Realizing he lacks much more physical strength, the bearded bear uses the last of his magical prowess he has left. Casting shield another time, he is fortunately able to defend against a killing blow.
'And my commander said magic would be a waste of time,' Zephyros inwardly scoffs, thankful he spent more time studying than sleeping during the great war.
Still feeling quite weak, couging a few times while getting on his feet, Rasziel quickly takes in and assesses the scene and spots the annoying harpy above, swiftly sending two purplish beams of hellish flames towards it.
"I don't make deals with monsters," Gareth calls out to the now invisible green hag. "Show yourself."
If Rasziel's attacks do not slay the harpy, the ranger will aim another pair of arrows at the creature. Otherwise, he will hold his action until either the green hag or the merrow haranguer reappear, unleashing his arrows upon one of them instead.

Kithranhits the Merrow just before it dives into the water, while Zephyros' shield protects the warrior from the last attack on his person.
The room completely clears of the misty fog, providing unobstructed view of the entire room. Two passageways can be seen in the east and south sides of the lighthouse basement.
Rasziel's eldritch blast completely destroys the Harpy, It falls to the ground gasping for breath through a crushed chest cavity. For good measure Azazelattacks with his stinger, quickly finishing off the creature. The group, for the first time, sees Rasziel's accountant. A tiny Imp.
Garethwith bow drawn, waits for a target to present itself while goading the Green Hag to come back into view.
Alisande, too waits for a target while hovering over the water. Wand at the ready.
With no visible targets, Meiradecides to remain invisible. She knocks an arrow to her shortbow, preparing to fire should any target show itself. (Steady Aim then Ready a Shortbow Attack: 23, Damage: 6 piercing + 3 sneak attack - yes, that was 4 1's for damage!)
Kithran looks around through ember eyes. Seeing that all his opponents have died or disappeared, the paladin walks 25 ft. towards the southern walkway. His maul close by his side, ready to swing if danger approaches.
Action: Ready attack. 24 to hit, 13 bludgeoning, 6 fire.
As the Merrow Haranguer breaks the surface of the water to fire her longbow, three arrows pepper the creature in the head. It shrieks for just a moment, before disappearing beneath the water line once more. She sinks dead from Garethand Meira'sarrows.
For the time being, combat is ended.
The Green Hag speaks to Zephyros, "It's not what you can give me, but what I can still give you..." The voice is soft and enticing. You then hear another voice coming from seemingly nowhere, Silvara's voice, "Zephyros, my love, stop! Please don't hurt her." Silvara's voice sounds wrong though, stretched and weary.
The Green Hag addresses you once more, "Her soul is not gone. Not yet. I alone can unbind it and give her back to you. All I ask... is that you let me live. Kill me and her soul scatters into the storm forever. A thousand pieces, lost to the wind. No afterlife. No peace. No reunion. But spare me, and I will show you where she is hidden. I will undo the chains myself."
The cauldron on the south edge of the pool continues to churn in a violent vortex even without someone to stir it. The Hag continues, "I am the only one who knows the final word of binding. The only one who can release her without... consequences."
"You must choose... heroes. My life... or her soul."
Bow still in hand, Meiratries to get a sense of whether the Green Hag's words might be true. It seems possible, though also so very likely just a trick of this vile creature. (Insight: 12) Regardless, she calls out to Zephyros, "Whether true or not, I'm not sure how we could trust such a being. Take care."
She also tries to see if she can tell where the Green Hag voice is coming from. (Perception: 20)

