Meepo reads the paper with his two hands, looks back at the surprised kobolds, takes another good read at the paper and finally replies to them with an obvious confused expression on his face.
"You mean there are a couple of kobolds, risking their lives working on something for someone without care from the dangers of orcs living around these parts?"
Meepo points with his scaly finger at the Goblin sentences on the handbill.
"Second, what is this Goblin nonsense written here? 'Sneak Dragon into ‘Lek-Lek’s’ Opening'?Even though I am fluent in this language, not even I can understand what these sentences means."
"Maybe neither of us very good at Goblin," Gadi says to Roar, scratching his head sheepishly. "Maybe you can help? We need to write message in Common too, but we don't know how to spell in Common. We try to say 'Come to see dragon in Lek-Lek's mine'. We don't mind other races in NAGPU 312."
Roar puts his hand over his heart and says, "ROSCOE'S RAIDERS! THEY NOT AS FRIENDLY AS US IN 321 OR 231. I REALLY HATE 231."
The others in the group see the quieter kobold scratch his head sheepishly while responding to Meepo. The other kobold then says something loudly again.
"If you have something to write with, a chalk or coal for example, Meepo will gladly help you in your problem by correcting this handbill and writing it in the Common language below but first..."
Meepo makes a gulping sound as he stares at the two before continuing with a quiet tone.
"How can I know who are these Roscoe's Raiders and how can I avoid them? It's just in our nature to steer away from danger so how about help a fellow kobold in need?"

"Gah!" The kobolds shout as Aradurk approaches. One of them wields the paintbrush defensively in front of him, and then relaxes and addresses Meepo again.
For Meepo and Travus:
"Warn a kobold before you have a friend jump out of the bushes," Gadi says. "WE ARE ROSCOE'S RAIDERS! NAGPU LOCAL 312!" shouts Roar.
Gadi nods in agreement. "And please to tell your friend to put his blades away. We are a friendly union, there is no harm to avoid from us," he says, and hands you his paintbrush.
The others still can't understand what is being said, but see the quieter kobold hand the paintbrush to Meepo.
Bartram stays hidden where he his has he still doesn't know what is going on as the Kobolds keep speaking in a language he can't understand. This whole situation is starting to make him feel nervous. Even though everyone seems to come out of hiding, he stays where he his until he better understands the situation.

“Spirit. In every language in all the Realms, surface and Underdark, in every time and every place, the word has a ring of strength and determination. It is the hero's strength, the mother's resilience and the poor man's armor. It cannot be broken and it cannot be taken away.”
Travus turns and whispers to the party, "This just gets weirder and weirder. Now they're talking about... uhh, unions? I wonder what Meepo is up to. I'm interested to see how far this will go."
Meepo takes the paintbrush handed to him as he talks at the union members while making his corrections of the handbill.
"This half-orc gentleman right here knows a few people that might want to join your union. I'll ask him if he is interested and act as his translator."
Meepo turns to Aradurk and sternly salutes him to show them he is someone important.
"Leader, these two kobolds right here whose names are Gadi and Roar, are part of Roscoe's Raiders and a member of one of the two unions called NAGPU 312. They advocate friendly relations to other races and willing to take them as members unlike the other union called NAGPU 231 which they vehemently hate.
I am currently helping them correct their handbills, saying to come look for them at a place called 'Lek-Lek's mine for a dragon. They might know those Roccar's Reavers mentioned by Old Poe. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them while I translate it to our native language."
“ Nice work Meepos. See if they recognize the panther statue Old Poe chucked at Karst. I wonder why they could not have made the names of the opposing unions a bit different, eh?”

With Meepo translating for those who have approached, the dialogue flows a little more openly. The kobolds shake their heads when asked about the figurine, only offering that it has great craftsmanship. After Meepo finishes the sign, they speak in a friendly manner. "Oh thanks you very much," Gadi says, "This will be so great for tourism. Even though we friendly with other races though, NAGPU is for kobolds only. I do not know why though because I do not know what NAGPU means."
"IT STANDS FOR KOBOLD JOBS AND KOBOLD WAGE EQUALITY," Roar explains.
"Then why we are paid nothing, Roar?" Gadi questions. After an awkward silence, he snaps his fingers and turns to Meepo. "You say about orcs earlier. We see orcs, but there is no worry of danger. Orcs were afraid of something, in the mist. We know because sick orc was left behind. He tell us he is from Moon Pass. He say he was sick because he could not see out of his third eye. We give him handbill and he trade us a shiny arrow."
As the others walk out of cover, Travus does the same. "I guess we're done hiding." Travus seems to take more interest after hearing about the orcs being afraid of 'the mist'. He speaks to the kobolds in Draconic, "Might you know anything about the 'mist' that the orcs told you about?"

Being a spy Bartram feels more comfortable being hidden whenever he gathers information and as much as he would like to stay hidden it would seem that now wasn't the time. Following the others lead, he comes out of cover but stays at the ready just in case. Hearing something about an orc being left behind because he was sick Bartram begins to think that if he was still alive and around he could be a good source of information. "Meepo, could you ask them about this sick orc and find out if they are still alive and possibly if they are still around. It might be a good idea to question them if they are." Bartram then keeps his eyes on the Kobolds to make sure they aren't lying to them and aren't hiding anything.

"SURE, JUST GIVE ME A MOMENT," Roar says, and rummages through a pack, pulling out the arrow. It is indeed "shiny", and is clearly magically crafted.
“Travus - please allow me to help you examine the arrow for more detail we might glean toward its arcane properties.”
”Meepo - did we ask them if they were familiar with the man we identified as Old Poe at all? We should be mindful of the day we have in front of us. We have much ground until we reach our destination.”
"So we start to see the weapons surfacing already.. This does not bode well, I think we should make all haste to Rauvincross unless our new friends have anything else to share with us" Karst says as he properly joins the rest of the group.

"Let me ask one last question before we head out since I also think we need to make haste while there's still time.
The orcs won't be waiting for us and the local settlements near the Nether Mountain are still in danger of being pillaged by them."
Meepo turns back to the kobolds for another question.
"Have you seen a senile old man, walking through these parts of the forest riding on a sickly horse?"
