Just beyond the cavern you were just in, the path opens out to two other caverns to the north and east. The cavern to the east you see a body of water, while to the north you see the cavern has many different colours imbedded in the walls. Which one will you go into?
You head east and come out into a large cavern filled with a large pool. You see two things in the centre of the pool: The first is a giant pillar that comes from out of the water and goes all the way to the top of the cavern; and right next to the pillar is another corpse, floating in the water.
Zoveldra gives a quiet sigh as they spot another body. "We should retrieve it. Check if it's Anric."She hopes one of the others has a magical way of doing this, as she doesn't trust the water.

The mage hand pushes the body back towards the edge of the pond. You see that the body, while pale and bloated, also has a strange skin condition that seemed to afflict the human before death.
Zoveldra is able to ascertain that the skin condition was present before the death, perhaps lived with by this individual for a long time. She also comprehends that it might still be possible to contact the disease, even off the dead body.
"Indeed, it does look contagious...This water, could it be...? Do you think the slums' water supply is connected to here? Could her remains be causing the sickness?"
She tries to study the broach without getting too close. Perception: 18

LANDMOP unfastens the brooch and avoids contracting the wasting skin disease. Now you stand near the pool, the column rising from the middle, but no other exits to this room apart from the shaft you just came through.
You walk out into a medium sized cavern that is very rocky underfoot. Embedded in the walls are many colored rocks of different sizes. You also hear a faint dripping or tapping sound that seems to be coming from within the walls around you. In the center of the room is some disused heavy mining equipment, clearly long derelict. At the north end of the room the cavern once again closes down into a mine shaft.
