Gwanlynn wakes suddenly and runs to Marion. Curse the heavy sleeper that I am. She casts the spell [spell]Spare the dying[spell] again on Marion. It looks like the effect of the spell is not lasting as long as it did before. I think we need to move fast to get her home!
The healing spell seems to have little if any effect on our dear Marion. Thankfully Gwan is roused from her slumber and quickly cast her spell, Marion's breathing returns to normal, she seems to be stable again.
Mathias rummages for a kettle and finds one, starting water for tea. Mathias make a perception roll for me.
By best guess it's still a couple of hours before sunrise. You've all had a long rest.
While searching for a tea pot you came across a small cloak brooch pin, a silver harp, hidden in a drawer. You've heard stories of the Harpers operating through the dalelands and possibly beyond and this is similar to an item one may carry.
If Mathias is in a kitchen area who normally works in here? Mathias will locate the individual and subtly ask if they prefer the shawm or the harp, wink wink
The party is two days into the Semberholme, the forest has become incredibly thicker, making passage for the horses difficult and slowing your movement speed by almost half. Marion's condition continues to worsen, now the dwarf cleric is forced to cast her spell three times a day just to keep her breathing steady and some color in her face.
As you break for camp on that second day you are all weary and have the utter sense of being lost. Sylvantras has done an amazing job picking the easiest route toward what you believe to the direction of the lake. You all feel as if you should see some sign of the medium size expanse of water on the morrow, but it's difficult to keep your hopes up.
"It almost seems as if the curse that has befallen our friend is taking its toll on our journey as well as Marion's body." Sylvantras laments. "If I haven't gotten us all hopelessly lost, we should arrive at our destination tomorrow, or perhaps just a bit later."
Gwanlynn moves over to Marion to check on her. I will cast the spell on her right before we rest for the night and will stay with her. We really need to get there quick, she continues getting worse.
The night passes uneventful. Sylnantras leads the way come morning, and you travel for most of the day without any sign of a lake, just more trees. You do note that the size of the trees has increased, these are the largest any of you have ever seen, and due to the size the forest floor below them has cleared up quite a bit making your traveling a lot easier.
Sylvantras starts looking for suitable place to make camp when he spots what looks like a trail leading off to one way. As you follow it you can hear the sound of music coming from a head, then around the next bend in the trail you notice it...
Before you is what appears to be a village, very well build and hidden here deep in the woods. Milling about are elves, elves with brown skin, some with greenish skin. A few notice you, some wave in greetings, others look at you with obvious weariness, none have yet to approach you though.

You're still in Gwanlynn's place.
I think we need to be ready to move as soon as the sun rises. The faster we get her home the better!
Yes let’s get on our way!
"Agreed." the ranger says, gathering his things.
Gwanlynn starts packing things up. Does anyone know where we are going?
Mathias quietly hums a song he’s been composing about Marion defeating the mummy and saving Shadowdale!

the first light of the new day just breaks the horizon. Everything is packed up, gear, supplies, poor Marion, and traveling companions.
Here's a quick reference of where you are. Is there anything else you'd like to do before we head off?
Nope good to go…
Ready to get poor Marion to someplace that might be able to help her...
((I'll get us updated this evening. Until then, can Sylvantras make me two survival rolls please))
