Apa nods "Seems the detective has some decisions to make. It is his investigation that has gone south. How do you investigate a mob that has infiltrated all walks of life?"
The detective lurches foward as you slit the man's throat, but it is too late. He watches as his corpse falls to the ground, his hands still outstretched. "We didn't need to kill him," he says, in a reasoning tone. "And we aren't going to uncover the mob by killing everyone in it. Our first priority is to find the helmet. Once we root out the corruption in our local workforce, then we can track down the mob's allies. We need someone to travel to the local village, and alert the guards there about this building,"
(Also I'm so sorry that this reply was 2 days late)
"He was of no more use to us, or anyone. Besides. I'm sure he'd rather this than sit in prison for the rest of his life. Where is the village? And who should I alert?"
"The village... oh, that's right. We have no idea where the village is in comparison to this place. The best course of action is to exit this base and walk through the forest until you find a road. Then, once you reach The Village, or a village, then you must search for any guardsmen, detailed by the armor they wear. Even a corrupt one cannot turn down a report of a kidnapping, lest he be found out,"
Once Sirrus leaves, the detective finally answers Apa's question. "Simple. We deal with the mob as we do crime. With diligence, duty, and most importantly, compassion. That's the reason why we were able to take down the boss here. You three had enough compassion in your hearts to do what is right. Don't think I've forgotten about your pay, either," he says, gratefull.
"Your right, we can go through geffanos office, but you are pretty hurt," you remember your injuries from the skirmish, the wounds flaring up once more. "So I reccomend against alerting anyone else that the boss is dead. I hadn't considered prisoners, however,"
As for Sirrus, he can see the exit door by looking at the window Geffano leapt out of. He could try to climb down withought taking fall damage with an Athletics check, or by some other means.
Apa nods after looking at her wounds and realizing she hasn't patched up yet. She magically heals some of the wounds (lay on hands) by praying to her god Persephone.
You all hear a thud as Sirrus lands at the bottom, taking 3 bludgeoning damage. Peyton, you remember all too well the dangerous 10 ft drop that aided in Geffano's defeat.
The detective was a little caught up in Apa's healing spell (magic isn't generally found in small time towns, but it is well known), but as Sirrus lands, he rushes over, peering down. "Are you alright?".
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Peyton jumps down and stuffs a goodberry into his worst wound then binds it with a bandage for 4 healing. Then says "Suck it up." and heals for 6 more.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Sirrus thanks Wysperra for the healing and heads off into the forest. Survival check to fine a road or something that leads him to the the village: 14.
Sirrus, as you leave the building, you notice a rabbit nearby the entrance. There is a small clearing outside of the door, but the rest of the area is woods. Regardless of what you do at the entrance, once you enter the woods, it takes you 5 minutes to find a road, stretching to the left and right.
(Also Peyton, how did you use a goodberry to heal for 7? Unless you put 7 goodberries in there, in which case, poor sirrus... also I assume you used a different spell for the 5 hp. Don't forget the fall damage of 1d6, unless you want to attempt an athletics check to climb down)
The detective finally answers Apa's question, "I think we should check the office", and walks inside. Some of the blood leaking from a thugs corpse creeps towards your shoe. There is a single copper coin floating in it.

I used the Healer Feat Battle Medic - 1 HD (1d6) +2 healing. The goodberry was just for show. Then Healing Word for 1d4+4 healing.
Question - If Peyton can jump up 15 feet, wouldn't it be plausible for her to jump down 15 feet? It wouldn't make sense for the game to create (two? three?) species that can jump up a distance and kill themselves coming back down.

Apa nods "So what would you have us do if Sirrus is going to the village?"
(Compassion. Thinking about the dead guard right now haha)
Sirrus will do more tomorrow, I got to go for now.
The detective leans up against the wall. "We wait," unless you want to do something else," he says.
Whoops, forgot about Sirrus sorry.
(Is there any sort of map we can have of the hideout, or the places we've been?)
Sirrus will do his best to find his way out of the hideout.
I won't yet continue since something will probably happen lol.
Apa scratches her head "Wait here...What about the other thugs in this hideout? Other prisoners? Maybe a room with detailed plans?"

"Let's at least check his office then"
(does anyone have a way to heal Sirrus at all before he leaves? He's pretty beat up.)
Sirrus will take the shortest route, out the window.
Athletics check: 5. -.-

Ah OK, thanks for elaborating. Also yeah, that makes sense, to avoid complications we will negate fall damage then.
Apa follows the detective in and looks about the room
