I think getting her home as soon as possible is a good idea. It would be quicker than trying to find the thief. I know of the Lake Sember. After we get her settled in, then we could try and find the despicable fiend that stole her ambulate.
Mathias excuses himself and just on a hunch runs to Elminster’s tower banging on the door and talking with the door knocker, “My friend is dying we need your help! The mage of Shadowdale is by all stories able to magically transport from place to place, oh Lliira let him be in just this once, please!”
"Getting her home seems like the most reasonable option, although we will need you to come with us, Gwanlynn. The effects of your spell will only sustain her for a day at most, if I am not mistaken. Repeated castings will be required." the ranger says.

The magic mouth greets you as an old friend and thanks you once again for taking the knocker out of it's mouth. Sadly friend, El has not yet returned from his travels. I am sorry for your friend.
Sylvantras knows of Lake Sember located in Semberholme. The most direct route would have you leading your party through the Mistledale woods toward Peldan's Helm, where you should be able to rest for the night if you wanted, then south into the Semberholme. It'll take roughly four days to reach Peldan's Helm, it's through the forest so no wagons but you might be able to work your way on horse and roughly cut your travel time in half.
"It's four days if all goes well to get her home, maybe two or so should we procure horses. Either way, we need your help, Gwanlynn." the ranger pleads.
Count me in! I will join you on this journey and will do what I can for Marion. I think horses are a good idea, as to get her home as quick as possible. If that's ok with everyone. The less time traveling the better. But I am open to whatever everyone agrees to.
“Horses are wonderful let’s get enough to ease our journey and save Marion from this horrid affliction!”
Mathias will unhitch and ride his trusty mount Broody. If it works out perhaps the Brewery can sponsor us for horses in exchange for the land title we recovered.
Just to clarify, it's a 2 day ride, 4 day walk just to get to Peldan's Helm then another possible 2 day ride to Lake Sember, that part is an estimate as none of you have ever been in that area.
You manage to navigate the Mistledale without issue, Sylvantras leading the way. (just for good measure can you make two survival skill checks for me) Gwanlynn stays near to Marion, leaving Mathias to be her eyes and ears as she keeps constant watch on her. Gwanlynn realizes on the first morning that she will have to cast her spell again, and again on the next morning. She surmises that her spell will only work for 24 hrs.
As you pull into the small town of Peldan's Helm your greeted by a shopkeeper sweeping his porch area, ah Feanor Gwanlynn! Welcome home! As he waves at your cleric.
Greetings my old friend! Zep, how are you old man? Staying out of trouble while I was gone? Gwanlynn turns to her group I have a place here where we can stay. Let’s head over and get some rest. I really want to check Marion and see how she is doing and if I need to cast my spell. We can leave first thing in the morning if that’s ok with everyone.
On the western end of town is a small rock structure that looks to have at one time served as a church or temple. Inlaid on the sturdy wooden door the symbol of Berronar Truesilver, two silver entwined rings. Inside you find modest furnishings, a main living space, bedroom and a study/storage/catch all room.
You get Marion settled on the bed, a fire started in the hearth, which take up almost one whole wall. Gwanlynn doesn't have much of anything in the way of food stores and someone will have to run to the town well to draw some water. I'm going at assume, unless otherwise mentioned, that Gwanlynn will visit her friend at the local tavern for take out to bring back and will draw some water on the way.
While she's gone Mathias works on the song, after playing through it several times you finally get the melody set, well to the best of your knowledge. The song mainly deals with the love between two elves, and mentions Semberholme and the banks of Lake Sember only in the chorus.
Unless there's something else you'd like to do, we'll say you all settle in for the night. Somewhere about the third watch I'll need the elves to roll a perception check for me.
Sylvantras is "awakened" from his trance in the early morning hours by the sound or Marion's shallow, raspy breathing. It would appear that Gwanlynn's spell is wearing off early.
"Gwanlynn, wake up! The spell seems to wearing off early!" the ranger exclaims, while beginning to cast his own healing spell in hope that it will stave off the effects at least temporarily.
Mathias wakes up feeling the urgency all around. He goes to find a teapot and perhaps some fruit to share with his friends well aware they are doing all they can for Marion, “Please my Lady of joy let this tale have a happy ending too!” He prays.

And about that time you can hear Glowkindle behind you, oh dear, what has happened? Yes yes, anything I can do to help.
Then we ride a riding horse each and Mathias’ mule Broody for carrying our extra gear let’s ride like we mean it…

*Survival Check 13 & 13*
"So this is home, eh?" Sylvantras asks. "Anything we need to be or perhaps would want to be aware of here?"
"Anyway, a bit of rest sounds good, Gwanlynn." the ranger adds. "Leaving at first light would be fine."
Let’s just see what more of the elf maiden son Mathias can recall…
performance 8 (oh no that’s not how it goes!)
If anyone has heard this song please help me out and sing along…
Performance (second roll assuming some help) 13
that’s a little better…

Coming back to full consciousness following his evening's reverie, Sylvantras stretches and gathers his armor and weapons.
