The normally peaceful tiefling's bolt strikes with similar precision, wounding the monstrous hybrid in the thigh. The hideous creature is bleeding from the two wounds it just received and appears to be in pain and slowed down...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Spira sighs resignedly as the giant spider appears. "This was the fun part last time too, Dar ... " She breaks off short in instructing her husband as the unholy arachnohumanoid hybrid's outline slowly appears out of the shadows behind its ... deity? steed? mate? Whatever may be the relationship between the two, the unusual combination is enough to raise even the worldly Sergeant of Arvandor's eyebrow. But when Roxana and Dawnborn both pierce the creature with their shafts, she turns her attention back to the giant spider as being a closer and larger target. She draws a quarrel out of her case as if she was also about to shoot; then she snaps it forward in a spinning whirl with a prayer to her goddess. A swirling marble of moonlight forms on the tip and then streaks out at the vast, multifaceted eyes.

Spira's swirling marble of moonlight unfortunately passes just wide of the target, missing it. It wasn't easy, after all, to aim with so many people in front...
Aidwyn holds the line with Darvin and prepares to meet with sword blows the first enemy that dares to approach.
He doesn't have to wait long, because Spider-Man, glaring at Dawnborn, lunges forward, first down the corridor... ...and then starting to walk on the north wall, almost as if it were a 'second floor' for him!
As the monster passes high up in an attempt to reach its prey, Aidwyn reaches up as high as he can and slashes its leg with his sword, trying to make it fall!
[[ OOC: Since the monster threatens her beloved Dawnborn, I'm having Aidwyn using one of her Superiority Dice to perform a Trip Attack, if she hits ]]
The young heroine once again shows all the explosive power her body is capable of: the blade practically cuts off the monster's leg, which with a loud and horrible cry collapses to the ground in a pool of blood and lies dead.
Darvin simply comments: "It got what it deserved" and prepares to strike in turn, when the spider approaches.
Mival, from the rear, seems impressed by the offensive capabilities of his adventure companions - in the meantime, Gaer and Anita take aim at the monstrous spider...
The two new ranged attacks also hit, easily finding vulnerable spots in the chitinous exoskeleton of the large target - who also cries out in pain and staggers. He seems seriously injured.
The party expected the massive arachnid to leap at any moment... Instead, a wound opens up on its forehead as if out of nowhere and, after a final cry of indignation and surprise, the chitinous colossus collapses to the ground, never to rise again.
Seeing both foes fall, Roxana looks around at the others. "Alright, everyone ok?" She takes a moment to see that nobody is wounded before suggesting, "Shall we continue? Cautiously."
"OK, I'm going back to 'opening the way'..." Anita declares, starting to burn the cobwebs again with the lit torch operated by her floating disembodied magic hand "You just keep ready to 'handle' new visits".
"It seems like you know how to handle visits quite well..." Mival comments, after a low whistle of approval, noting that the party has gotten the better of their enemies in a matter of seconds.
Maybe that's also why no new visitors show up? In any case, the 'clearing the path' operation is completed without problems and the party is finally able to access the new room.
From the threshold, it is possible to see that there must have once been an imposing double door, the hinges of which are still visible (although there is no trace of the door).
Scattered around the room (still flooded, like the rest of the level - the water is at the same level as in the corridor), you can see several large barrels with the names of fine wines along the sides. The wine inside, however, has long since turned to vinegar.
Towards the center of the area, however, a disastrous collapse of the ceiling (and the ground above) has caused debris and earth to fall into the room, smashing the barrels that were underneath - in that part, on the ground, nothing remains but a pile of heterogeneous debris that acts as a small island in the flooded room. In correspondence with the collapse area, between surviving festoons of cobwebs above, the light from outside, from the surface, filters.
Rash cracks his knuckles and decides to proceed at the front of the formation now.
"Have I ever mentioned how much I love that spell?"he chuckles as he sends the Unseen Warrior that just slashed the giant spider's face in half into the next room. "Taking Blinn's mad ramblings seriously was probably the second best decision I ever made..."
He gives Anita a loving look, making it clear what he considers his best decision to be.
Anita reciprocates the gaze and, this time, instead of keeping the usual light attitude, she blushes slightly.
Meanwhile Mival observes: "Great job! But this unfortunately seems to be a dead end... The only way out is towards the surface... should we head towards the big corridor? The one where is Geados with his boat?"
Roxana takes a brief look around the room they've arrived in. "This does look pretty empty. And in bad shape." She does check to see if there are any signs of other hidden exits. Especially to the north. "Just glancing around real quick before we head for the other passage," she adds as she looks. (Perception: 10)

The couple performed a quick but efficient check and came away with the impression that this was, for all intents and purposes, a standard fine wine cellar, with no secret passages or other features unusual for this type of room.
