Garrick is going to repeat his attack on the one holding him.
A: (8) for a miss BA: (19) for 8 dmg
If vamp tries to bite Garrick, he’ll use Shield as a reaction. Striker moves over to Kess and prepares to use his reaction to impose disadvantage on all attacks against her. (or anyone else being attacked with 5ft)
That's the thing, the stat block for both vampires and their spawn says that it only works while in their "resting place" (the crates). The effect varies between spawn and true vampires. Spawn are "destroyed". As for advantage, unfortunately not. The grappler has no debuffs (that I can remember) except having halved movement due to dragging the other person.

Kessintra's life flashes before her eyes as the vampire strikes her and goes for a bite, only to be thwarted when Striker jumps into the way. At last realizing how dangerous of a situation she is in, she tries desperately to slip out of the undead's grasp.
Action: Acrobatics to escape grapple (with advantage from Skipper's help): two 11s -.-
