My character will have no spirit animal to start off with, he just has a bow

Hey just checking in, what stats should I dump and wut should I main? Idk what ability scores do we use to use abilities/cast spells? I'm assuming wisdom bc most nature related classes are wisdom based, but idk 

Also, can our spirit animals be not strictly an animal? Like a construct or an ooze or something? Or does it have to be animal-like. I know we can't have humanoids, but can I have like a stone golem or something? (Not that I want a stone golem, that's just an example.

Also, what class should I put. Like I know we don't have a class, but for HP what should I choose? I'm assuming druid or ranger, but idk

Your spirit animal is your class from what I’m told, i chose druid because it just seems right for an animal cmapaign
