Gairlik looks to the others and then shrugs. "Speaking for myself... Sure. You are my ride after all back home. I think that would be easy enough... It seems someone in the guild is branching out. What are you going to do when that someone comes looking for their loot?"
She chuckles to herself, "I have a plan for that, that's why my crew will be preoccupied. If anyone comes looking, they shouldn't even recognize us."
Ashlee speaks up "I don't believe I will joining you this time folks, I'm under doctor's orders to not doing anything too stressful, my arm and shoulder are still healing"
"Anything we need to mention so that Newlin knows we're on the level with him?" When the captain gives the orders to his "eyes and ears", Gairlik smiles and give her a knowing nod.
"Hmm, it's been a few years since I've seen him, but he should still remember me. Just tell him you're with me. Also, if he offers to cut you in on any 'business opportunities' , I'd steer clear. He's good at facilitating the buying and selling of merchandise, but he is as shady as they come." she laughs to herself.
"Whelp, this sounds easy enough,"something in Gairlik's voice points to the fact that the dwarf does not believe his own words. He begins to pat himself down, checking to make sure he has everything, then looks to the others. "Let's get a move on then."
** if anyone wants to do anything before leaving you can still let me know.
You all make your way down the gangplank onto the dock and into town. Porthcrawl is less then half the size of Oakharbour, a fishing village primarily, as you can tell by the smell and all the fishing vessels the ship passed on the way here. The sun is getting low on the horizon as night approaches, but you still have some daylight left.
**None of you have ever been to this town before, let me know what you want to do.
You all take a walk down a street or two before coming across "The Silent Moon Inn & Tavern". You can hear music and lively chatter coming from inside, and it smells of good food.
Ixalin spends a few minutes inconspicuously walking around the tavern listening in on people's conversations. He hears people discussing the days catches. People talking about random personal stuff. After a few minutes he hears two men at a table mention something about Anton.
Lady Chandra approaches the two men who mentioned Anton. "Greetings, gentlemen. I couldn't help but overhear you say the name 'Anton'. I have business with a man named Anton Newlin. You wouldn't happen to know where I could find him, would you?"

The two men sit up a bit in their seats and look around the tavern before sitting back down, "He ain't here tonight" says the man on the left. The other man adds, "Yeah I haven't seen him in a couple nights, he's prol'ly been real busy lately, with the new job and all."
Gairlik finds a comfortable spot at the bar and orders an ale to sip on as the whereabouts of Anton are procured. Turning to Tonk, "So...,"he pauses awkwardly looking for something to talk to the goblin about."I see you found yourself a new pokey-stick there?"

“Count me in. Like I said, we owe you one.”

"Tonk do anything for Cap'n." Tonk looks around at the rest of the people before locking his eyes on her and begins watching.
"Tonk, my boy, you're going as my eyes and ears alright?" *she knows full well you won't remember anything important.

Tonk looks around, does Tonk see a tavern?

I’m going to cast the ritual Comprehend Languages before leaving the ship.
I enter the tavern and start listening for anyone referring to Alton.

Tonk drinks his to his fullest content, he cares not what people are talking about.
I walk over to Gairlik and Chandra and point out the table with the two men.
“Perhaps one of you may be more persuasive then I? Those gentlemen seem to know our man.”
