one out for each of those at the bar.
The door opens up an in steps a striking half elf of slim build and olive skin. She has long midnight black hair down to her waist which is adorned with several small silver circular clasps, some of which are around small braids. Her eyes are a pale silver colour and her lips are painted a deep red.
She has a pack with her though her clothes do not appear to be meant for travel as she's wearing a long black dress made from apparently very light material, the top of it snug to her frame with the front secured with crosshatch laces, leaving an obscured but teasing look at the skin beneath.
She wears a variety of jewelery including, but not limited to, a silver bar through the top of her left ear, two small rings in the left side of her nose and many rings on both hands with a few fingers sporting more than one. One piece that may stand out the most is a silvery oval crystal, which almost seems to reflect like a small mirror, is held inside fine silver filigree set on a black choker around her neck.
The woman pauses as she steps inside, looking around warily and then peeking back outside for a moment. After apparently deciding to just go with it for now she steps further inside and makes her way toward the bar, "What is this place?"

"Good question." Ragella says, putting the bottle of whisky away."We're one of many branches you'll find here, there, and everywhere. We get travellers from all over, some people stumbling through from mixed portal jumping and the like. The Feywild has a lot of Fairy Rings and tree gates, so you may've stumbled into one of those."
Arnold wipes up the orc's table, making sure that the spilled bits of beer don't seep into the wooden table.
"So the question I have for you is what are you wanting to drink?" Ragella adds.

He then looks back and forth between his coin and the barkeep, slowly edging it forward with his eyebrows raised...
