Backstory: Zephyr, the grand acquisitioner, who would not stand to being identified as something so lowly as a crook or a criminal, was once a thief of great standing within the thieves guild until he took a magic item of great value to the guildmaster. He tried to flee with the item but its magic went astray parting him from the item and the guild. He since has found an interest of travelling through old tombs and practising his skills of tomb robbery which he labelled “archeology.”
Backstory: Corin Steelshade once served as a guard in Port Nyanzaru, the bustling heart of Chult. For years, he fought to maintain order in a city plagued by corruption, warring merchant princes, and outside adventurers seeking fortune in the jungle. But despite his dedication, Corin grew disillusioned with the constant infighting and the city’s reluctance to address the growing darkness in the heart of the jungle. Rumors of ancient curses and lost souls spread through the streets, but every investigation was shut down, buried under politics or fear. Frustrated by the stagnation and knowing that the city’s safety was at risk, Corin resigned his post, refusing to be another cog in a broken machine.
Now, as an independent investigator, Corin has taken up his greatsword once more, determined to uncover the truth behind the jungle's mysteries.
I"m very sorry folks, but I'm going to have to withdraw my offer to run this campaign. I've had some life events come up this week that make it near impossible for me to fit this in. Again, I apologize.
No worries. Life comes first! Hopefully everything's fine. If you ever do have a chance to run this, I'm sure you'll have no problem finding players. : )
