OOC:  I may have gotten too excited and looked up all the prices.  And of course we can vary it if we want.  4 horses, a wagon, two tents, 2 saddles(figured we could take shifts riding and being pulled in wagon) feed for 10 days would be right about 420 gp

There are stables in Jedburg and Oakendale where you could buy horses and they also offer to take care of your horses for a small fee.

According to phb 2 horses and a carriage are 185, can carry 4800 lbs.  figure with feed for horses and 2 tents round to 200 gp.  That means I keep 10 for myself.  Which I’m fine with if this is how we want to go.  I am also fine walking.

“A wagon isn’t a bad idea if we’ve got to carry someone or something, too. The bugbears may have one if they’ve been robbing farmers. I leave the decision to you, and I’ll contribute 20 gold pieces for the effort if you choose to get it.” Sogasri holds up his hands in a *it matters not* gesture.

”I appreciate your generosity in this decision.  I think it will make our travels that much easier.”  A repressed smile creaks over Alwyns face as he bows just a little too much when taking the gold pieces from Sogarsi.  “I’ll be waiting with the horses and wagon by the gates when everyone is ready.”  I wonder what we will name the them?”  Alwyn sets off to make accommodations and buy two horses, a wagon, 2 tents, and feed.

On foot 1.5 days, on horse most of a day.  Getting a wagon would be good If your planning to capture the leader.

Sogasri leaves to buy a set of manacles, and go wait at the edge of town. He’ll spend his time waiting for Alwyn preparing spells, then checking over his sword, shield and armor before strapping them on.

So are you leaving for the camp or do you have more preparations beforehand?

It’s probably a good idea for folks to give some sort of “I’m ready to go” post, or give them a day or two before we move on. I think we’re ready.

Folzi follows along with Alwyn in procuring the transportation. He is relaxing in the back of the wagon as the rest of the group arrives.

OOC: Yeah, I'm ready to move forward. Sorry a busy weekend as typical and don't have as much time to post. Also, how much are we each kicking in for the wagon, horses etc? Folzi has a good amount of gold still.

OOC:  it was 200 gp total, chip in what you feel is appropriate, but I did have it covered.  Alwyn isn’t one to pay too much attention to coin.  I’m good to go.

Sogasri chipped in 20gp.  I know a couple of us don't have much in the way of gold left.  even basic martial gear can be expensive lol.  When you're trying to manage martial gear AND spell components?  yeah...

ps: don't anyone die.  we don't have moneys for diamonds to revive anyone yet.
