"I trust my companions with my life. Perhaps once we have lain the dead to rest there will be time for you to reflect upon your predetermined judgment of people. I am sorry about your fallen men. I wish we had been able to save them all," Tyrus tells the commander.
That battle felt as if it took months. We need to regroup. What in the hells happened to Thagakh and Ras?
"Let us take stock of the situation. How many have fallen?"
OOC: I have added experience to each character. Some of you have leveled up.
As the Commander checks his men, he finds only two still alive. One can be restored with minimal care. The other will need magic and time to ever return to his original strength. The battlefield and bridge are covered with the remains of Orc, Hobgoblin and human victims as well as freshly killed Waterdeep troops. Many of the horses and hyena are killed or severely injured. Three warhorses seem mostly unharmed from the battle though clearly spooked.
There are many sets of Hide armor on the dead regular Orcs. They each carried a Greataxe and a small pouch. The Orc elites wore chain mail. They also carried Greataxe and a javelin. There pouches are larger. The Orc mages wore hide armor. Each had a magic supply bag, a spear and a large pouch.
The Hobgoblins wore special ornate plate armor and a special shield. They each were armed with a special long sword and a dagger. Their mounts had a small chest on it. In addition to what they each carried, there is a large tent with the spoils from raiding groups who approached the bridge.
There are 18 dead Waterdeep troops that can be searched if you so chose.

Ian helps the commander with the two survivors from his unit. He expends one use each from his healer’s kit. “ What is your plan now? We have a goal. As soon as we clear the area, we need to continue on.” Ian says to the commander as he starts stripping the Orc of their valuables and gear.
Ian makes a pile of what he finds and drags each body to the side of the road for burning.
The Commander replies with his head hung low over the body of one of his closest friends and fellow soldiers. “As soon as these two are able to ride back to Waterdeep, I will request a detail to retrieve their bodies and personal effects. You all may keep the extra horse for your wagon. Take whatever loot from these fallen foe. You have surely earned it. Please help me move my men just a bit away from the bridge. Over by that tall Oak should be best.” He gestured towards a tall tree just off the road before the bridge. Though weakened himself, the Commander is able to carry the body of his friend. He pulls a blanket from the soldier’s pack and covers the body.

Ian helps Arafiel with the Waterdeep troops taking great care to keep each man separate and with his own supplies. After completing the work with the commander, Ian goes to check on the Dire Wolves and the supplies. “I will move our gear closer so that we can put everything together.”
Over the next hour, you are all able to set up a recovery site for the dead Waterdeep troops. Eighteen wrapped bodies bring the victory a more somber mood than would normally follow such a great triumph. Ian was able to pile and strip the regular Orcs. Twenty six Orcs each with hide armor, Greataxe, and a dagger. Ten regular Orcs also possessed small pouches.
The pouches once emptied added up to 34 copper pieces, 42 silver pieces, 20 electrum pieces, and 30 gold pieces. Five gemstones were found (Tiger eye, Blue quartz, Azurite, Bloodstone, and Amethyst). One set of engraved bone dice and two viles of potions.
The five Orc War Chiefs each wore chain mail armor and carried a Greataxe.

Upon searching the tent that was occupied by the Orc Mages, a few interesting items were found in a medium size chest. There is a tattered but neatly folded robe with patches all over it. There is a figurine of ebony in the shape of a large fly. There is a small silk bag with a gem inside. Underneath the items are about 25 platinum pieces.

Tyrus is drawn to the weapons and armor of the Hobgoblins. Each wore the gear of a general. The plate armor is very ornate. Each shield seems lighter than expected and with a strange aura when held in the right light. All longswords are silvered.
"Shall we split the coins and gems evenly?" Tyrus asks, picking up a silvered longsword and stowing it for the time being. He will also take one of the strange shields to study further once the party takes a rest.
"Let us gather our spoils and find a place to recover before we continue."
Ian loads the armor and weapons into the wagon. He places the chest of coins and gems at the front of the wagon before picking up the ebony fly. “I will set up camp over there.” He says as he points to the edge of the road near the woods.
He turns to the Giant weasel and says “go look around to see if we are alone.”
After about an hour off finishing the camp setup and gathering supplies, a meal is served . The Commander and his two men ride back to Waterdeep. It is closing in on evening. All characters benefit from a short rest.
