Vaelin, can I get a perception check for listening at the door?
Yutari, as you go towards the door on the left side of the big wall, it opens freely, leading to a hallway about 20 ft long, continuing to the right, with a door on the left corner of the hallway.

You open the door, and see 3 clearly drunk thugs playing cards with a goblin. The goblin immediantly turns to you, and back to the thugs. "What the-" He says. One of the thugs mumbles and points at you three. "What're you doin' ere? Who are ya?" This gives the Goblin all he needs to know you aren't with the mob. "Attack!" He shrieks, and the thugs stumble out of their chairs.

Wet beard thug: 2
Mug that has a large stick rather than a proper mace: 15
"It's locked. Let me try and open it" Valelin says as he pulls out his thieves tools.

You work around with the lock, and manage to unlock the door. It opens slowly, revealing a hallway, with two doors on either side.
Vaelin puts his tools away and moves into the hallway. He listens at the door.

You hear voices coming from the left door, all male. You can't discern what they are saying, however. At least 3 voices can be heard.

Vaelin tells finnian that there are 3 people in the left room. Yutari, the hallway infront of you beckons. Will you answer?
Finnian walks over to Yutari and says “Seems llike Vaelin hears three people on the left door.”
Yutari nods and joins back with the party, "Is it locked?" She whispers as she reaches forward and checks the door if it is.
The door is infact, not locked. It is made with a dark oak, and it's handle is a simple metal.
Vaelin says in a whisper, "Do we want to open it and deal with them or move on and see if we can find another way out?"
