The redhead's eyes briefly widen with surprise as the pesky cultist suddenly appears right beside her, but she draws a sigh of relief as the myrkulite falls to a wellplaced dagger from Zim. Hoping Arkon and Zim would be able to deal with the pile of undead rats, Val turns to help her fallen comrades, her head still ringing from the concussion.
Medicine check to assist Sarris in stabilizing the fallen: 9
Sarris looks over his shoulder as he ministers to the fallen comrades. "Many thanks Lady Flaemden. I can wrap a wound or splint a leg but this is pushing the limits of what I can do for these two."
"I do have onePotion of Healingwhich I was holding in reserve for a dire situation. Is this the moment or should I look forward to worse as we delve deeper?"
(With the healer's kit you can choose either one to stabilize first. No need for a med check although it is high enough to bypass it. Either way, it'll stabilize both Durak and Gorin.)
With careful movement, both Valeria and Sarris help with the fallen Durak and Gorin, alleviating their pain for now. The skeletal rats still persist as they bite at Arkon once more.
"I don't want to sound too callous but perhaps save that potion for now. We need to fall back and recuperate anyway as soon as Zim and Arkon have turned those pesky vermin into bonemeal." The redhead says in a hurried voice, giving the elf a pat on the back before turning to rejoin the fight, her head still ringing. She was relieved the team was still intact, it would not look good on her resume to have lost team members on her first mission.
Meanwhile the tiny invisible devil flutters over to assist in bringing down the revolting mass of undead rats.

Her cute head still ringing after the concussion, Valeria stumbles back, peeking into the chamber where Arkon is swarmed by the skeletal vermin, unleashing a hellishly red beam of eldritch crackling force towards it's edge to not risk striking the goliath.
Sarris mutters words softly to himself and opens his cupped hands for Goodberry
Selecting a berry, Sarris will mash the berry between his fingers to get a good few drops of juice to fall into Gorin's mouth; followed by poking the mashed berry into his mouth.
He will repeat the juicing and poking of a berry into Durak's mouth.
Popping a berry into his own mouth, he savors the juices as the berry bursts between his teeth. Sarris will rise and prepare himself for some undead rat hunting.
Zim crushes more of the rats, the swarm considerably smaller now. And Valeria takes a step into view and blasts the last of them away.
Combat Over - 313 XP gained
Level Up
Mini-boss defeated (Benefits of a short rest shall apply to characters, will still need to use HP Dice to recover health.)
(Durak and Gorin are the only exception as they are unconscious from combat. The goodberry will work, took a bit of a deliberation but if its out of combat then it'll work.)
Arkon exhales in relief as the last of the rats are annihilated by Valeria’s spell. He blinks, glancing down at his feet where the vermin once swarmed, then looks up to see her standing there. Without thinking, he strides over to her, his usual heavy steps quickened by concern. He stops just short, visibly restraining himself from pulling her into a hug.
“Is everyone...?” he asks, almost hesitant to find out. “That…happened so fast.”
"It did, I thought we were dead there, but everyone is alive at least." The redhead says, smiling up at the massive goliath as she weakly leans against a wall beside her. "I'm still a bit dizzy I'm afraid, and both Gorin and Durak have seen better days."She says with a concerned look over at the others down the corridor, then looking back up at Arkon. "Hardly a scratch huh?" She says with an impressed tone, looking him up and down, then suddenly stepping forward, partly hugging him, partly leaning against him, although barely reaching his waist. "Thanks, you did well big guy." She says quietly. For some reason she hadn't expected it to be this close. Her parents would be furious if she ended up as a walking corpse in a sewer, what a gossip that would have been, but they wouldn't be particularly thrilled about her having a goliath to lean on either as she barely avoided the fate. "We should get out of here." She says, loud enough for all in the team to hear.
Sarris peeks around the corner to see Arkon and Val talking before going back to Gorin and Durak. He passes out 3 more goodberrys to each of them before popping the last berry into his mouth. "Every bit of health counts down here."
(G & D add 3 hp 'healed')
Sarris will help them both onto their feet as he echos what he heard Val say, "She is right, we need to regroup and get to a safe... safer spot to recover from that necro-witch."
Zim heals from 27 to 34 hit points to heal up full.

Sarris sees the necromancer drop as he twists about. Looking up and down the corridor, he notes Durak and Gorin are missing.
As best as he is able, he will move back down the corridor to see if they are still in the side doorway they had passed earlier.

Stumbling upon the two on the ground, Sarris will check them over. Medicine Check: 16
Seeing how they are in bad shape, he will dig into his pack and bring out his Healer's Kit and get to work on them both.
