Hearing nothing, he tries to push the door open to see what's on the other side.

Yes you do get a surprise round the turn order is 1. Seraph 2.Udon 3. Fioz and 4. The primate

The blow to the primate’s ribs renders it unconscious from pain. The Primate goes down instantly and a lump starts to form on its forehead.
With the primate unconscious, Seraph takes a better look around the room and checks the radar. The dragonballs should be nearby.
