Assuming that you use gloves and heavy bags to store the delerium, and if you want to handle crystals for the hunt, you can easily avoid the corruption that comes from exposure.
Delerium Hazards When a humanoid creature touches delerium without protective gear (such as gloves or tongs) for the first time on their turn, or ends their turn in bodily contact with delerium, they must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or take 1d6 necrotic damage and gain one level of contamination
As the DM I can override these rules. I just wanted to present you the published rules from the adventure, as written. I think the idea is that slow speed grants the ability to use stealth, which can avoid encounters but because it's slower there is no advantage. You may be right, but normal seems like the way to go.
Huh. Interesting. Well since Jasmine will be in heavy armor stealth is a no go anyway so I guess I'll be spamming normal searches. It just seems like the best option
Jasmine does not have any tongs or other protective carriers so she lets Yoko, Teyvon and Domi do with these fragments what they will. Since they've only been here an hour and nothing has happened, Jasmine will continue to search the estates.

Domi handles the crystals with heavy leather gloves and stores them in a protective sack.
3 hours go by (4 hours of exposure) and you find more fragments and shards.

Wait. I want to clarify something. Jasmine would not spend 3 more hours searching the estates. She would spend at most 2 more hours on the estates before moving on to the broken city walls.

Understood. After 2 hours of estate searches, you spend the next 2 hours making your way to the nearest Inner City Gate. The question is, which gate are you approaching?
Approaching Shepard's Gate "Aye, you there. I am Gate-Captain Jacob Slovak, and this is Gate-Captain Raine Highlash (both are urban rangers). You need to get to safety. I'm sorry, Shepard's Gate is secured by the Hooded Lanterns. None shall enter through this gate."
You see a dozen veterans and thirty scouts, troops digging trenches and building wooden stairs and guard houses on and around the wall.
The rangers have installed additional defenses all around the gatehouse. Wooden hoardings are built over the walls and tower battlements, and they’ve dug ditches lined with wooden stakes below the walls. Finally, a wooden barricade supported by sandbags has been erected on the road. Several ballistas are deployed atop each tower.

"Good day." Jasmine greets the guards. She explains, "We are simply exploring the outer parts of the city to try and find anything useful that might be used to fight against the Haze. We did not mean to intrude. We were simply checking the crumbling walls and seeing what we can find." She pauses before looking around and asking, "It seems you have made a sort of base camp here. Do you mind me asking how you stay within this haze for long periods of time? And is there anything you need help with in regards to fighting off the horrors of the haze?"

"Horses." Jacob shouts abruptly. "Our military horses are trained to endure the effects of the haze. We use a system of patches and badges, sewn into their tack, to keep them on an exposure schedule. Each guard tracks their own exposure to the haze and before they get sick, we send them on horses to the outskirts of the city where they can rest and return."
"Now that I look over you and your group (insight (23), I think you can help us Lanterns. Raine will give you a map with arteries that have been cleared, and some that have not. Take these horses and this wagon and make deliveries to each of these locations and then return."
Resupply Mission. The Hooded Lanterns need the characters to travel into the Inner City and resupply several hidden caches and safehouses.
Jasmine feels that doing this mission will help at least somewhat in keeping the corruption at bay but she is a bit concerned about the party's exposure levels. She says, "I do not speak for the rest of our group but I myself, would be happy to help you deliver the supplies. However, I am worried about our own corruption. The last thing anyone needs is more people falling sick to the Haze. So I must ask... How long do you suppose this delivery mission will take?"

"If you look at this map, you can make six of the eight drop-offs in about 2 hours. The last two drop-offs are a bit further, each one will take another 2 hours, that makes six hours total drop-offs and then 2 hours travel back here. We will have swift horses ready for you to travel to safety, if you can complete the supply run in 8 hours."
"We do this run daily, it's just that the last group of Lanterns never returned from the run."
Jasmine says, "Alright. That sounds doable. I will help you do the drop offs though... I am a bit concerned about the group that never returned. Maybe I will look for them at a later time. Can you please give me any information you have about the missing group? I may want to ask about them to the people at the drop-off points."
She then turns to the rest of the party and asks them, "I am not here to force you to do things just because it is something I myself wish to do. What say you? Will you accompany me on this supply run or would you rather stay here and continue to search for shards?"

Domi says, "I think I speak for the others, but since you found a way to the inner city, we are sure to find more crystals. Right now, my protected sack is close to full and I have two more heavy leather sacks. If we fill them, we could sell these crystals at the Mill and then trade for magic items at Emberwood. This is going to be quite an efficient relationship. I mean, our goals are to eliminate the curse too but we need weapons to fight the haze and this seems to be the most efficient course of action.
Jasmine agrees. "You are quite right. Honestly I could use some better equipment myself."
She then turns back to the Lanterns and asks them for identifying info on the missing team, just in case she encounters them or finds out what happened.

They provide he details, names and descriptions (The DM will need to work on this, but your characters have it already. Will write more in the next few hours)

This is good enough for me. Even if I don't know the details, Jasmine would probably be able to use this info to just recognize clues and people if and when she encounters them.
Thanking the Lanterns for the info, Jasmine gets on the horses and heads into the inner parts of the city to drop off the supplies. Using the map that the lanterns gave her, she sticks to cleared out alleyways and passages to try and avoid danger from monsters and unknown hazards as much as possible.
Raine gives you a rough drawn map, with a description of three Lanters, their wagon and horses.
Raine also gives you a wagon, filled with food, dried meats, rations, and barrels of water, enough for each outpost. She also gives you four potion of healings.
You spend the first 2 hours visiting six safehouses, each with two or more Lanterns who sing your praises and give you 1 fragments each. All six locations remember the last group of Lanterns to make deliveries. "They were a shy group of boys. We saw them, delivered our supplies and went on."

Questing Knight. A Silver Order knight on a warhorse with a retinue of 7guards are searching for lost relics and holy sites in the ruins.
"I am Ser Virgil Underwood, of the knights of the Silver Order. I can tell by your patches that you are from the Hooded Lanterns. Be warned, any further into this haze and you will find Deep Haze. The rules change when you breath in that stuff."
