You go back to the cave and find 1 spider lurking around outside. It recognizes you and phases away, and the Eladrin comes out shortly after. "Look who's back. Do you have any knowledge to give me?"

Whisper will let Beans do the talking since he has the ring. Meanwhile she will focus on watching Kygga carefully.

“Your gift was refused, but you were regarded well!  I’m not so easily convinced but I’ve taken the ring- so be it, what would you have us do?”  Beans straightens up looking Kygga in the eyes.

Your insight shows that he is being truthful, although you see a vengeful hunger in his eyes when mentioning Scarlet Cross that may not be as noble as his intentions of destroying the Glass Dao.

Whisper sighs, approaching the eladrin and handing him the clay plate reluctantly. "You may want to take a look at this. It was buried right outside the cave."

He looks at it for a while, confused at first. He hands it back to you slowly. "So, from what I understand, the Dao is still evil, but only because of... some higher force controlling him. I have an idea, but it's a risky one. We trap the Glass Dao and interrogate him. But we'll need a bigger group for that. Or does anyone have another plan?"

Morgot thanks the smiths for their fine work, then heads to the library.

The fine library, which suddenly has much less people. The halfling in the front desk, who's always sleepy from what you've heard, is now wide awake. "Don't use the 3rd floor, there was an attack up there."

"The 3rd floor? Isn't that off limits? Who was attacked? Do they need help?"

"I'll tell you this. I'll defend that room for the next 24 hours. I won't go in there, (Paladin's oath) but I'll protect it from intruders."

Thrudor looks at the mousefolk and the surrendered cultist "Oh Hello there. It seems we have gotten here late. Well then what is up here that so many of you came to the off limits floor?"

Clapper, feeling rather cheery after a battle, responds with a grin.
"Off limits? The sign says no one cares! But either way, was just seeing what was up here when these fellas popped out of nowhere, trying to I think recruit me? Have you heard of the red blood group, or something like that? Oh, and by the way, thanks for helping out! don't know how you knew something was up, but I probably would've gone down if it wasn't for you surprising this goblin feller!"
Clapper casts cure wounds on himself for 7 HP before turning to the priest lady.
"I should probably be asking you. What mess were you tying to get me into, and why are you up here? Didn't you know it's off limits?!"

"That makes sense, I guess." Whisper admits, a little surprised Kygga is being so reasonable about this. "What, us and your spiders won't be enough? I guess we can try to find Thrudor and Morgot again." She looks to Beans with a shrug.