Zephyros pauses, and lowers his trident. 'Silvara, my love?'The veteran ponders to himself. 'Why would she... She would never seek to spare such an evil being... She hated monsters...'Ironheart's countenance changes from a face of longing to one of much more fury. 'My wife's voice is wrong in too many ways... and that wretched hag. I am fed up with it's deceit.' The calloused bear decides.
"You wretched, twisted, pathetic creature. Too long have you lured and deceived me. Too long have your perverse ways doomed many sailors to a dark doom,"The Ironheart booms from near the center of the room. He goes on furiously, shouting, "I call your bluff. When I find you, I will rip you to pieces with my bare hands. As the Kraken Herself tears apart ship and sailor alike, and as a tsunami annihilates home and family, so shall I make you suffer and obliterate your soul into thousands of pieces! Your time to do evil has ceased, and the wrath of justice has come like a sea-storm, unrelenting and without mercy."
The infuriated beast of a man looks to Razieland Alisande. "Are either of you able to cast Faerie fire or See invisibility?"
You both have a hard time discerning the truthfulness of the hag. Similarly, this invisibility seems to be the hag's specialty. Her voice carrying around the chamber, echoing off the walls makes this task very difficult. It's close to impossible to tell where the hag is currently.
Zephyros,
The hag responds to your provocative words, "You fool! You oaf! You imbecile! Your wife's soul is now forfeit and the last thing she will know is that you cared not for her redemption! She will know you failed to save her! Your companion's spells will not help you now. Nothing can! Just when you least expect it... just when you think all is well, your solace will turn to ash, your happiness, to tragedy. I vow to destroy you if it's the last thing I do."
Alisande responds a moment later as she grabs a different wand from her belt. "Well... maybe, but the results are unpredictable." She brandishes the wand of wonder. "With your leave..."
Gareth glances over at the injured Rasziel when Alisande draws the wand. To his understanding, there's no telling what the wand will actually unleash.
"That could do more harm than good, but I'll defer to the will of the group, says Gareth. If only he could see the night hag, he could apply his hunter's mark to her and know exactly where she is hiding, but alas, the tricksome creature had gone invisible before he could do so.

Meirahears Zephyros' words, and gives him a nod, acknowledging the decision he's made. It was a hard one, and she's not so sure how well she might have done if it had been someone she loved. To Alisande she gives a quiet "go ahead" as she makes to cast with her unpredictable wand. She can't really think of any other way to coax out the hag, though she would look about the room to see if anything might give her an idea. (Perception: 14)
As she waits for something to happen, she once again utilizes her ring to make herself invisible.
With no better options to offer, Rasziel reluctantly nods in agreement as Alisande suggests using the wand of obnoxious unpredictability, bracing himself for an unforseeable doom.
"You cannot destroy something that was never there, hag. Peace was always an illusion in my days, and happiness will never reach my face,"The warriorscoffs. He adds, "In my experience, the man who resorts to name calling and empty curses is the one who has lost."
Alisandegives an embellished swish and flick, sending a shimmering green light towards the witches cauldron, guessing the hag may have returned to it. The light hits the area beneath the cauldron and instantly, grass begins to grow and cover the entire stone floor out to a range of 60'. "Alisandesays, "Huh, I didn't expect that."
Kithran shouts, his voice thundering across the room.
"Alright, Hag! I'll make you a deal. You free Silvara's soul, and you will have earned your life, but if you do us wrong, I will tear you apart and scatter you to the wind."
Intimidation: 26
Kithranwalks to the cauldron and waits for a response.
The hag chuckles as the grass covers the rough stone flooring, "Thank you my lovely lady! The room is much more to my liking now. Hahahaha."
As Kithranspeaks a silence follows...
...then, "Very well deathknight. I'm glad to see reason prevail. I will end the summoning ritual and free the souls trapped in the vortex. In exchange, I expect you hold true to our bargain." You can almost sense a fear in her voice as she speaks.
You see the Green Hag materialize standing at the cauldron of bubbling, swirling vortex of liquid. Standing near the cauldron, Kithran, you see the liquid looks more like spectral energy glowing with a blue hue. The hag begins reciting some words in a language you don't understand.
"Lethariel voss taelen..."
"Sira'thune en'vala..."
Dorei'mae shal'vurin..."
As she speaks, the spectral energy in the cauldron begins to slow, as if someone is churning it the opposite direction. Loose stones in the room tremble and begin to lift into the air. The hag continues, her voice getting louder and cracking,
"Feythar lun'mae..."
Vora'thel sil'raen..."
Thunder begins to pound from outside, as if a thousand lightning strikes were hammering the lighthouse tower. The hag continues, screaming the final line,
"SHAL'THORIN AE'LUNAR!"
The vortex inside the cauldron implodes! Several blue wisps escape from the cauldron spreading out in all directions. Trapped souls, freed from the coven's dark magic. A single blue wisp lingers and floats to Zephyros. Before the armored warrior is the ghostly image of Silvara. She says, "My love, you finally came." Her spectral hand raises to touch the bearded warriors cheek. "Now we can be together." As she does, her energy flows into Zephyros, traveling down into his strong arm and comes to rest in her trident.
The lighthouse around you begins to rumble as the floating rocks tumble, and a large crack forms down the tower stairwell. The hag stands next to her cauldron. "I have done as you've asked." What do you do next?
Gareth:
You recognize the language spoken by the hag as Sylvan. She says, "Release the bound. Unwind the storm. Break the downing. Free the souls. LET THE STORM DIE!"
Zephyros,
