I’m ready to get out of here both in and out of character 

Ok, everyone else ready?

Everyone’s ready now. Let’s roll. Can we assume there was a short rest?

All set to go, what cantrip for the scroll, would I know/or be able to figure it out during the trip?

(Ismenow) You decide wich cantrip it is.

(nshrock) Yes

You pick up your things and start to make your way towards the village of Jedburg. You ride for half an hour on the forest road until it opens up to miles of farmland. The village is surrounded by miles of farmland wich is surrounded by tall mountains. It is meant to look like a regular village as to hide the fact that the king resided there. The guard brings you directly to the guard post at the entrance of the village and pays for your horses stablings as he brings you in. He invites you to sit down while he gets someone of higher importants, giving you all a chance to talk about what you've seen and heard.

"I had assumed I'd passes out due to the blow from the bugbear, but it seems that we all were out for some time. Did any of you happen to have an odd dream?"

(Cantrip word of radiance if that works)

“It was blurrier and yet... more lucid than a dream. I heard someone talking. The Cycle.”

Sogasri holds his hand over the emblem on his chest for comfort.

"Yes, and something about they cannot stop it. Any idea who 'they' are or what they're trying to stop?"

“I heard the same voice with the same message.  Do we tell them about it... or um would you think they would think that we are crazy?”

(ismenow) That works, although you cant learn cantrips from scrolls, you can only cast them. (just thought id give you a warning)

Sogasri leans in close to them, and whispers "It seems to me that patience is in order.  Three may know something about it.  Also, we are moving against the grain of popular belief by trying to end this war, as it is.  We don't know who may decide that they are our enemies, and would use talk of 'visions' and 'voices' against us.  For now, let's keep this between us."

(everyone) just so you know, it is very early in the morning.

Lirvar will look a little surprised, "You're trying to end the war, how? And three? Is that some kind of tribunal you report to?"

(Ooc sorry, I know whats going on but Lirvar came in late and doesn't)

“Let’s talk later. We can find out where we all stand.”

"Hmm... I too had visions.  I agree we should keep our visions and our true mission as circumspect as we can."

As you're talking, the halfling guard walks back into the room with a small bag of gold. Here's your reward. He hands over the bag containing 400gp. I can probably also arrange for a free stay at one of the taverns here in Jedburg if you'd like. He pauses a bit awkwardly. Oh, uh I'm Reed. Reed Sturdyfoot. And uh, who are you?

"Good to meet you, Sturdyfoot.  I'm Sir Sogasri, Knight of the Shield, and follower of Urogalan.  This is Alwyn, Dagron, and Lirvar.  We appreciate the generous gratitude, and are in need of lodging.  We'd enjoy your company, as well.  I'm afraid we aren't as informed as we ought to be about things in Jedburg.  The tale of what happened to the king would be much appreciated, we'd even buy the first round."

That would be great, but uh, im on duty and probably will be for the whole day. Maibe tomorrow?
