Dagron is uncomfortable in the marketplace, as he is uncomfortable anywhere but endless battle. He talks with the smith, getting a good price to trade in his chain armor and upgrade to splint for the battles ahead. He keeps his face covered by a black mask, concealing the massive network of scars. He concludes his business grimly, keeping to himself mostly.
(Also purchased 6 potions of healing)

Seeing another halfing I rush over. "Yahlfel was your name? I think I hear you say that, great to meet you my name is Halfer Nimblefingers!" I grab Yahlfel's hand and shake it vigorously.
"Another halfling!? perhaps this plan has a chance after all! Nice to meet you!" Yahlfel's disposition softens.

"Yes! We are going to have so much fun, I seem to always find the neatest things when I wander about. Hopefully I can find something you can use..." I wiggle my fingers like I'm casting something.....

Halfer Niblefingers lvl 5 Rogue - A War with No End
Started in 82 and played until the early 90's. Migrated to dial up BBS and played pbp.
Played: D&D, Gamma World, MERP, Star Wars, Star Trek
As we have 10 players, for things to run more smoothly we should probably split this into two groups. (of five) I will make a separate thread for the second group. But I will let you guys divide the group (try to divide it so that each party has the same classes).
@Infinity DM: I never mastered on pbchat, especially here, but from what I see the other masters created campaign sending the link(s) to the players who will join with their characters.
as you wish
And for splitting the parties, I will try to sum up:
So how about Ajax, Yahltel, Halfer, Dust, and Tempest in one party.
Sogasri, Dagron, Farin, Folzi and Archibald in the other.
@InfinityDM when you create a campaign, there’s a link you can use to invite people. Just message it to those people. There is a question about what content you have, though, not all of these classes are available with the basic(free) content. If that’s an issue, we might just trust players to take care of their business. It’s a game that’s only fun if you play honestly after all.
Sogasri catches Dagron's eye. "I'm Sir Sogasri. Please feel free to call me Soga. It's good to find some like-minded people." He reaches out to shake hands and gives a polite smile.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

(I applied earlier, I just didn't make a character just yet. Here is Tempest's Sheet.)
Tempest Doombringer quietly follows the crowd as they purchase their equipment. Despite being a tiefling, she doesn't look particularly nefarious or evil. She is blue-skinned with goat-like horns that sprout from her white hair. Demure, tame, and predictable - these are the things you can expect from Tempest, despite her name.
Over her chain mail, she wears white robes befitting a priestess of some sort. It seems that little birds are perching on her horns.
Reference Art:
(I can't tell - was it decided we ARE arming ourselves from nothing? Or did we get starter equipment?)

I'd like Sogasri to try and see if he notices Dagron's scars behind his mask.
Perception check - 20
edit: yup, he sure has a face.
Paladin - warforged - orange
Ajax follows the others in the market place.
ooc: am I in the game, didn't receive any PM, anyway
@DM: anyway, I am interested as well in the answer to the questions asked by Sauted Monkey and Sir Walrus II
i.e.
10 characters?
500 gp from nothing or 500gp + starting equip?
Sorry for not making it clear, the 500gp is with starting equipment.

Oh shit, we split them almost the same lol. I just put the two Halfling in the same party since they seemed to already be striking up a conversation
Paladin - warforged - orange
@dndpro100: Looks like a good split to me. No need splitting the halfling's that have seem to hit it off.
I'd say the DC for noticing the scars is a 5. The exposed parts of his face still have scars visible.
Coriana - Company of the Grey Chain
Wagner - Dragon Heist: Bards.

oh sweet.

So how is this splitting going to work, exactly? Are you going to split us after we're done at the market, or have you already made a separate thread?
