Tyrus will take the room for the night and exchange his splint armor for a set of plate armor (let me know if the final cost is less than the 1,500 gp after the exchange).
Thagakh and his group walk for about a half an hour following the directions of the City Watch. Most in Waterdeep are humans but there are a variety of other races represented. Many people in the city seem to go about their lives without much care for what others are up to. From time to time you see what would look like a noble, a priest, an adventurer, and many commoners. When you arrive at Aurora's shop, the only indicator that you were at a magic shop was a capital A on the sign with wisps of gold dust paint swirling around the letter A. The shop was very small compared to others nearby. A small bucket was next to the door with a hand panted sign that said listen to the mouse. A small white mouse was resting near the bucket by the door.
"These magic shops sure have weird rules. First one was to eat their candy, Thagakh is not complaining though, it was a very delicious candy. It was the establishment's location that was awful.
This time is a talking mouse. Arafiel, could you take a look at it. Thagakh sure is wary of merchant spellcasters after that sudden trip to Shadowfell."

Believer of the almighty one, the Alpha and the Omega, whose love encompasses all of his creations, RNGesus.
Started as a player at time of registration. Started to DM a month later. Hoping to get better as time progresses.
In a city this large, Tyrus easily finds an armor shop. The shop keeper makes him two different offerings.
His current armor is worth 200 gold pieces referred to as Dragons. The first set of armor is standard knights plate without flair or style. This set would cost 1500 Dragons.
The second set is polished and dyed black. Emblazoned on the chest is a black platinum dragon. The helm resembles a dragon head and gauntlets looked like dragon claws. The cost of this set is 1800 Dragons.

As each item enters the bucket it seems to slide in just below the level on the top and disappear. Upon reaching in to retrieve the weapon, it is easy to pull back up and out. Thagakh must put all weapons inside before the door will open. He forgot to put the fire breathing potion into the bucket and the door would not open. The mouse yawned again and said "All weapons..... please and thank you."

As Thagakh passes through the door at first it is dark. After just a moment a translucent mist swirls around him and he hears a very sexy voice. “Welcome mighty orc. I am Aurora. It appears you have faced many different kinds of creatures prior to coming to visit. What could I provide for you that can match the special power inside of you?”

"Good night Aurora, my name is Thagakh whose profession is a blood hunter. Thagakh came here to buy some fancy medium armor.
Thagakh had encountered a lot of creatures with his friends. From creepy one-eyed cave dwellers, giant spiders, dragons, groups of cultists, and a whole lot of undead.
As you can see, Thagakh's armor is battered. Thagakh is planning to buy a fancy half-plate to replace Thagakh's scale mail but Thagakh only has a total of 780 gold.
Though it saddens Thagakh to part with a weapon that resonates with his wariness of woodland creatures."
The half-orc deeply sighs before he continues.
"Thagakh is willing to part with his Hew to make a fair deal. Thagakh hopes to survive longer to help his friends during their journey and perhaps take another dip with all of us in Phandalin's hot spring after we finish."
"Mr mouse, if you can relay information to my friend i can front him some money if he needs any, i dont know what he has or wants but i have some spare change as it were"
Aurora says to Thagakh, "If you are willing and interested in my proposition, here is what I offer. I have a magical Half plate with my mystical A on the chest. The armor provides the user the ability to cast the shield spell twice per day on the wearer of the armor. The cost would be 1000 Dragons plus your Hew axe."

Tyrus contemplates the styled set of armor for a long time. Even with the value of his current set, the cost would nearly bankrupt him. He had always found decorated armor senseless, a baseless cost that provided no extra protection. Yet something about the armor he was looking at called to him. Visions danced through his mind, of rolling through evil forces with the platinum spirit of his god Bahamut providing a righteous backdrop for the sigil on his armor, with the Shield of Bahamut strapped to his arm.
Outwardly shaking his head at the uncharacteristic purchase, but inwardly dancing, Tyrus counts and converts his 1,616 gold pieces worth of coinage, and makes the exchange.
OOC: After the conversions, Tyrus has 1600 gp, 111 sp, 575 cp. With the exchange of his 200 gp armor, that should leave him with just 111 sp and 575 cp. Let me know if that's not correct.
Thagakh makes a late night visit to the aforementioned shop of magic, inviting his fellow party members who wants to come.
Arafiel tags along out of curiosity

"Thagakh doesn't know if the bucket can hold it but that is not Thagakh's problem."
The half-orc stows his Biter, Hew, and Greatsword inside the bucket before he enter the mice-guarded shop.
"Hello? Thagakh is here to do night shopping. Please tell Thagakh if this place is in some weird plane so he can get ready."
"One at a time eh, alright. Dont worry Thag i dont believe this is like the last store, and i shall watch your stuff"

That looks correct. If you want to exchange some of those smaller coins for larger denominations, you can with the merchant.
