"We will find a way to get rid of that mark" the dwarf answers "for a moment I thought I could be able to do myself, but truthfully it is beyond my power. I think finish the job and killing those red wizards could be a good start. For now we can do nothing more than continuing our path against Tiamat. Although I am now more afraid than ever before"
Before they leave, Eric speaks directly to Khessa's Sword "Hazirawn, you claim those wizards are your enemies don't you? perhaps you know something about their mark I don't"
Khessa smiles, more confident now: "Yes, since the Queen od Dragons thinks she intimidated you, we might catch her off guard if we act quickly".
The blonde arcane warrior seems ready to look for transport to the previously agreed destination... but she keeps an eye on her sentient greatsword, curious to find out whether it knows something that can be of help or not.
Eventually, Zale gets tired of waiting in her room and decides to make a mad dash through Kni's quarters and rushes to where Eric and Khessa's rooms were. Unaware of the troubling ordeal that had transpired between the two, she knocks on the door a few times.
"Oi! D you two be up yet? Or do ye be sleein this day away?" She glances back the way she'd come as if expecting kobolds to just appear behind her.
Like a pet, Kni is behind Zale with a mouth filled with food. When Zale looks back, he takes a knee and bows his head to her. He tries to speak but is unable to be heard through the snacks he has been consuming, at best sounding like a gagged preacher.
Due to her cursed perception, Zale had not noticed Kni following her. That said when she glances backwards, she lets out a startled gasp, even stumbling backwards slightly and thudding against her friends' door. Then the bronze scales on her face take on a redish hue due to embarrassment which swiftly shifts to anger.
Then she also remembers that she's currently holding the circlet... which she was going to show Eric. She quickly shoves that back in her satchel, before turning and banging on the door again.
"Come on! I know ye ain't sleepin. We going after that mask or not!"
Khessa appears from behind Eric... looking more worried and less cheerful than usual... "They're right, Eric..." she tells him, before exiting "We must go after that mask, before the Queen of Dragons can discover our intentions and take countermeasures".
"I'm ready" she declares to Zale, falling in line with Kni behind the dragonborn friend.
Before they leave, Eric speaks directly to Khessa's Sword "Hazirawn, you claim those wizards are your enemies don't you? perhaps you know something about their mark I don't"
You see? Magic is nothing but trouble! From what little I've heard I think the Wizard that places the mark also places a safeguard, preventing to much interference from Tiamat. I suggest seeking out that Wizard. He can probably remove the mark as well. The only other option is... Bahamut...
[OOC: I'm sure that when you guys drop off al that gold and silver someone from the council is willing to provide some means of transportation]
Jean trails after Zale and Kni on their way to Khessa and Eric's room, mouth twitching up in an amused smile at the kobold's enthusiasm. She raises a hand to hide it, sobering as they approach the room and see the distracted couple. She nods at the decision to pursue the mask first. "Works for me, and I agree with you all, the sooner we find it, the better."

"Bahamut, the other dragon god. It is right, and somehow I feel I could be able to reach him one day, he should be willing to listen and help us agains Tiamat" Eric thinks before taking Khessa's side, ready for starting another adventure...
So, for the sake of brevity you find some council members, Zale hands over all the gold and silver in the Bag of Holding (she gets to keep the Bag of Holding) and you bring up the trasportion problem. Boareskyr Bridge doesn't have a teleportation circle, but you are fortunate that Taern “Thunderspells” Hornblade is powerfull enough to use the Teleport spell. He is willing to bring you to Boareskyr Bridge, but can't stay with you. Given your generous donation, he is willing to give up a Teleportation Scroll.
Khessa continues to remain aloof; she follows the party but takes no initiative of her own... She accepts the Teleportation Scroll, if it is offered to her, and thanks, albeit less warmly than usual, Taern "Thunderspells" Hornblade.
When the spell instantly transports the party to their destination, the blonde arcane warrior doesn't object, and once they arrive, she looks around...
[[ OOC: So the scene now shifts to Boareskyr Bridge? ]]
After Hornblade wishes you luck and teleports back to Waterdeep youhave a moment to look around. You find yourself near a settlement that is little more than a collection of tents, wagons, and caravans. A large pavilion near the center dominates Boareskyr’s tent city. A nearby bridge spans the Winding Water. Constructed of black granite, it bears sculpted images of the deities Cyric and Bhaal, commemorating the legendary battle they fought on the bridge during the Time of Troubles.
Shortly after Hornblade vanishes, Khessa suddenly gasps and... begins to curse: "That damned five-headed worm... That frustrated scaly loser... That dim-witted dragon butcher... She was inside me!" Her blue eyes are so furious they seem ready to flash at any moment "I'm finally myself again! But that bastard has been inside me all this time! She knows what we have planned!"
"Luckily, thanks to the teleport, we should have arrived here before she could have prepared who knows what countermoves" the blonde arcane warrior, lucid and active again, thinks aloud. "At best, she'll be able to warn Varram - but maybe we can find him before he can disappear".
"Perhaps," the tall adventuress suggests "we should first go to the Paladins from the theocracy of Elturgard who maintain watch over the bridge in the newly built keep. They are the first ones Leosin told me about… And after that we could head to the large pavilion near the center of Boareskyr Bridge’s tent city, so as to gather more rumors".
Eric circles Khessa with his hand "calm yourself dear, for how I see the things, You're not her prisoner but it's Tiamat that is imprisoned with you" he says laughing "and she'll pay for this. I think she has less power than she claim otherwise her actions would have been by far more detrimental" thereafter he watches ahead and start walking "let's find them then"
Khessa hugs her beloved dwarf, while heading to the kerp already: "Thank you so much Eric... I saw you didn't hesitate to even challenge her, a dragon-goddess, to defend me. I was so scared slwhen her power reacted... I was afraid she might harm you!"
"But she couldn't"the blue eyes of the blonde arcane warrior shine with relief. "Yes, I also think she is not as mighty as she claims! And pay she will!"
"And as soon as we are back with the Mask," the tall adventuress promises to herself "I want to find a way to get rid of this Mark It has had its uses... but its drawbacks seems to increase, while its usefullness decreases... I don't want it to stay. I'll find a way to get rid of it".
Once at the keep, Khessa explains that Leosin sent her on Varram's tracks, and asks for the latest rumors about him.
The Paladins try to be helpful, but they only know that a Dwarf in purples robes killed a Yuan-Ti spy. They only heard about it afterwards, apparently he left quickly. They suggest you to visit Bolo’s Tentside Inn and its female Halfling proprietor.
