(Kinnik is STOKED to see Cap)

Cawing loudly in surprise and greeting, the kenku locks arms and bear-hugs his large warforged friend. Then, noting a loose bit of brass scrollwork on the metal man's shoulder, he attempts to silently pocket the filigree.

"Hey, buddy! Good to see you too! I got something for you!"

Cap rummages around in his pocket and pulls out a little bag. He tosses it to Kinnik.

(gold ingots? Candied walnuts? An illusion scroll?)

Emyrson listens to the stories they tell as he sips at his drink, keeping to himself once more as he seems to be lost in his own thoughts.

Gevaar the Goliath approaches the warforged and taps him on the shoulder. Inquisitively he states "Pardon me sir, I don't mean to bother you, but I've never seen man such as yourself. Where do you hail from?"

Inside the bag is(rolling for trinkets)... (Ha, perfect!)a lump of coal.

(Kinnik suddenly feels even better about his lift a moment before)

"Hey, what's wrong? Don't you want it?"

Kinnik's eyes widen, afraid he has offended his friend.

"Nay, brave Hector- what gifts heaven brings us!"

"Ah, good. You actually can see it. Everybody I show this to says that it's just a lump of coal! I mean, it's obviously a gem, right?"

Kinnik nods slowly. He respectfully hands the coal back to Cap (as though he's handling a robin's egg), then pockets the small bag (green velvet with a tiger's eye tassle)

(Sorry for not posting. Been very unwell this past week and trying to get back into posting.)

Main Hall

Ragella looks to her now pretty full bar. "Well, guess there's a round going for everyone." She says, pulling some pints of ale for each of those requested. She heads to the goliath first. "This stuff's pretty strong, but that's about all it's know for. Dark dreams of dragons. 4 copper." She passes it along to him. She then looks to the well adorned warforged. "Don't usually see your folk wanting a drink, but guess it's more of a pasttime than anythin'." She looks him up and down. "The 'best stuff' really depends on what you like, and how deep your coin purse goes. I can do you a really good mead, crafted from the honey of the bees found in this place called Solamnia. That stuff's 5 gold a glass." She then gives Kinnik a smile. "If you want songs and tales, perhaps you an' Kelryn can do a duet later?"

(Whoops, didn't realize there was already a performer here...)

(Not to worry, having more than one performer at a venue is totally fine ;-) )

Ana was focused on watching the Kenku until the warforged wandered in and her eyes go wide at it, jaw opening slightly before she catches herself and snaps it shut.

She takes another second to compose herself and sips on the very good wine, "Quite the range of clientelle." she offers to Rag.

Cap fishes a platinum out of his coinpurse and hands it to the bartender. 

"One for me, one for the Kenku."

Stalker takes his drink downs it quickly "another" he says as he places 8 copper on the counter.

 Kinnik beams at Cap. Struck by inspiration, he gingerly pulls a small leather-bound book from his cloak. He gestures excitedly to Cap and pours a bit of beer onto the countertop. Without taking his eyes from the pages of the book, he holds his hand over the puddle and repeats, "Feldorrin"

...And nothing happens. Slightly crestfallen, Kinnik lets out a deep sigh and, toasting Cap, he slugs the rest of his beer.
